I recently got my nipples pierced by Rebecca. I'd been nervous about the amount of pain I would feel both during & after the procedure. Rebecca took the time to explain what it would feel like & walked me through the sensations that flood your body when it is pierced by a sharp piece of metal. Yes, it hurts like bleep when the needle punches through your skin, but I've experienced very minimal pain or discomfort afterwards. I'm in the second week of healing. I can hardly tell they are there most of the time. Unless one of my dogs suddenly barrels into my chest. Rebecca was very clean & professional. Her guidance regarding placement enhanced the aesthetic of the overall look. I will definitely return for any future piercing needs. read more

This is my 2nd time giving Sacred a chance at a piercing and they managed to screw it up for me once again. A few years ago I had my belly button done, and the jewlery was screwed so tight I had to use pliers to remove it. Not to mention it was a very painful healing experience, which I accredit to the jewlery quality. This time around I decided to have my conch re-done. The piercer was unprofessional as he evaluated my ear, stating that my ear was "fucked up" from the last time it was done. Well, Sacred also majorly fucked my ear. My conch did not have the appropriate length to allow for swelling and healing, so the area became inflamed and my earring was swallowed into my ear. I followed my healing process to a tee and the piercing formed a bloody, pus-filled bump at the piercing site, which I again accredit to the poor jewlery they use here. I will never be visiting them again. read more

Cool little shop, good people, good customer service. Only complaint is that when I came in to get my septum pierced, the apprentice who pierced me said I had a deviated septum and that she wasn't 100% confident if she could pierce me. She even asked if I had broken my nose in the past, which I have not. I went ahead with the piercing and it went smoothly. When I came in a few weeks later cause I had lost a ball on my septum, the piercer there told me I did not have a deviated septum when I mentioned what the apprentice had said. Over all great service and cool people just kinda weird I was told my nose was crooked and then told it's not.....not really sure what to believe but the piercing came out great so all's we'll that ends well. read more

I waited two hours for a piercing. Was waiting in my car the whole time in the parking lot next to the shop due to them only having 3 parking spots. Came in to check in periodically to see our wait time, while there was over 25 people in front of our group to go we waited about an hour before checking in because we were told it would be at least over an hour wait. Came in and was told our spot was removed to the back of the line due to not being on their premises ( we asked if we can sit next door and was told it was fine). We kindly explained the situation and was told that we were moved to the back of the line. We were treated rudely to while trying to explain the situation, told we were lying. I highly wouldn't recommend this place. I don't want to give my money to people who treat women like this. Very disappointed in this establishment. read more

I've been here multiple times for a belly button piercing and a couple tattoos and always had good experiences but today me and my friend went to get some piercings with Mojo I think his name was and he was very aggressive and rude towards me. I was a little nervous and just needed a minute and he was very irritated and wasn't afraid to show he was pissed off. He was super unprofessional! Went here for a Friday the 13th tattoo special. It was really busy but the whole staff kept things organized while still being friendly. Space was very clean despite the number of people going through. Got tattooed by Kevo, it was great! I didn't feel rushed and we had enough time to build a bit of rapport which was great! There is no customer service at all. Everybody's so rude and acts like they're so stuck up. I called the day before and this girl on the phone was so rude and vague. I tried to set up an appointment to get a stencil to see how the tattoo would look on me and get some prices. She told me that I just need to come in just do a walk in. So I do that, I waste my gas and drive all the way to this location to do that and I spoke to Kevin while he was in the middle of doing a Tattoo and he was extremely rude to me.He told me he won't do a stencil for me, he does it for nice people only. He was extremely rude, he embarrassed me in front of the three other people there. I wasted my time, my gas. I went out there just to be insulted. I can't believe you have people working there that talk to their customers like that it's insane. Not only did he mess up the piercing, he showed no reassurance, and didn't check with my friend about the location of the piercing before he went in with the needle. Don't get pierced here. The lady who did mine lost the needle in the middle of getting my nostril pierced. She ran for another one to finish up then proceeded to aggressively pierce my nose. It wasn't working out but she forced it. It was very uncomfortable but I out my trust in her as a professional which now I wish I hadn't. Now I have a large ugly keloid forming under my nose piercing. I've had my nose pierced in the past with no issues by a different piercer at the downtown location. Sarah Wakefield is the best! I went to her to get my first tattoo on my foot. Since then I have worked my way half way up my calf and am still going. Additionally, my husband and I and our niece got matching tattoos from Sarah. My husband also got two other incredible tattoos from her, one of them was a memorial piece. I took my teenage daughter in to Sacred Art on January 26, 2017, to get her septum pierced. We walked in and had to stand there for several minutes while the three employees finished their conversation. They did not look up or even acknowledge that we were there, and when they finished talking all three of them stayed seated where they were and stared at us rather than asking what they could help us with. It was super awkward and uncomfortable. I told them what we were there for and again they acted super uninterested and just on the verge of being outright rude, (I'm pretty sure one of them rolled her eyes). The guy who seemed the most in charge then told us that my daughter needed her birth certificate and a picture I.D. When I told him that she didn't have any kind of photo I.D. one of the women stated that they needed to have one because "she may not even be your daughter" and "we aren't going to take your word for it". This woman gave off the biggest F.U. vibe and was so rude that I was honestly kind of speechless- I didn't know if I should laugh or tell her to go to hell. So, we left without completing the piercing and I later found out that it is actually a state law that a photo I.D. be presented. The employees at Sacred Art never once said or even implied that this was the case. They made my daughter so uncomfortable that it took her another five months to decide to give it another try, (she had it done at Straight To The Point). I really disliked the way we were treated at Sacred Art. I thought they were unwelcome and unfriendly and it was pretty obvious they didn't want our business. Waited in line for more than an hour to get a simple plan line tattoo. The guy who did my tattoo was nice, but his hands were shaking the whole time and he was in a rush. My friend and i all got the same tattoo and none of the lines on the tattoos are straight. You can see every imperfection. Would not recommend for anyone getting a small basic tattoo. read more
