I'm always on the hunt for good food when I'm on vacation and this place hit the spot. When you walk in, you order on the kiosk and then take a seat at their small counter. From there it does take a while to get the food as there's only one cook making everything. Be sure to plan at least an hour here. The actual ramen was very good. The noodles were a bit thick for me, not the normal ramen noodles I'm used to but the broth made up for it. It's a super good, hearty broth and if you get the spicy version, has the perfect amount of spice (as someone who loves spicy food). Normally, I find it hard to find good spicy ramen (im not a fan of spicy miso) so I was surprised that I was able to get it here. Some of the best broth I've had in a while. I like the set up of the counter a lot. There's a water dispenser on the side and chopsticks, seasoning, and napkins in little tins on the table which reminds me of the ramen shops in Asia.
Ramen 369 is as close to a traditional classic Ramen bar as you can get in a place like Delray. While you first order at a kiosk, you walk into this cozy spot and sit at the bar across from the one guy making everything right in front of you. It's all high quality and homemade, with more complex flavors than you might get elsewhere. Some things are packaged, like the noodles and wontons and things like that, which is completely understandable for a one or two person operation like this. Highly recommended for the experience and the delicious food!
I love coming here the food is fresh and the staff is small it feels very quaint and personal. I usually do the ramen tokasu and add the toppings. The best little small spot in all of Delray!
This ramen was 10/0. The broth was very rich, fresh, hot spicy and just a very well mixed flavor. The service was fast and when I came here, the place was a bit empty so I got my food quick. I recommend this place.
I've been wanting to try this place for a while now. After running some errands on a rainy day I opted to eat lunch here solo. I walked in and sat down to find out you're supposed to order from screens that were in the corner. It was confusing at first as I didn't see them and I wasn't understanding what the gentleman was telling me to do. I ordered the tonkotsu ramen medium spice with chicken then I sat at the bar while I watched them make my food. When it came I didn't have napkins and asked the guy next to me where they were and he showed me the black box on the counter that had them. Anywho, broth was tasty, it was ok for spiciness so I added some sriracha on top. Wish I added an egg in it but now I know for next time. It was a BIG bowl so I brought home leftovers and hit it up for lunch the next day. Might be my go to spot now for future ramen cravings.

There's a beautiful contrast between the bustling, swanky downtown Delray Beach and the quiet interior of this intimate ramen shop. Unlike most of the restaurants in this area, this place has no frills with limited bar seating and the kitchen in plain view, but I say that as a positive because it adds to the authenticity of the place as the food does most of the talking. This is the tastiest ramen I've had in south Florida. I had the Tonkotsu Shoyu Ramen who was delicious, especially the broth which I slurped until my bowl was completely empty. Most of the other diners appeared to be regulars who would speak to the friendly older chef and Ramen 369 gained another regular in me. Highly recommend this place for a date spot because it's affordable (for the location), intimate, and in the middle of a beautiful walkable area with tons of bars!
I heard Ramen369 was the best ramen spot in South Florida from other Yelpers! I had to try it for myself. While I do not think they are the best, I do think they do a really great job. Their prices are higher since everything is a la carte. If you don't like your ramen with a lot of toppings, then that statement wouldn't apply. I've been here twice and I think their gyoza dumplings are a killer appetizer. Amazing! I have tried their spicy miso ramen and I like to add a variety of toppings in. You order on the self serve kiosk and the first time here, the kiosk was giving me a hard time when paying. They also have a self serve water cooler so you don't have to rely on their service. I like that they only have a bar where you sit up on to watch them work. It definitely worked against me the second time I came as the bar was full and I had to wait for 2 seats to open up.
A special and authentic place like no other. The chef infuses all of his energy into every single dish. Straight from origin. Vegan friendly, ramen and gyoza! Sake too, haha. Truly "support your locals" type of experience. Delightful, well balanced, invigorating type of cuisine. Big love!
Immaculate food and immaculate vibes, one of the easiest 5 stars i've had. I had a nice calm lunch here and felt welcomed and cared for. Smaller than a lot of restaurants nearby but the ramen here was delicious and both the soy egg & the porky belly gave me moments of "so that's what it's supposed to taste like"
This is GOOOOOOD authentic ramen! My husband and I are locals and typically seek out the tiny spots. This is such a great hidden gem. The owner was the only guy in there, ordering at the kiosk was easy, and he started working on our food right away. It's nothing fancy, just good food. I am gluten free, and have other food sensitivities and found eating here easy and a pleasure.

