This place has declined since our last visit a year ago. They've had their liquor license suspended for some reason, so no beer, wine or cocktails were available and nothing goes with sushi like beer. Not to mention hot sake after the meal. We ordered miso soup and vegetable tempura for an app. The miso soup was okay (it's hard not to be), but the tempura was a greasy, soggy glop that was one big breaded vegetable mass all glued together and tasted like old oil so we left most of it alone. Our sushi order included a spider roll, rainbow roll, a few pieces of nigirizushi and ahi tekka maki. The sushi was just okay, as it was not presented with any particular effort or style. The server didn't bring any small dipping bowls for shoyu and Wasabi so we used a plate from our appetizer until our server eventually came by our tatami room. She also took the long way around to bring us more wasabi, which came almost as we finished eating our sushi. Because there was no beer available my companion drank 2 bottles of water at the cost of $3 ea. So, wow. Mostly, this visit was a huge fail, though we entertained ourselves by guessing at how much worse the place could get. Worst ramen I have ever had! There were just a few Chinese noodles in soy sauce water, with lots of MSG. No flavor at all. It said has vegetables but only a few bean sprouts! 2 shrimps. Awful. Stopped by here for lunch. A pretty big restaurant and fairly clean. Our waiter took our order but we had to repeat it three times because he didn't bother to write it down. I ordered a green iced tea but didn't get it until I asked again. We ordered the seaweed salad, vermecelli with pork and spring rolls and three sushi rolls. Everything was good minus the vermecelli dish. The noodles were too soft and the pork was not your typical Vietnamese pork. The sushi was flavorful and each maki was 10 pieces! I've never been to a restaurant with a "last call" until I attempted to eat here. Their closing time is 10 PM. This was confirmed beforehand by their own website, Google Maps, and this site, as well as their posted hours on their entrance. I showed up a little after 9:30 and was greeted by a guy behind the counter asking me "how can I help you?" I responded "just one, please." The guy said "we're closed." When I contested this a woman who I believe was the hostess said they actually close at 9:30 which is their "last call." Very accommodating place with relaxed decor for a night out. NOT A BAD PLACE I PROMISE, you should experience it for yourself to get a feel. Some people like sushi from different places, this one just doesn't settle well for me. The prices were spectacular but unfortunately the THREE times that I've been here the food doesn't settle well and I am sick afterwards. And I'm not one of those people who would just base my experience and write from the first bad one so I gave it a shot- 3 strikes I'm out. Fantastic experience. Teriyaki bean sprouts as a palate cleanser to start, brought out along with a basket of hot scented towels to clean your hands. Fantastic chilled unfiltered sake. Tiger Tears was a great starter; just the right amount of spice. The miso soup was the best I've had. Very robust and flavorful. Fresh scallions and hot enough to make the tofu melt in your mouth. The Love Boat was almost too much for two people! The sashimi was so fresh. The tuna and salmon practically melted. Overall, highly recommended. read more

