Get this. When this joint first opened, I glanced at their specialty rolls and was majorly let down by the amount of shell fish that is used in almost all of the rolls. Fast forward a few years later, I finally walk in. Super cool vibe/decor along with super friendly staff, so I glanced a little further. I asked if I could make some alterations, and to my surprise, they were cool with it. I ended up enjoying an eel roll, with the toppings of the rainbow roll, and it did not disappoint! TL;DR: do not sleep on RNR Sushi! My dad saw this spot open and waited until I came to visit to try it for the first time. It's in a small strip plaza with plenty of parking. If you blink on US-1, you'll pass it, so pay attention! Walking through the front door you're transported to a cool concert venue rock vibe. There's a bar with several high top seats, several high top tables for 2, and booths along the length of the restaurant. The kitchen is open and we were instructed to sit where we liked. The space is clean, great lighting, fun decorations, and rock music videos on the tvs! The menu offers several hibachi choices and an extensive specialty and classic sushi roll list. We started with the twisted tuna appetizer and the egg rolls. Both came out fast and beautifully plated. The tuna was chopped much finer than other poke chip appetizer type options in town, and was so fresh. This was a stellar choice, and I did not find it spicy as the menu indicated. The egg rolls come cut on a long bias which is perfect for dipping in the tasty sweet chili sauce it comes with. That sauce has a kick! I also got a side ginger salad and I need to rave about this dressing - please bottle and sell it! We chose three specialty rolls to share: jailhouse roll, Velcro pygmies roll, and sweet home Alabama roll. I am obsessed with RNR Sushi having crawfish on the menu! After trying this spread, I am convinced there's no bad choice on the menu. They offer soy paper instead of seaweed, which is not always offered at other sushi spots. The Velcro pygmies roll was a standout for me, so luxurious and rich, and really showcasing how flavors can work together. Notably, there were no fishy smells, the ingredients were so high quality, and the prices very comparable and reasonable. I'm going to be very honest I was absolutely shocked at the quality and experience coming out of a franchised strip mall sushi chain but we will 100% be back, recommending to friends, and enjoying again. I will preface that we got invited to the soft opening of the weekend (friends/family for them to get the rhythm going), but like I have for Yelp events I've been invited to, I want to be honest and fair. In short, I'm still thinking about this place days after meaning I want to go back. When I get to places that makes me ponder and want to go back quickly, that's my 5 star trigger. I had a sake mule. I loved it as I don't love sweet drinks...this one was just about right. We had the tuna wontons (aka 'Twisted Tuna'). I've attached a picture. Wonderful. One daughter had a chicken and shrimp hibachi. One of the best I've had. We then had 4 rolls on the table: Rainbow Roll Jam Sesh Punk Rock roll Pre Madonna...this had shredded 'Krab' which we usually aren't fans of......AMAZING. The one go to roll if I could only pick one. All the food just seemed elevated above 'regular' sushi restaurants. And if the prices are the same as others (maybe cheaper) and its a super cool interior....this should be your go to sushi place, it will certainly be mine. One 'gripe', and it's in the 2nd Yelp review...it's freakin loud. I get it, it's their 'schtick'. Rock n roll man. But it's hard to have a conversation. Maybe drop the volume a tad. So it wasn't crowded on a rainy Saturday night when we went in but it did get pretty busy! I loved the ambiance which was very modern with tv monitors playing music videos. I'm hoping that if a big game is on they switch at least some of them to it even if with no sound. Loved our server but she was a bit overwhelming coming back many times to ask if we were ready to order our main meal after just ordering drinks (hot sake) and an app. We did use a coupon for app we found in the local Palm City flyer we get. First, Miso soup was fair at best. We next had the appetizer sampler platter. While nothing was bad, it was all deep fried. For the main meal we ordered two rolls one specialty, spider roll and one of the standard selections, Cajun Craw fish. Too saucy and just not great tasting. One final note, many of the selections on the menu had cream cheese in the rolls, just not a great ingredient for superior sushi selections. First and last time. It's fast food that's not served fast and it's pricey! I don't mind paying $28 for a meal but don't sell me filet mignon and then give me fatty, grilled questionable meat. We waited for 40 minutes for a tuna roll and Filet and mine came out first...wait...wait...wait...finally someone asked what was wrong. Never got my husbands so we started to pay and the manager (who was right by us the entire time) finally came over and said he'd package the tuna roll to go. No thank you! Sonny needs to be fired. The first time I came here, it was overall a good experience. The service was fast, our food was excellent, and our server was super nice. But this time... As soon as we sat down (party of 3) they only had a set of two menus and chopsticks, so as one would expect, the server bring another set over to the table, right? Wrong! I had to grab my own chopsticks, he never even cleared my menu from the table until I literally handed it to him, we ordered our food and drinks, our rolls were okay until he brought out the, what looked to be "baked potato" roll (the volcano roll). He has conversations with you while walking away from the table. I'm pretty sure he was high. I only say that because he barely paid attention, and acted like he didn't care. After our appetizer, the whole plate was empty and he stared at it whilst walking by, yet didn't bother to clear it. Somebody at my table ordered a cocktail, and halfway through drinking it, he took it even though it still had liquid in it! Then totally forgot he took it. It took a fair amount of time for the rolls. I think that the girls by the side station could be doing something and cleaning something instead of chitchatting next to the kitchen line. I think he'd do really well here if he put effort into it, I hope they give him another chance. If I could leave 0 stars, I would, but unfortunately, it's not an option. 1 star. read more

I was in Stuart last week for the homecoming parade and we went here for dinner with my mom and my niece they wanted us to check this new place out. I love sushi and we eat and several other sushi restaurants in the area. This place kinda feels like a fast food sushi restaurant. They were out of salmon and only had smoked salmon on this night. The food was decent and the prices were good. My only major complaint was the tempura batter they used on many of the apps was way too heavy and it's pretty much all u tasted. The sushi was decent not spectacular. Hopefully they can step it up a notch I would love to see this place succeed read more

Visited on a Sunday afternoon after all the local hype. Boy were we disappointed. Rolls were small for the price and although the service wasn't bad our waitress never noticed half our order didn't make it to the table. By the time we chased her down all others at the table completed their meals and were ready to leave. Too late! Check please! I'd mention the filet mignon roll was mid, tiny at best and truth is we weren't certain it was filet. Instead a grizzly overcooked and rubbery meat product that was served stuck to tin foil. Note to chef- please don't EVER serve your meals on tin foil! Half the roll fell apart when we tried to separate the two. Wish the place was better but don't think we'll be back. read more

I believe we dealt with either the manager or the franchisee, either way he was so helpful and friendly we decided to plainer back and place the order. We ordered the chicken hibachi and the Drum Roll sushi platter. The hibachi was delicious, even better than some of the popular hibachi places, one of the best yum yum sauces too. The sushi was fresh and beautifully presented, wish we had gotten a pic. What you'll get is a lively atmosphere with music videos playing on the TV screens and electric guitars hanging on the wall. Kind of like the Hard Rock Cafe meets Benihana. Jalopeño poppers with krab was a nice twist, the potstickers did not need any sauce they were so tasty, the egg rolls were crunchy and packed with delicous filling, and the wontons were so creamy and delicious.
