Got my first tattoo at Stained Purity with Eddy and overall had a really good experience. I was super nervous but he took time to explain everything clearly and walked me through the consent form. He was professional but personable and listening to him talk about Hawaii (where he's from) was a great distraction. I got a fine line flower tattoo on my upper right thigh. He stenciled it first and was open to some small tweaks I asked for, which I appreciated. The heavy metal music playing did make me a little more anxious at first but it's probably just the shop's aesthetic. Also, while he was finishing up, the light accidentally fell on my face. It hurt for a bit but wasn't intentional. We laughed it off. Despite those small things, I'd still recommend Eddy, especially if you're new to tattoos and want someone who's chill, informative, and talented. read more

Had some difficulty hearing back about setting up an appointment, and day of was on standby until we heard confirmation Galadriel could take us. I was excited that she was excited, and her good energy made for a great experience. She made sure everything was good every step of the way, communicating and keeping great sanitation practices throughout. All healed well and happy with how it came out read more

Very novice tattoo'd individual here. I came in to get a coverup of a very amateurish tattoo done over 2 decades ago. Patience helped me and together we created a beautiful piece. I consider myself a person with a very low pain threshold, however she made me feel very relaxed. I'm attaching the before and after. They speak for themselves. read more

Got a new tattoo this afternoon at Stained Purity. Ken, the owner, was accommodating, pleasant, efficient and considerate (i.e. he didn't try talking to me while working on the tat, more on that later). Most of my tattoos were done at Tomato Tattoo, Chicago by Rob Hixon. I'd visited a number of highly-rated Tucson-area tattoo parlors, but none felt "right" to me. As I approached the door of Stained Purity and looked into the shop, I knew this was the place for me . . . if the personnel were also right. The soft--spoken guy at the front counter greeted me; the ambience worked for me (no loud music or flamboyant artist or eyesore decor). Several other artists were working on clients. The guy, Ken, is the owner. He gave me a very reasonable estimate and we made an appointment for the following week as I had errands to run. I left, but was able to complete the errands quickly. Called Ken who confirmed he was not booked so told me to come on in. The actual tattooing experience was really good. I watched him prep, using all the sanitary/antiseptic techniques and apparatuses I'd come to expect. After completing the no-fault form, I took the chair. Ken didn't try to talk to me during the process (I'm not one who likes to talk to barbers, tattooists, etc. while they're working), though there was no indication that he wouldn't talk if I wanted to converse. He was much quicker than I expected. The tattoo is beautiful, exactly as I wanted. Ken gave me all the info I needed for post-tat care. All-in-all, a great experience. I highly recommend Stained Purity and plan to take one of my nieces there for her next tattoo. (I'll post a photo after removing the wound care plastic dressing.) read more

Eddy did an amazing job with my tattoo! I can't stop looking at it! Not only is he highly skilled at his craft, but he also creates a comfortable and fun environment that in my opinion adds so much value to the experience as a whole. That seems to be the environment Stained Purity creates for all of their customers and employees alike, and I'm sure it's something they pride themselves in. I will absolutely be back for more work from Eddy at Stained Purity. read more

From my initial inquiry to the finished product, Ken was super accomodating and fun to work with. He was able to fit me and my BF into his busy schedule while my BF was in town visiting. He took my crazy idea and made it a reality - just perfect! He's also just a really cool dude who definitely knows his music and Star Wars lore - it was so fun conversing with him. I went in today and got my very first tattoo ever. I was SUPER nervous and didn't know what to expect. When I first walked in I instantly noticed the environment inside was so open and clean. My tattoo artists name was Mike and he made me feel so comfortable and at ease by taking all my nerves away. He was very patient with me wanting to replace my stencil (probably moved 6 times) and he made sure to answer all my questions and concerns in such a polite mannerly way. When he finished the artwork it exceeded my expectations and was just absolutely beautiful! I would 100% recommend if you're looking for precise work and friendly service. read more
