We used to visit Sabor's often, but the place isn't what it used to be. No salsa bar, no tortilla chips, bigger prices and smaller portions. The service is usually grumpy. I'm still hoping they'll get their mojo back someday. read more

I love this place! We stumbled upon this by luck as we initially were trying to go to L&L, but only to find it was closed. Not wanting to waste our drive, we walked down and found sabor. The inside was nice and clean and the service was great. Since going there the first time, we've been back. We've gotten enchiladas, fajitas, burritos. All super good! Not bad. Just a middle of the road quick order Mexican food joint. I had been wanting to try them for awhile, and I did. Pretty basic plates , easy ordering, prices are reasonable for what you get. I ordered a 2 taco carne asada plate. Came with rice and beans. The service was just fine. They are located in a shopping center on a corner. Easy parking in front. The place was clean when I visited. I probably won't come back as the food was not memorable and I'm still on the hunt for an amazing taco place. read more

The food is very bland, including the salsas; burritos lack meat. Everything looks to be freshly made, so it took a while for the kitchen (I'd rather wait for fresh food than be served something made hours ago, so waiting was fine) and the service is friendly! Still 5 STARS! I've been coming here for years! They have served their fresh and delicious Mexican favorites since 2008. Jaime and his team are incredible! Most of the managers have been there for years too. Even with the pandemic the quality and service is still AMAZING! I like to try the whole menu when in a group but my go-to menu items are the chicken taco salad with black beans, breakfast burritos and the tacos. Others love their smothered burritos, tortas, enchiladas and fish tacos. I love coming here when I'm in a rush or in a time crunch. Service is always FAST! Food is always served HOT! This location has a busy parking lot but I seem to always score parking and love the outdoor patio seating in the summer months. The food is always FRESH WITH QUALITY FLAVORS at an affordable price. The portions are VERY GENEROUS and I often have left overs or a left over snack portion after purchasing a meal here. Today I had a chorizo mini burrito and it's huge! The scrambled eggs with lots of cheese and chorizo are very comforting and filling. However I know their regular or large is bigger than an OVERSTUFFED Qdoba or Chipotle burrito. Sabor has an incredible catering option to serve large groups too. They also have a location near CCSP so I often pick up something before paddle boarding or heading to the state park. Good breakfast burritos - anywhere but Denver, they are at least a four star. I almost always order the mini (the most incorrectly named food ever) burritos which are big ... and I get the ham version. I appreciate their use or chunks of ham, not just shreds. I'll add this suggestion: their green chile either needs to be recreated because it isn't flavorful enough, or they just need to put more on the burrito so the flavor goes up! Anyway - no reason to avoid this place but there are a lot better options in Denver at this point. read more

I was in the mood for a breakfast burrito in the middle of the day, and was sure I wasn't going to find a place to satiate my craving. But boy was I wrong. I found this restaurant on a Yelp, and checked the menu to see that they have a highly customizable menu that doesn't break the bank. I ordered the Big Breakfast Burrito with chorizo, bacon, pico, hot, eggs, potatoes, and rice. My order was made in a timely manner, and the burrito was bigger than the length of my hand! It was seasoned beautifully, a hint of spice (I like my foods super spicy so a hint of spice might be a lot for the regular person), the produce used was super fresh and vibrant in taste, and it was hot. I love Santiago's but boy do they have some competition. For less than 10 bucks you get a burrito a little larger than Chipotle's and the flavors are on point. I will definitely be back here many many times to come, I've already started recommending to my friends and family that they come check this place out! 10 out of 10!! read more

On the way to the airport we decided to have lunch. He felt like Mexican food so we stopped in. The place had two other parties eating but we weren't deterred. It was a simple operation with two employees it seemed. We placed our order and went to a station to select our salsas. Ranged from mild to hot. Then we sat ourselves and waited for our order. Took a bit but it was because there was a take out order called in. Saw our dishes so I went to pick them up. He ordered a burrito and I had huevos rancheros. His burrito was larger than average which he liked but not as tasty as it could be. My huevos rancheros was average. Bland and watery. Not sure why the dishes were not tasty as others have reviewed the place well. Not sure will be back to try again. Have better Mexican restaurants closer to home. read more

