Yummmm! I love everything about Sabor.. the prices, the service, and the food. I always order the same thing.. chicken taco salad and it's delicious! The chicken is never too dry and is always flavorful. The base of the salad is a taco like shell in the shape of a bowl, which is then topped with a mixture of lettuce, cheese, black or pinto beans, sour cream, avocado, and your protein of choice (mine being chicken). There's no dressing that comes with it or anything, but just head over to the salsa bar and select your salsa of spice to complete your meal. Service is great. It's not a sit down restaurant where you have a server waiting on you, more like a fast food concept in which you order at the counter and they'll call your number when your order is ready. read more

Go somewhere else to eat. I am upset at the very poor customer service. Called in an order and the girl answering the phone was *beyond* rude. She hung up on me before telling me the total and didn't even ask who was picking up the order. I called back - the person answering the phone knew just who to hand the phone to - I called her out on her poor customer service. Her apology surrounded some nonsense about how busy they are and that I shouldn't take it personally how she treated me. Gaslighting 101, it wasn't her, it was me, right? There isn't anyone to complain to about their crappy service and food that is just okay. So im very picky when it comes down to Mexican food because I am Mexican. Anyways, i had a smothered steak burrito. The burrito was delicious even though the meat taste plain. I hace my personal beliefs that Mexican restaurants cater to people that are sensitive to flavor, not even spiciness. So the burrito was worth the price because of the size. Best spot for first responders as we get a fat discount so u if you work in those fields go get your self some breakfast burritos! I cannot believe it took us so long to try this great restaurant! We've lived down the street for a while and keep forgetting this place is here- we sure were missing out!! We finally tried it a couple of months ago and it immediately became a go to place in our house! My husband is quite particular about Mexican food and has loved everything he's tried! We've been several times in the last couple of months and have enjoyed everything we've tried!! This has definitely become a family favorite in our house! I believe there are a couple of locations though we've only tried the City Center location. Staff was very nice and always accommodating to special requests. 2 weeks ago I went there for a breakfast burrito. I ordered the Big Burrito and specified bacon as the meat. The burrito tasted good but had no bacon I could see. 80% of the filling was rice. There was a little bit of egg and a little bit of potato. Definitely not worth the money. Today I ordered the traditional burrito with chicken and pintos as well as the smother option minus sour cream. Once again, the burrito was 80% rice, a small serving of chicken and no beans. Holy guacamole!!!! I went here today for lunch at 2p. It was packed at first so I had a little bit of a wait. That's fine. I ordered the Dos Tacos platter. One taco was steak the other was chicken. I asked for no salsa since they have a salsa bar. I received them with salsa and BOY them tacos were spicy as all get out. I'm not really a person who likes a lot of heat on my meat so that salsa was way too much for me to enjoy the meal. It's good for the sinus though! I tried the rice and black beans once my tongue healed. I would've liked the beans to be softer and the rice was fine too. My go to place. They make TORTAS!! My favorite is the 2 or 3 taco plate, fish tacos, or the carne asada, but that's just me. You can get black or pinto beans, even refried with your plate, some avocado and lettuce. The salsa is always fresh and never too oniony, and you can do hot mild, red or green. This place definately does not compare to chipotle nor quedoba. Orders take a few minutes to make, but why rush all the time? Foods never greasy or microwaved (that i know of) and I've never gotten sick. You get small order chips while you wait. Perfect location, clean lobby, and they have front and back entrances and parking. One bad thing... no horchata. If you eat Mexican you have to drink horchata. read more