Unfortunately this was a let down. Got the pork belly and rice, it needed more sauce, plus some acid/heat. The rice was flavorless and almost watery. It seemed to me like just plain brown rice. I think pan frying some chilled white rice cubes would really do the pork belly right here. Also got the pork broth ramen...menu price is 19.50 which is already high, but when you add in a ramen egg (2$), kimchi (1$), mushrooms etc my bowl came out to $29. The broth had no body even when I tried to give it some life with sriracha, chili oil, and soy sauce. The ramen egg was overcooked as well. Otherwise, I like the setup of the place it really gives a side alley Asian ramen bar vibe tucked away. Food came fast and hot as well.
Was in Delray last week to support a friend's photography workshop at Arts Warehouse, and we came here for dinner afterwards. I have been wanting to try this spot for a while so I'm glad we took a walk over from the gallery. The inside is pretty tight quarters, but for me that adds to the experience. Food and service were amazing! I ordered the Tonkatsu Ramen (my all-time fave) with medium spice & a Sapporo beer. The broth was perfect, the Chashu pork was tender and they give you the perfect amount of noodles with the option to add more, of course. The broth cleared out any congestion i had leftover from our cold front! Definitely going spicier next time I dine in. Very small restaurant with very limited seating BUT very authentic and delicious. I never understood the ramen craze so never truly had it. When my friend recommended we try this spot, I was down. I think he had the pork belly and I had the shrimp with a lot of spice. It was cooked to perfection. They were very busy with takeout orders so it took a while to get our food but it was well worth the wait. We were able to sit and watch them make our dishes. The two employees were super nice and never even seemed overwhelmed. I would return. Note : Parking on the street is limited so you more than likely have to pay to park. read more
Delicious ramen that tastes authentic and homemade! It's a small shop that's easy to walk past and miss. Once you enter, you order from the tablet screens on the wall. About 9 stools where you watch the chef prepare your ramen and eat at a counter. No fuss interior and service. If you prefer a quiet meal, this place is ideal. We ordered: - Oxtail Ramen which was very unique and tasty (we picked medium seasoning). Added bokchoy. Will order again. - Tonkotsu Ramen with added enoki. Not as creamy as I'm use to but you can tell all the ingredients are very fresh. For such a rich dish, I didn't feel heavy later on that night. We usually order extra ramen but didn't have to. The proportions were spot on and enough for a hearty meal. Total tab was around $65 after tip and tax. We came in around 7pm - no wait - and within 30 mins the whole place filled up. read more

Our friend always mention that they love this ramen place in Delray. That if you try them, you'll have a hard time finding yourself something good as them. Well I can assure you that it was really good, I love asian food and here it feels so natural, so good. Everything is made there, chef made. I'll be back to try more food!!! read more
Finally made it here! Having been a bit disappointed with other ramen joints, I was eager to get here. There are three places that come highly recommended and this is the closest. The store is very small- a few seats inside and a table or 2 outside. I ordered a pretty standard tonkatsu ramen and added egg- and took it home. The noodles: pretty much perfect in taste and texture The broth: by far the best I've had in South Florida. Rich and fatty with a touch of heat. The egg and other accompanying ingredients were very good. All in all, easily the best ramen down here I've had so far. Now on to the other two! read more

Never ever eating here again. My food was burnt and my pork belly wasn't even properly made. This place shouldn't even be considered a place to go. Our food was inedible. We had to throw it away since it was all overcooked and dry. read more
Five stars for a taste of Japan. The authenticity starts with ordering. No servers. Choose and pay on screen first and then get one of six seats at the ramen bar. Watch as the chef prepares your meal. The portions are not super sized. I appreciated that but I can see how some would not want to pay the price. If you love ramen, it's worth it. read more

This Japanese cook is the real deal. This is nothing fancy, quick and delicious. The Japanese beef pancake tasted authentic, the dumplings were delicious. However the ramen tonkotsu broth lacked umami for me, the noodles were cooked to perfection and the egg is a must!! It's solid but not best, however I'd go any day just to support this passionate man craftsman ship. read more

This is a hole in the wall. You order from an iPad with an App that hangs on the wall. Counter seating only for about 10 people (it can get crowded). The Ramen is excellent and reasonable. They serve beer and saki. Cannot ask for anything more! read more
I've never met a person who dislikes ramen. What's not to like? Rich broth, tasty noodles, a vegetable or two, and a nice sized piece of meat. If all that sounds good to you, head over to Delray and check this place out. It's a no frills place with just counter service. Order from the tablet, pay and sit down. Food was ready in only a few minutes. I always get the Tonkatsu and it never disappoints. Portions are decent but not overwhelming and the prices aren't cheap. But it's a quality bowl of "soup" and worth it. read more

