I had never been here before but saw good reviews and great Instagram photos. She understood the assignment - giving me a great consultation to ensure it. She uses glue that lasts and lashes that are simply beautiful. I always get the classic lashes, but I've seen her hybrid and volume lashes, and they are marvelous. I see her about every 3 weeks. Her prices are very competitive and the quality is the best I've found. I wholeheartedly recommend you go see her if you want to get lashes for a special occasion or like me just do them on the regular. I always thought the expense was too much and even said out loud I'd never afford to do lashes for $60-something every 3-4 weeks, but I did it once and I'm hooked. And it's worth it! It saves SO much time getting ready in the mornings. I rarely use any makeup anymore because they create such a nice natural look. You have to brush the lashes and take care of them, but now that I've worked them into my lifestyle and budget, I plan to keep doing them for a while. Maybe it did at one time, but now it has fallen into disrepair and shows too many signs of been neglected. Filled with clutter, dirty floors, very dusty, peeling paint with water stained walls and ceiling. My skin also broke out from the treatment, which had never happened before. Sorry, I just can't recommend, although the esthetician herself was talented and friendly enough. I purchased a 2 pack waxing from groupon, but wont be returning. And really, with all the non essential businesses being closed for weeks there was plenty of time to fix 'er up. Shame.

Munni immediately understood what I was going for and recommended a tint along with threading. She explained everything clearly and reassured me that tinting is temporary, so it was a great way to try it out. I had a 3pm appointment but arrived early at 2:30 and was taken in right away. The experience was relaxing, the salon was spotless, and the music created a calm atmosphere. Munni also mentioned they offer facials and other services, which I'll definitely be back for. Bonus: They offer a punch card--after 9 visits you get a free service! Pro tip: Park in the back of the building for easier access. While the neighborhood overall feels safe, the immediate area around the plaza can sometimes have homeless activity. That said, I felt completely comfortable inside--clean, professional, and welcoming. Highly recommend Munni and the team here!

She asked what style I wanted and I showed her a picture and she confidently said she could do it. 3hrs later and a very uncomfortable experience with what felt like my lashes were being plucked out, i got a completely different look than what I showed her. Apparently I was charged for a "custom set" but it looks like a classic mega lash. My eyes have been red, swollen, and itchy since. I fear that my natural lashes are damaged due to the roughness of the application process . Despite me explaining this to her after my appointment, she just said she can do a free fix and she doesn't do refunds because "you should have read my policy". I just personally would not recommend going here for lashes, especially for the price.

I had issues with the first place I went to (lashes del sol) my lashes on my left eye looked noticeably less full than the lashes on my right eye, and the second place (kist by mist), even though she tried the best she could to fix the first job, still wasn't that great, and I kept losing so many lashes! One of my close friends recommended Melissa, as she saw her the week before, so I booked my appointment right away.. and this was the first time I actually fell asleep while someone doing my lashes. The experience is so relaxing, and I am one of those people that can never sleep easily, let alone someone doing my lashes... My lashes looked awesome after Melissa was done... and I barely lost any lashes for the (almost) 2 weeks that I've had them. I've never had someone "cure" my lashes and honestly, it works...