I just left this restaurant because after sitting at one of their tables for no less than 15 minutes and having not one but two waitresses come up to me and ask me what I wanted, which was a bloody Mary and some sushi, both of them put their fingers in my face and told me "just one moment and I'll be back," and neither returned. This restaurant does not have a full bar, they do not know how to make drinks, when I approached a third waiter and asked him if I could please have a bloody Mary he said "we don't know how to make a bloody Mary," and walked away and left me without service yet again. So now I have walked out and I am next-door at the Chinese restaurant called Panda Garden (which is not ignoring me and their menu is extremely good) and I am going to my old Japanese food standby which is a restaurant called FUJIYAMA: Fujiama is about a mile away has absolutely wonderful Japanese food, a full bar with a bartender who actually knows how to make drinks, and from the moment you walk in the door you will have service within 30 seconds. Not 15 to 25 minutes. They will not tell you that they cannot know how to make a drink. They will not put a finger in your face and tell you put one moment and I'll be right back," and then they never return. Finding this place was an incredible accident! We decided a sushi treat was reasonable. Since our two favorites were closed, we chose this location. Overall? Incredible. Spotless, l low key decor, excellent service, quiet, and the food? OMG. The Tom Yum Goon soup base ( made by the owners father) was flawless with perfectly cooked shrimp and freshly sliced peppers, mushrooms and onions. Even the basic Misi soup (sliced Kombu and scallions) was excellent. The Unagi sushi, perfect. The Daimyo Maki and Red Dragon rolls had ridiculously fresh fish and were subtly combined so you could taste each component. Two salmon skin hand rolls were perfect. I couldn't resist (nor really afford) the Uni sushi flown in from Hokkaido.....I am telling you this is a must if you know what you are tasting....sweet, fabulous. The Ikura sushi popped fresh and not salty in the mouth. I don't know what to say except they also had .375 ml Niguri sake, my favorite. We are, relaxed, refreshed our hearts though our palates. I live in Florida and travel for work I stopped in and ordered food to go , sashimi . Got back to my hotel took two bites and got a long strawberry blond hair in my mouth . The whole hair at least 6 in. Long literally pulled it out of my my mouth . I called and the first person I talked to was very nice,she said that we have got a new girl here with that colored hair.She wanted to give me credit to there restaurant. I said I'm only here for two days can I get my money back , she said I'll have a manager call you. After 3 hrs figured I would call back . I'm guessing I talked to the manager or owner because they knew about the situation . I told her what happened she said nobody has that colored hair here . Hundreds of menu options in three different cuisines: Japanese, Thai, and Vietnamese. There are two. full. pages. of sushi rolls. The fresh fish that topped my Super Rainbow Roll (you must get this. you must.) tasted as though I dipped my chopsticks into the ocean. It's the freshest fish I've ever tasted. I have come here for lunch often. You can get a sushi boxed lunch for $8.95 that is more food than one person could possibly eat. In my opinion, it's one of the best lunch values in the Stuart area. There's a full liquor bar and they offer some tasty and unique drink specials. I had the Pomarita (pomegranate margarita) and it was a perfect mixed drink. Hands down the BEST SUSHI I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE. Originally, I never had a "taste" for sushi. When I moved to Florida, my friend brought me here. He ordered everything and I agreed to try whatever it was that was brought out. Holy flavor explosion! I was addicted from day one. I don't think I'd be the sushi connoisseur that I am today if it wasn't for Sachi Sushi, better known by us as "The Sach." We became regulars and probably went twice a week for over the course of a year before moving to the other coast of Florida. We would always joke about taking the 4 hour journey back just to have dinner there. One of our favorites was the "JB Tempura." They take a jewish-bagel roll and deep-fry the entire thing. Absolutely amazing! The one thing about their sushi is that their rolls are ENORMOUS and price is spot-on. As an appetizer, I urge anybody to try the Yuke. It is raw steak served seviche style with scallions and soy. Outstanding appetizer that tastes like heaven! Their shrimp tempura appetizer is over the top as well. We became such regulars that the sushi-chefs knew us by name and would always recommend their favorites. They will even take requests as to what you want in your roll. Make your own, maybe they'll name it after you and put it on the menu! Never have I seen such a vast selection of sushi, Thai, Japanese, and other cuisines in one place. They also have private booths where you can take your shoes off and dine indian-style on the floor. Neat, but my feet fall asleep easily! I normally settled for the sushi-bar. Bringing out the hot towels before your are served is a nice touch that you don't see often. By far the best sushi I've ever had and I miss it dearly. I've been here twice and it's great food. I highly recommend the seaweed salad! The waitress will bring out a hot towel for you to refresh yourself. It has a hint of lavender (or something) and makes your skin really soft. The food is great. The only issue is the rolls are cut super large! One piece of a sushi roll is the size of two pieces of a roll anywhere else. It makes for a challenging dinner when you try to stuff a huge piece of roll in your face. My husband and I went here on a whim because we wanted to try something new. We are both avid lovers of sushi, so we decided to come here for a change. What a terrible idea. The service was great and the tatami rooms are pretty neat because it gives you a nice exclusive feel, but honestly the food was gross and overpriced. When eating sushi, it should not smell as if it's been sitting in the hot sun for several hours. It was very fishy. I would not recommend, we walked in at 10pm (they close at 11pm) and as we began our appetizers and ordered our main meal the server came over and said that this would be the last drink I received as they were closing down the Kitchen. Then as we began to eat our meal ( which was bland and over salted as they obviously did not care about the taste as they were closing) the server said that we must pay our check before finishing eating as he had to close down the register and that we could stay until 11, however the body language and atmosphere of the restaurant suggested they wanted us out then (midway through the meal). The worst part was when the server stood there and watched us write the tip and immediately was there to take the receipt from us as if he was expecting a worthy tip for his poor service. I would highly not recommend if you want a good service and good meal. read more

Whatevs, this place doesn't have great reviews but I think it's the jam. The sushi rolls are always on point. They are always presented beautifully and fresh. Plus I like the hot towels and mung sprouts presented before the meal. Sitting in the little booths in the floor is fun and makes the whole experience a little kitchy. The other night we had a server (I think his name was Kevin?) who was awesome, fun, and attentive. It was a great time with great food. I will say that I've gone here a few times solo and had some female servers, their attention was much more on their co-workers than on their tables. Stopped in here because I don't know the area very well and was wanting some Asian food. Service was good, the place wasn't busy at all, probably because I went between the lunch and dinner hours. I ordered the Tai spring rolls which were fantastic! (They called them something else, but I'm talking about the non-fried rice paper transparent ones). I also ordered a very spicy sushi roll (I don't recall the name now) but I thought there was too much rice, and the cilantro/coriander that was sticking out of both ends was wilted. The wasabi appeared to be a little dark, not the bright green that you would normally get. (Like an avocado gets dark after awhile). I just felt like someone was trying to skimp by serving old food. Wasabi is easy and cheap to make fresh. I also ordered red chicken curry to go. Got it home and had it later for dinner. The flavors were really good! I would say though, that once again they were skimping on the food. A few slivers of red and green pepper, some bamboo shoots, and a few pieces of thin chicken. The rest was soup. The rice that came with it was fresh. So, would I go back, yes probably. Bottom line is that this place has HUGE POTENTIAL! Just make the food fresh! Don't cheat! Your customers can tell! read more

Today I decided to order some Sushi for delivery. I definitely was not disappointed when my order arrived. I ordered Sashimi Deluxe and the Sashimi Sushi roll. The fish is fresh, no smell, great temperature and the taste was amazing. I don't normally expect delivery presentation to wow me, but I have to say they nailed it. The Sashimi was arranged beautifully and all the fixings were included. The roll was something I've never had before, basically little pieces of multiple fish all together and wrapped in seaweed paper. No rice, but some avocado and scallion in there lending it a great little crunch. Decent portion size The prices are on par with the prices for most Sushi places locally and they have a decent menu.
