I've been getting tattoos here since August 2025. Since then I've pretty much been once a month! It had been about 20 years since my last tattoo and Galadriel really made the entire process so great. She's custom designed 3 pieces for me now, the most recent being a a large multi session piece on my arm that was a rework of an old tattoo that was busted. Now we're planning the other arm! She also did a basketball for me and it's perfectly circular!!!!!Galadriel is a great artist and I admire her creativity and ability to work with what you want. The shop is a cool place to be. It's clean and decorated well. (The bathroom is so cute.) While maintaining professionalism and a high level of knowledge the camaraderie between artists is evident and the shop owner Ken is a cool dude. It really seems like everyone works hard and likes to tat! I am so glad I found this place! Got my first tattoo at Stained Purity with Eddy and overall had a really good experience. I was super nervous but he took time to explain everything clearly and walked me through the consent form. He was professional but personable and listening to him talk about Hawaii (where he's from) was a great distraction. I got a fine line flower tattoo on my upper right thigh. He stenciled it first and was open to some small tweaks I asked for, which I appreciated. The heavy metal music playing did make me a little more anxious at first but it's probably just the shop's aesthetic. Also, while he was finishing up, the light accidentally fell on my face. It hurt for a bit but wasn't intentional. We laughed it off. Despite those small things, I'd still recommend Eddy, especially if you're new to tattoos and want someone who's chill, informative, and talented. read more

Got a new tattoo this afternoon at Stained Purity. Ken, the owner, was accommodating, pleasant, efficient and considerate (i.e. he didn't try talking to me while working on the tat, more on that later). Most of my tattoos were done at Tomato Tattoo, Chicago by Rob Hixon. I'd visited a number of highly-rated Tucson-area tattoo parlors, but none felt "right" to me. As I approached the door of Stained Purity and looked into the shop, I knew this was the place for me . . . if the personnel were also right. The soft--spoken guy at the front counter greeted me; the ambience worked for me (no loud music or flamboyant artist or eyesore decor). Several other artists were working on clients. The guy, Ken, is the owner. He gave me a very reasonable estimate and we made an appointment for the following week as I had errands to run. I left, but was able to complete the errands quickly. Called Ken who confirmed he was not booked so told me to come on in. The actual tattooing experience was really good. I watched him prep, using all the sanitary/antiseptic techniques and apparatuses I'd come to expect. After completing the no-fault form, I took the chair. Ken didn't try to talk to me during the process (I'm not one who likes to talk to barbers, tattooists, etc. while they're working), though there was no indication that he wouldn't talk if I wanted to converse. He was much quicker than I expected. The tattoo is beautiful, exactly as I wanted. Ken gave me all the info I needed for post-tat care. All-in-all, a great experience. I highly recommend Stained Purity and plan to take one of my nieces there for her next tattoo. (I'll post a photo after removing the wound care plastic dressing.) read more

I went in today and got my very first tattoo ever. I was SUPER nervous and didn't know what to expect. When I first walked in I instantly noticed the environment inside was so open and clean. My tattoo artists name was Mike and he made me feel so comfortable and at ease by taking all my nerves away. He was very patient with me wanting to replace my stencil (probably moved 6 times) and he made sure to answer all my questions and concerns in such a polite mannerly way.
