I love this place. Jibo is the best. He has been working on my sleeve for a couple months now and I love it. Vibe is very chill and prices are solid. I'm getting a little off each session because I am getting such a big piece. I always look forward to my tattoo days. Jibo is so fun and personable, the work is quality and I always have a good time. I bring a blanket and lounge in the comfy tattoo bed (seriously really comfortable) and chat with Jib, listen to music or stream something on my phone for a few hours. I got 4 piercing done here at two different times, my daith and helix, and about 6 months later I got my rook and conch done. I had a few problems with my daith and helix but I assumed that I was doing something wrong. When I came in for my other piercings (rook and conch) I asked them to take a look at my helix as I was concerned. They completely blew off this concern of mine and ignored me moving onto the next people in line. I asked again what I should do both piercers in the shop blew me off with a response of you are not cleaning your piercing correctly. Once I got my rook and conch, 5 days had gone by and I got concerned as the swelling was not going down. I called and asked if I could come in as I was concerned about these two piercings. I came and had said I was concerned that my conch was infected as I noticed puss coming out of one side. The piercer looking at my ear completely blew off my concerns and told me that I was probably doing something wrong. I left being more concerned then when I originally came in. Do not get pierced here, if you have later issues with a piercing they ignore you! read more

I am a fan of numbing spray and I will say theirs was great, I didn't feel a thing after spraying some! This place is AMAZING! I was very hesitant on going here because there are some mix reviews but I had a great experience and will definitely recommend this place to anyone who asks me. I did a walk-in to change my nose stud for a hoop and the guy was able to do my piercing within 10 minutes. Jager Ryan was the person who did the change and was SUPER nice and so funny. I was in and out within 15 minutes. Pricing is reasonable too. My prior stud was $90 and my hoop was $20 for good quality. Crazy! The man who pierced my ears was very nice. But after a year of having a piercing that won't heal, I went to another piercing place and they told me that piercing a helix with a hoop was a bad method because the piercing needle is straight but the hoop has a curvature so that'll be the first irritant to my piercing. Secondly, the hoop he put in as a default was too big for the hole and only added to the irritation. Just not very great methods but a nice piercer. I took out the piercing and am going to let it fully heal before I go to another place to get another helix piercing. read more

My girlfriend and I have been here twice... once for a tattoo and once for a piercing. Both times, the service was great, but the end result was not good at all. 8 months ago we got a simple heart tattoo that has since bled out and looks old ( I have full body tattoos so I know when something is quality) but we live in Phoenix so going back to the already irritated artist we had seemed silly... Then, on Valentine's Day this year, we decided to get pierced. After the swelling went down, I realize my labret/lip piercing is totally off center. I had this piercing before and just wanted it redone... the guy who pierced me suggested we move the hole to make it more even. I told him I trusted his judgment and let him do his thing. A week later I realize that my old spot was dead on, and the new spot looks horrible. Super disappointed with the quality and experience these folks have. If you choose to go here, scrutinize their work. The guy I go to here in phx is badass and I've never had to question his ideas or work, so I assumed that was the case for this place. Bad call. i've gotten three piercings here and every one of them has been crooked or off center... i don't remember the girl who did my nipple piercings (the left one was crooked) but when i reached out to her to ask a question after getting them done she never responded. i also got my vertical labret done here by mojo and it's crooked as well, when he put the dots to place the piercing and showed me i told him it wasn't centered and he just said "that's as center as it'll get" ??? never going here for anything again they're very unprofessional. i wouldn't recommend them to anyone read more

So, where do I start. I had a horrible experience at Sacred Art. I stopped in because they're close to where I work, and I always pass by here, so I stopped in to see if I could get a consultation for a tattoo. I walk to the desk, where there were four tattoo artists standing around chatting, and ask if they'd be okay with a tattoo I had in mind. I pull out a picture of my mother, who died of breast cancer last year, and told them I wanted a portrait tattoo of her face on my left shoulder.. Suddenly, one of the guys (bigger Mexican guy with face tattoos) shouts "Your mother is f***ing ugly!" right to my face. The other guys were trying hard not to laugh. I was shocked by what he said, but ask if anyone else would be willing to do the tattoo, and they shake their heads, still chuckling. I go out the door, and found a different business that agreed to schedule an appointment with me. Never in my life have I seen such unprofessional behavior. They may look like they're in their 30's, yet still have the mindset of immature 12 year olds. Please, do not support these people. read more

If I could give them ZERO stars I would. They had a special on where you could donate $20 to a local organization and get an $80 tattoo. However, do not think this makes them a good, give-back-to-the-community shop. Every tattoo that was brought in for this special was turned away, no matter how simple and small it was. Ergo, I highly doubt they managed to donate any money.  My friend was having a small sigil done. Two half-moons, three lines. Extremely simple. It was about an inch and a half, two inches tall. The man at the shop said it would cost her over $100 for it - and it was going to take him about ten minutes. Therefore, there was going to be no donation (no possibility of a donation). Mine, which you see above, was obviously not going to fit into this. I wasn't surprised, and I was actually prepared for that. However, the disrespect, incredulity, and sheer mockery that we received in trying to get our tattoos done was unacceptable. They completely disrespected my friend, her tattoo idea, and the organization they claimed to be supporting. My friend and I were chatting, and we were getting increasingly uncomfortable. Four frat-boys walked in, and were treated like kings. Meanwhile, we were relegated to a sunken couch while the artist whispered to another behind a piece of paper and pointed and laughed at us for the idea that we might want to have this small sigil done and donate. I turned to her and told her about the shop I've gotten a tattoo done at since the last time we went to Sacred Art. I had been very impressed with Jason Tackett, another artist at Enchanted Dragon, and I told her about the experience. We picked up our stuff and walked out. As soon as we got to Enchanted Dragon and explained the situation, Greg stared at us and said he'd feel like he was stealing from us charging more than $60 for the tattoo, as it would only take him about ten, fifteen minutes. We stood and talked to him and the shop piercer for a while, and felt extremely comfortable and comforted by how they listened to our experience and sympathized.  Sacred Art now has two locations - do not go to either if you are considering it. They used to be an absolutely fantastic shop; however, now they are greedy and don't care about your art, your experience, or the community. read more

Complete greed!!!! So I took my business to Un Holy Ink and Louise did my tattoo with no problems . The next 200$ tattoo I get to help complete my sleeve and 6 or 7 tattoos after that Unholy Ink gets my business . I've been pierced by almost everyone at the shop on 4th ave and I absolutely recommend this shop IF you get pierced by Louis, Izzy, Ashley, Kailyn, Ryan, or Jazmine. Myra definitely messed up my septum piercing and my moms nose piercing when we went together. Ilea messed up my navel (bellybutton) and i still have issues with it 7 months later. I always try to get Louis he is really the kindest and funniest one there who makes the experience comfortable and fun. If he's not there i'll settle for izzy ryan or kailyn, everyone else always seems in a rush and is pretty rough handed which isn't an issue it's just harder to be comfortable with them. hope this helps! read more

I really enjoyed my experience! Got my conch pierced by Louis about a week ago and the healing process have been great. Louis was informative but I would recommend anyone that is new on getting piercings (like me) to have questions ready before you go in (especially about the cleaning/healing process). My ear stopped hurting after the first night and it barley hurts now even if I bump it on accident. The facility was clean and I appreciated how Louis placed the piercing because he mentioned how if I wanted to change it into a stud in the future this placement will allow it to be visible (which is something I hadn't thought about bc I really love the way the hoop looks). The price is also very affordable. The photo was taken 2 days after initial piercing. read more