I Was craving tacos on my lunch break and this came recommended by a co worker. It's in an outdoor shopping mall area and has convenient parking if you can get a spot. I luckily did at peak lunch time (12:00). They have a large menu and I ordered the dos tacos plate with shrimp and pastor meat. You can choose your meat, corn or flour tortillas, and type of beans. They serve each lunch with chips and there is an authentic salsa bar with amazingly fresh salsa, chiles, cilantro and limes. They have a lot of seating and both high top and regular tables. I saw children in the restaurant also, so it is family friendly/no frills. I couldn't stop eating even though I was full. It was awesome!! I think this may turn into a habit for me once a week. I was surprised by the quality of the food in this little spot at Aurora City Place (Alameda/Sable). I don't tend to expect much from small restaurants in malls but they offered several tasty choices, and ours were well prepared and ready quickly. I had a soft taco with pulled pork & rice with a side of black beans, my fave. My boyfriend had some kind of combo plate... a chicken enchilada and something else, probably tamales, because he loves them. I remember he was very happy with his selection. I really liked the salsa bar where you could choose your preferred level of spice. There are little signs so you know which is which but, unfortunately, someone had tossed all the signs to the side! Maybe a prankster, I don't know. So I got a little bit of each salsa for my boyfriend to try, and when he tasted one that made his eyes water, I knew to get more of that flavor! I ordered the chicken burrito (that was enough to feed 4 people, that I had to take most of it with me) and it made me feel like I was back at home, in Texas! I believe we have the best authentic Mexican food as I have eaten it my entire life!! Well this was right up with it! Homemade salsas, everything was fresh!!! My children shared the chicken nachos because they were so big! Plenty of food they even had leftovers. The refried beans & guacamole was fantastic! Definitely recommend again! If I were to summarize Sabor in one word, it would be: Average. I wanted to really love Sabor because I've heard such great reviews for it. But, I didn't love it, but I didn't hate it either. The burritos were cheap and pretty large, and the grilled chicken has great flavor, but everything else was just meh! I ordered my burrito with mild salsa and when my order came out, salsa wasn't in it. I'm not sure if that's because every customer had access to the salsa bar or if they just forgot... the mild tomato salsa was delicious, nonetheless. I went here on election day to celebrate with fajitas! They were so delicious! First of all it's a full portion for 8 dollars! The chicken was tender and seasoned. I got mexican rice and refried beans, fantastic. It comes with a healthy portion of sour cream and guac and your choice of tortillas. I got corn and they were warm and flexible. I actually live in the springs but have to stay in Aurora for a couple weeks because of the hospital. Ive been on the hunt for quality mexican/tex mex food since I moved to Colorado 5 years ago. The springs just doesnt have a single decent place and it feels like Ive tried them all. To my surprise I stumbled on this place on yelp and decided to give it a go. Texas has a chain called Taco Cabana that is super similar. Fresh tex mex food served like fast food. Sabor is actually better than Taco CAbana and the only mexican food I have enjoyed in Colorado so far. I had the taco salad with chicken. It was moist and tender and definitely fresh. I've been here twice for lunch in the past month. After seeing the great reviews, this place really earns their stars. I'm an eater that finds something he likes and has a hard time diverting and trying other menu items. The taco plate is hard to beat here. I've tried it with chicken and then with pastor. Both were amazing. It comes with salsa and guacamole so for around $8, you can't beat it. The refried beans and rice are what you'd expect. When you get the salsa though, definitely get the hot salsa. It actually has a nice heat to it and also is really flavorful. It's a lot better than any of the salsas I've tried from the standard Mexican "fast food" lunch you'd get from Qdoba or Chipotle. It also doesn't seem to matter when you go, the line could be hit or miss. They really get their customers through the line though quickly. This definitely has gone into my lunch rotation for the foreseeable future. I've also seen the burritos and salads and they look great as well. You never hear any murmurs from other tables of dissapointment here like you may find at other places. I'm excited to go back and try something new! read more

On this day I ordered one item and selected no tip. Later when I checked my account the amount debited from my account definitely included a tip. Apparently the girl decided to tip herself! I definitely found my new breakfast burrito place! Walking in to the store I noticed it was very clean compared to most places you'd go to find an authentic breakfast burrito. The man at the counter greeted me and helped me figure out what I should order. I was ordering for a group and wasn't sure if the mini burritos would be big enough he suggested I get those, so I did. They have red chili inside and it's not very spicy but OMG the flavor is delicious. I got a chorizo burrito, which in most places they're super greasy and make you feel Bleh when you're done eating them. This one wasn't greasy at all and had a perfect balance of all the ingredients!! The salsa bar had a pretty delicious arrangement of salsas. They had pico, hot ,mild , salsa casera ( which most places don't have) and green as well. The thing I was most impressed with was the cleanliness of it all. This is the location in Aurora just north of the mall in those shopping centers. Its where Baja Fresh used to be. They have the same menu, website and owners as the Arapahoe location, I think. I LOVE THIS PLACE! Its soooooooo good! They still have that awesome salsa bar and its even more authentic now. Its funny I didn't even realize the place was a new restaurant! They have delicious breakfast burritos and I LOVE their salads for when Im on a strict diet. IF I order a salad with no cheese, no chips and no dressing I get amazing grilled chicken or steak, fresh lettuce, tomatoes, avocados and black beans! This place is really yummy. The food is good, it's nice and clean inside, and the prices are unbearable. I came here the other day for breakfast and was blown away by how huge their breakfast burritos are, and for an unexplainable low price, too. My "small" breakfast burrito was a little over $3 and I could hardly finish it. I came in today for lunch and ordered the Grill burrito with chicken and it was pretty damn good. The burritos are huge, the flavors are authentic and very lively, and for the price I'd say it deserves to be recognized. I live right across the street, so this place will definitely be added into our weekly restaurant rotation. The staff falls short of friendly, but they are efficient, which is most important.