When I'm getting close to payday and I want something affordable and delicious, this is my place to go! The menu here is a good size and everything is super affordable. Kind of like a fast food Mexican place, but with higher quality food. The portions for the price are super great and we'll talk about the salsa bar (yes, I said salsa bar) later. Normally order the two taco meal with shrimp and it's somewhere under $10. Comes with two tacos (duh), your choice of beans, and Mexican rice. Also comes with guac and pico de gallo. I believe any entree comes with tortilla chips. They have a salsa bar with about five or six different salsas and you can literally get all the salsa you want! This is a plus for me because I love extra salsa with my Mexican food. They are all super flavorful! Food usually doesn't take longer than 10 minutes to come out and there are a lot of places to sit. Avoid coming at lunch time because they are normally pretty packed. read more

I've Been coming to Sabor for at least 5 years, that being said there has been a few incidents where the food was bad and we brushed it off. Maybe it was new cooks or change of management. But today was the 3rd time in a month where we had cold breakfast burritos with hard uncooked potatoes. I honestly would choose Taco Bell over this place now! It was great to see there is another Sabor in Aurora, the one that I usually go to is in Centennial. Definitely one of my favorite Mexican food spots for breakfast burritos. I did a little something different last time I was here. I ordered breakfast burritos for me and the kids and I got a bowl of green chili to go. It is something about their green chili, when I don't feel like SUPER spicy chili, this is perfect. I took some home, didn't eat all of it, threw the leftovers in the freezer and saved it for later. About a week later when I had that Sabor craving, I defrosted it and it was still delicious! Another thing, outside of their service being awesome, is there salsa bar, which they don't have at their Centennial location. Their salsa is freaking DELICIOUS... I got an extra one or two (don't judge me) just to make sure my breakfast burrito had some extra spice to it - their hot salsa is HOT and I love it. Breakfast plate was flavorful, a little on the over processed feel for the rice and refried beans. Almost like out of a can or frozen package. Eggs and bacon were fresh and the tortillas were great. Forgot how good this place was! Everyone is waiting in line for a burger and I'm getting the best torta I have ever eaten!! It is definitely Americanized Mexican food, but to be fair many ppl in the US wouldn't like truly authentic Mexican food. My faves here, Torta, fajita burrito, chicken enchiladas. I have been coming here for years and haven't eaten anything I don't like. I never get a weird piece of meat I have to spit out, everything tastes fresh, and there is something about their red sauce and corn tortillas... yummo! Fresh Pico all Day Long. This place offers self service station for salsa, peppers, and other flavor enhancers. That may seem run of the mill, but here is where your wrong. The pico de gallo is chopped by hand and made fresh. I have been in this store in the morning and night and consistency never changes on the ingredients and the freshness of the pico. It seems strange but here the condiment is the key. I come here for great deals on food and because they basically provide me with unlimited ingredients to flavor any food they serve me. As for the food itself, it's still maybe 3 stars. But there are some stand out items. I am big fan of their breakfast tacos. They cost $1.85 each and you can flavor them to your liking. I also like the Quesadilla Buritto if you absolutely have try a lunch item. They also have a solid secret menu item called Dos Manos. It's more like a secret menu deal since you can get 2 massive burritos for $9 25. The only reason this place doesn't get 5 stars is that the food here is not consistently awesome. There will be times when you get something here and you will just be wowed, but usually its like wow for the price this pretty good. The pico is the only thing consistent here. read more

The service here is always outstanding. We typically call in the order and go pick it up. They are very fast at getting the orders together. The food is always fresh and never fails to satisfy. My personal favorite is the taco salad, any meat. They are all so good. One thing I especially love is that there is good portions. Enough meat for the whole salad. Even the shrimp! The only downside to the taco salad is to go it gets soggy but they can put it on the side! All you have to do is ask! They have a salsa bar inside as well which makes it easy to personalize any meal. The salsas are not always the same so remember to taste them! There is plenty of seating inside and outside. This place completely exceeds my standards as a chain and the fact that it is fast food. Sabor completely knocks all fast food bias stereotypes right out the window. Everything about this place makes my socks go up AND down! The food is always perfectly flavored and ALWAYS has a delicious amount of cheese. Everything tastes and appears to be fresh. I love that you can see into the back where your food is being prepared and the fact that they have an amazing salsa bar where you can choose from a variety of freshly made salsas for your liking. Additionally, the salsa bar features sliced jalapeños mmmmmmm. This place is a great and quick lunch spot and the prices are great.
