Starting with the good: The service is very good. The menu is extensive. The place is large, quiet, and relaxing with the large fish tank. What I am disappointed about is the quality of the food has gone down hill. I have been coming here a few times a year, for the last 10 or so years and was shocked that they gave me questionable raw hamachi in my rolls. I could taste it in 2 different items I ordered. I didn't get sick, but being the only time I have ever received bad fish in the 35 years I've been eating sushi, I am done with the sushi offerings here in Florida. My mom and I went for lunch, and it was delicious. We ordered the miso, which warmed me up and tasted good, and the aged tofu was perfectly crispy. The sushi boat had rainbow rolls and sashimi. The price of cocktails here is amazing! Only 8 bucks, so I had a cucumber and then a ginger martini, both were refreshing and tasty! To eat I had miso soup which is very tasty! For the main course I had the lady finger, which is the rainbow roll and different pieces of sushi. It was delicious, fresh, and came on a boat! Which was a pleasant surprise. I went here over the weekend for the first time in about a year. I've been probably a couple dozen times over the years, though. This time we had a large party of 13. The staff did a wonderful job serving us. All orders came at roughly the same time and they were all correct the first time. I got the fire dragon roll for the first time. It was very tasty, but I was expecting it to be spicier. The daimyo roll is great, with lots of different fish in it. The crab rangoons are delicious, but can be pretty messy if you're not careful. It didn't do it for me. we sat for over 5 minutes before a server came to greet us, despite there only being maybe 4 active tables. First thing I noticed was the smell, overkill air freshener and the dining linens are so heavily scented with fabric softener. My daughter who is 3 wanted just a roll with rice and sprinkled with masago on top. $10. the roll came out wrong, which they corrected, but still took about 20 mins to make despite the lack of people inside. 2 cups of miso and 3 rolls $50. Not sure if it's a usual thing but the servers were making their own tables bar drinks, which seems counter productive. we usually dine at Ichimaru and love it. won't be back here. read more

This is a solid sushi restaurant that also offers noodle, rice, and fried dishes like Katsu and Tempura. Clean dining area with friendly, attentive staff. Food came out timely and delicious. The specialty rolls are huge to the point they were hard to eat for everyone in our party of four adults. There were also two children who had children's menu items of (1) Mac and cheese and (2) Chicken Katsu which were presented bento style with a side of (fried rice - in Katsu meal), steamed broccoli and two bite sized cheesecake squares. We went early on a rainy Saturday night during off season so there weren't a lot of people there. I was pleasantly surprised that it was a huge restaurant tucked into a strip mall. We ordered hot sake and plum wine which came promptly. The menu was extensive and prices were reasonable. I got the super (large) rainbow roll (recommend) and my dinner date got the seafood ramen soup (do not recommend - spaghetti for ramen, too much broth not enough seafood). The service was okay. Unfortunately this place has gone downhill very quickly over the past few months. Nothing was bad it just wasn't good. The quality of the fish was very low and the rice was overcooked. It's just not worth the pricing. This would be the third time in a row that it has been an unsatisfying experience. I would be better off picking up sushi at a Publix supermarket. The wait staff was very friendly as usual and the place has a great atmosphere and the potential to be so much more. This was a suggestion from a colleague at work! My boyfriend and I visited because I had a taste for sushi. We ordered for appetizers: Crab Rangoon, Vegetable Tempura, Gyoza, and wings. My boyfriend specifically said, "the wings are literally like they said, crisp to perfection, they're phenomenal" I personally loved the Rangoon part of the Crab Rangoon; it was much crispier than what I am used to and the chili sauce was on point. The vegetable tempura were big pieces and crispy smaller "veggie fries", both crispy, light and airy! For our entrees I had the Celebration roll and it is by far the best roll I've had in town. There is one other place I go to for sushi and now this is my favorite! My boyfriend had the Superior Crispy Duck Ramen Soup and when he first tasted it his eyes got all big and he said "wow, that is amazing".. the duck was Crispy in the broth and the flavors were superior to any ramen he's had (besides his mother's)! I started eating here over 10 years ago and make a point to stop in every time I visit as I had fond and nostalgic memories here. See photo below and take note of the tiny piece of tuna on top of the $20 Super Sachi roll (the whole roll was like this). I did takeout sushi. My first time there. I was hoping it would be "my" sushi place as I have celiac issues and they advertise gluten free. I bought three rolls - they were the skinniest rolls I've ever seen. The Nori was very chewy. The fish did not taste fresh. They did provide me with the gluten free soya sauce and the service was OK which is why it's a three star instead of a one star - but overall not worth 29.00 for three very skinny sushi rolls. Our son ordered takeout for his mother's birthday and It was great so we went there to try the restaurant. Big Mistake place was total chaos. Friday nite place was very busy, focus was on takeout orders only to hell with everybody else's orders. Instead of shutting down takeout this greedy manager wanted to grab everything he could and did nothing right . Very disappointed. So we asked to speak with the manager. I ordered the spider roll (which I have ordered so many times before) and my first piece was fishy, second piece was so bad I wanted to spit it out but they have cloth napkins . Visiting my father-in-law from California, decided to try the place. Ordered two rolls. After I ate one of the slices from one of the plates, I noticed a long black hair on the plate the roll was served on. Portion of the hair wrapped around the sushi. We're talking about 3-4 inch long hair. I called the staff, and they took it away, telling us a new roll is coming. I then examine the second plate, and spot a shorter hair!!! Called them again, blah-blah-blah. One would think that "I'm so sorry" would be in order. Instead, the waitress suggests that it's probably a thin slice of ginger or something. Seriously??? I think I can tell the difference between hair and ginger. Gross. And... the first roll that was taken away came back suspiciously fast, considering it took them 15 minutes to deliver the two rolls originally. I'm speculate they simply pulled the hair off and send the plate back. Not sure about you, but if I own a restaurant, and a hair ends up on the customer's plate, I would comp the meal and apologize profusely, begging the customer to come back so that I can redeem myself and the food I serve! That did not happen. Lastly, I may be spoiled by regularly having fresh sushi in San Francisco, but what I did taste at Sachi Sushi was very very average.
