I'm not sure who answered the phone when I called to ordered pickup but it was a female and she was an older woman and she was very sweet and helpful! I couldn't remember an item I wanted and somehow she knew what it was what I wanted lol. The restaurant itself was small but it was cute! My husband went in to grab the food but he came out smiling and was talking about a sweet, friendly little girl who was inside (possibly the daughter of the owner or the granddaughter?). My husband had the shrimp basil Thai fried rice (spicy level 3) and I had the drunken noodles with chicken (spicy level 5) with a strawberry boba tea. My husband inhaled his food within a few minutes and I still have leftovers because that spice was no joke. I totally underestimated the kick that spice would have but it was SO delicious. The strawberry boba tea complimented the food well and definitely helped calmed the heat down tremendously. Other than the fact that the food was delicious, the staff was super friendly and sweet. As many other posters have mentioned, unbelievably small portions in comparison to other Thai establishments in the area at the same price point. I've found this to be true with their curries, soups and main entrees - buyers beware. Containers seem half-filled every time I have ordered which is frustrating especially when ordering delivery and paying all of the extra fees associated with that. This restaurant has by far the best food of any asian restaurant near me; it is so fresh and so delicious. Best food, and best service. Everyone needs to go to this place, it's genuinely amazing. Love this place! This is my go to every time I order out. My go to is the pad thai but I haven't had anything I didn't like here. Also, the staff are very friendly. We ordered boba tea and waited until we got there to add the boba to make sure the texture was correct. Highly recommend their taro and Thai teas! I had a craving for pad Thai and saw that Sabai had great reviews and it was conveniently located so I gave it a shot and it was completely worth it. I ordered a volcano roll and chicken pad Thai to-go. The staff was really friendly and although I wasn't dining in they offered me a glass of ice water and gave me updates on my food. It took less than 10 minutes to get my food and made the drive home so hard since I could smell the yumminess! The volcano roll was super delicious but the pad Thai was the real winner of the night. I've had pad Thai from various locations and this one is easily in my top 3 fav. I will Def Be returning again to try more of their rolls and entrees. read more

A hidden gem neighborhood spot with really fresh, well-made food. Their menu may be deceiving so this is a place where I'll order random items to try new things. The smiles things, like Rainbow rolls and salmon rolls are great, but crab Ragoon and pad see ew are sow stoppers. It's fantastic for lunch since seating is easier. Definitely a favorite. read more

This was one of my favorite Thai restaurants in town until yesterday. The waitress was so rude and every time i asked her for something she acted as if it was the most difficult thing ever. And I was just asking her for basic things like lemon and an order of edamame (very politely.) I usually always tip even if the service isn't 100%. I understand people have their days but this was terrible so I didn't. She ended up chasing me out to the parking lot, screaming at me and said it was illegal for me not to tip her. I like the pad Thai here, they can make it nice and spicy of you like (which I do!) Or they can make it not spicy at all. A special thing here is the "whole fish", I don't see this at many places. I recommend sharing if you get the whole fish because it's pretty big looking. Service is always good (it's a small place, so your waiter is always there). Place is also kept clean. My first time using Doordash app and ordering from this resto. I had a very bad experience. I ordered a Boba drink and Dynamite Maki Roll. Before placing an order it is REQUIRED to place a flavor and fruit jelly (screenshot attached) so i chose Honeydew flavor and clicked on fruit jelly which i don't like but i cannot place the order without clicking it so I did. When my order came (pic attached) there was no Boba. So i called the resto and complained if that was normal and they said I should have not chosen a fruit jelly if I wanted Boba! Then why is it called Boba drink if there's no Boba on it and the fruit jelly is REQUIRED in the app to place an order! And they blame me that I should've put in the instruction that I wanted Boba! Had I known this would happen??! They even compared me to other customers that they had their drink order right, I was the only one complained! Well there's the screenshot of the app and now tell me if I was wrong! Also the Maki was looking sickly and the texture of the rice was so bad. Let me start by saying, shame on me! I don't know what aversion I had to trying this place but my husband talked me into it on Friday night. The inside is clean, and the owner is a total sweetheart. We sat at the bar and ordered a hot sake and a Tom Kha Gai soup to start. We were also brought complimentary edamame to snack on before we ordered. My husband ordered a Chicken Panang, Thai native hot (5 stars), and I ordered a Pork Pad Sei Ew (mild to medium spicy). I always judge Thai restaurants by two things, their Panang Curry and their Tom Kha soup... The soup was probably the best I've ever had, very creamy, with plenty of chicken and other goodies to fill you up. I could easily order a cup of this for lunch and be satisfied! My Pork Pad Sei Ew came out with chicken instead, but was so delicious I couldn't be upset about it. My only hang up about this dish was that I felt that the spice level was non-existent so I would definitely amp that up next time I order. I was nervous to try my husbands Panang due to the spice level he got but it was AMAZING. We both agreed that while the 5 stars is HOT, it wasn't unpleasant and still allowed all the beautiful flavors in the sauce to be enjoyed. The food here was really yummy. I had the coconut lime soup with shrimp, spring rolls and stirfried beef with basil. The soup was good, the shrimp was cooked well, but over all I thought the soup had a bit too much lime flavor. I enjoyed the beef, it had a little bell pepper and onion and was served with white rice. I especially liked the spring rolls. My husband got the drunken noodles which I actually liked better than than my dish. I took half of my meal home and it all reheated nicely and was just as tasty the next day. I liked the decor it was fun and inviting the walls were covered with a bright tropical mural, and everything looKed clean. The staff was very friendly and seemed to genuinely care about the customers. They stopped by the table and chatted with us. This is actually our second time dining at this restaurant. We decided to come here this time because we just had an Extremely bad and scary encounter at another restaurant (Check my previous review prior to this one) As we walked in, immediately we were greeted with a smile by one of the waitress and then quickly sat us down. She was attentive and accommodating which was a plus (especially what we had just gone through earlier at the other establishment). Always love Service with a smile. After our food came, everything looked quite good. The Pineapple Fried rice was awesome. The shrimp was large size, chicken and beef was fresh and the flavors was on point. We also had the Penang curry with squid which was OK. It would've tasted better if the curry was more concentrated, because the sauce seemed a bit watered down losing the zing and creaminess of the curry. But the squid was great because it was cooked perfectly, not chewy at all. The Pad Thai was OK and the appetizers was decent as well.