When you come across this place for the first time, you'll tell yourself one of two things...1. This is a hole in the wall...or 2. This is a hidden gem. Either way, you'll be right. This place is a hole in the wall hidden gem. It's located on a busy strip so it doesn't really make sense that this tiny restaurant doesn't really cater to in-house patrons. With a small bar top that seats about 6, there's no need for a waitstaff or busboy. You order from a iPad and the cooks hand you your food and continue on with their cooking duties. There is no proper etiquette or small talk here...it's all about the food. I ordered a miso ramen with pork belly and extra chicken. When served in front of me, it definitely looked the part...so I was wasn't upset when it tasted the part too. A strong mix of salty and spicy, this ramen was flavorful for days. I enjoyed it more and more as I slowly made it disappear. When it was all gone, I could honestly say it's one of the best bowls of ramen I've had in a very long time . So why only 4 stars and not 5? It has nothing to do with the low budget dining area. That actually adds a little bit to the authentic feel. My only issue is that I ended up paying $37 for a bowl of Ramen and a beer. The ramen was $25 and the beer was $10 (plus tax). Even for Delray, this is very steep. Especially considering that on the same street about 10 shops south, there's another Ramen place that has a much nicer aesthetic and vibe than this one. I guess it all comes down to personal preference and whether you find value in it. Personally, I'm not sure whether I would come back here or not. It's definitely worth trying but I think I'd like to take my chances at the other one right down the street and then make my decision. Maybe I'll update soon. read more

This was an OMG experience. I've not been to Japan, but this is how I imagine a small local neighborhood restaurant would be there. Luckily, I'd read some previous reviews so I knew a bit what to expect -- a tiny restaurant with counter seats (there were 8 stools), a menu posted on the wall, two computers for ordering. We navigated the computers ok. It wasn't as hard as I'd thought it would be. I knew that the ramen is made from scratch and might take some time, so made sure to order an appetizer. We chose the gyoza dumplings. The pork pot stickers were steamed first then fried on one side and were wonderful -- I'd order them again. An Asian couple sitting to our left had ordered an app that looked like fried balls. We asked and found out it was octopus fritters called Takoyaki. The chef said it was like a hush puppy when he heard us talking. I pictured a round conch fritter with bits of octopus instead of conch in a batter. It helps to know in advance what kind of soup base you like. My husband ordered the miso and I got the soy chicken broth. After choosing your broth you select the meat that goes in it. My husband had the pork belly and I chose chicken. You also can choose between rice or ramen noodles. And you choose the spice level. The computer walks you through these choices. And if you want to add to the bowl, you can select a number of added meats, an egg, or veggies for an additional price. The bowl already comes with mushrooms, a ton of chopped scallions, and red pickles ginger on top. We didn't add any items but might next time. After you finish your computer order, you swipe your credit card to pay. And then take an open seat at the counter. Your order is printed out for the chef. You get to watch him cook earlier orders before yours... as well as yours. It's like being at a private chef's table. He is a one man dynamo. There is water and cups to help your self. Tins on the counter have napkins inside. There is a big container of chop sticks. There are bottles of soy sauce, hot oil, and sriracha on the counter to use as you wish. My ramen bowl was so flavorful that I didn't add a thing. I surprised myself by eating the entire thing! And I'm sure you will too. read more

This place is kind of out of place among the other restaurants in the surrounding areas. It comes off as a hole in the wall, but is in one of the nicer parts of town. The setup is actually confusing as there are no hosts or servers, just a man who seems to be making every dish by himself. So no one greets you, just two touchscreens that you use to order. I was really confused at first because they look like POS systems that servers use to order food for guests so it would look odd for a customer to use it. There's no instructions, but it's pretty straightforward. I just wish there was a sign saying something like, if you want some food use the computer here. The seating is just a bar top, there's no tables or anything. After you order the food on the touchscreen you just sit down and wait for the food. The space is extremely limited, the place can probably only fit 6-8 people on the bar top. I would say the customer service isn't the best, I wasn't greeted or given a farewell thank you come again, but the food is some of the best ramen I've had. The broth is rich and hearty. Meat is tender and juicy. The restaurant from what I could tell only had two workers, an older Asian man who was making every dish by himself with someone helping clear dishes. It seem really ineffective because the helper was idle most of the time. My only complaint is that the food take: a while, probably because of that reason above. read more
First time trying ramen: best place ever. The broth is so well balanced with their homemade noodles. The pork was tender and sweet. I never eat mushrooms but decided not to take it from this plate, I don't know if that made a difference but probably will order it again like this. The place is perfect for a third date, but to come in a group of 4 can be kinda tight as the place only has 6 spots on the bar for you to eat. I have never gone to japan but this was like a bite from it's delicious and astounding culture. The chef and sous chef were very attentive read more

Yes. He has his own recipe and gets them done at a noodle factory just for him.
Does anyone know what's changed since Covid? Is outdoor seating now available?
No outdoor seating available, the Ramen shop has remained the same but now we have different hours.
Do they have wait service? Is there tables to sit and eat at?
Just like a traditional ramen bar, there are a few bar stools...maybe 6? You order and pay at the kiosk and take a seat. The chef prepares your order right over the bar
