Shrimp Chow Mein and Roast Pork Fried Rice

Great taste! I had it delivered to my house and it was like 15 minutes away. But when I got it, food was still super hot and the flavor was spot on. I did get shrimp chow mein, and there were no noodles. I was confused but the flavor made up for the missing noodles. Definitely recommend!

I love Chinese food but don't eat it often. Last place I used to go to lost me as a customer when their quality went down and their prices went up. Gave the Wok Inn a try a couple of weeks ago, and they are my new go to place for Chinese Food. Had the General Tso's Chicken with pork fried rice and wonton soup. Everything was hot and fresh. Good portions size, and the food tasted great. Went back a few nights ago and tried the Singapore Mei Fun (Angel Hair size Noodles). Had a curry seasoning, some fresh veggies, and chicken. Another hit. Had to get some more General Tso's Chicken with white rice this time. Another thumbs up. I ate in the restaurant both times. It was clean, service was fast and friendly and the price was reasonable. If you're in the mood for Chinese and you're near BB Blvd and Military, this is the place to go.

Wok inn is my favorite place to get GOOD Chinese food. Their combos are fairly priced and the portions are perfect. I was actually sad when I moved away from Boynton but now that I'm back it's my go to.

Excellent food, carefully packed with condiments and Togo silverware. Most likely to reorder some of the food items in the future.

Wok Inn used to be our favorite takeout place for years! Until this Saturday when we ordered our usual, vegetable Mei Fun for me and Beef and Broccoli for my hubby . How surprised I was to find instead of several brightly colored veggies in midst some yummy seasoned rice noodles a plain looking dish of rice noodles with 4 pieces of broccoli, 2 thin mushroom slices and a bunch of scallions! My hubby was equally disappointed with his extremely chewy beef, which was nothing we experienced in the past. We wouldn't mind paying a few dollars more for the same quality food but this was unacceptable

This is the same as trying to pass this turkey off as Brocolli....it is UNETHICAL to mis-represent foods

FAKE Food. Apparently, it is ok with this restaurant to sell things that are not what you think they are. This restaurant is selling Scallops that are really FAKE CRAB MEAT. I ordered by phone and was pleased that the appetizer was under $6 for 12 scallops, and assumed they would be tiny. I ordered TWO portions of this appetizer. What I received was NOT scallops at all, but FAKE CRAB MEAT breaded and fried. Gross! They tasted strange, so I pulled off the breading and the "scallop" unrolled....like FAKE CRAB MEAT, which it was. THIS IS LYING TO YOUR CUSTOMERS. It is UNETHICAL to mis label and mis categorize food. It is illegal if the "mystery meat/food causes a food allergy which I am not claiming, but one has to wonder if they are lying about one item, they are probably lying about other items on the menu as well. TAKE CARE as if something is misrepresented, you may have allergies to the actual item. Tomorrow I will call the Palm Beach Health department. If a restaurant is mislabeling foods, then what else are they doing? How do you know what on the menu is what they are saying it is? Also, the won ton soup was revolting. It was yellow and had a faint smell of urine. Not-edible. When I called the restaurant about this order, the person who took my call admitted that the Scallops are NOT SCALLOPS and said no one had ever questioned it before. She additionally said the smell and colour of the won ton is intentional because it has ginger in it. (I use ginger and it never smells like urine) I asked for a refund and I was refused. BEWARE of restaurants that lie about the food. Let's hope the Health Dept can sort it out.

We never felt rushed and had plenty of time to look over the menu before ordering. We started with the Steak Tartare, served with beer-battered smoked onion petals, truffle, egg yolk, and manchego. It was excellent and one of the highlights of the meal. We also tried the Za'atar Roasted Local Vegetables with spicy greens, feta tzatziki, lime pickles, and pepitas. It was good, but it wasn't my favorite dish. For our entrées, one person ordered the Rigatoni Bolognese with pork and beef ragu, housemade raw milk ricotta, and Parmigiano-Reggiano. It was rich, comforting, and absolutely delicious. We also ordered the Jerk Local Swordfish from Fort Lauderdale with braised Swiss chard, local radish escovitch, and jackfruit miso beurre blanc. While the swordfish itself was cooked well, I wasn't a fan of the jerk seasoning. The flounder, however, was outstanding and probably my favorite entrée. To drink, I had the Les Fumées Blanches Orange Sauvignon Blanc, which I really enjoyed. Someone else had an Old Fashioned. For dessert, we shared the Affogato with mascarpone ice cream, dark chocolate, and espresso, and it was a perfect ending to the meal. The service was attentive without being overbearing, and we appreciated being able to enjoy our meal at a relaxed pace. It is on the pricey side, but that's fairly typical for a farm-to-table restaurant using quality ingredients. There's a small parking lot behind the restaurant, and we were lucky enough to grab a spot. Overall, it's a fun place for a date night or a nice dinner with family. I'd definitely recommend giving it a try. Or if you want, they have a great bar and you can hang out there and have a bite.

I was told that in season, it's very hard to get in. It's located on the northeast corner of Military and Woolbright. There's ample parking in the shopping center lot out front. The "sunset menu" includes soup and salad, your entree, and a drink. Garlic or regular rolls, too. Non pasta entrees also include a pasta. The rolls were very good. Obviously freshly made. We got plain ones, but most folks got the garlic ones. We started with house salads -- but without onions. The salads were large. We had our choice of dressings. We both got our soups to go. One minestrone and one pasta fagioli. For entrees, she chose the combo chicken and eggplant parmigiana with spaghetti. I had their chicken Francese (3 medallions!) with angel hair pasta with the same Francese sauce. The portions were huge! We both don't have to cook for a couple days as we took leftovers home. Because it sounded intriguing, we shared their almond cake. This was light and airy similar to tiramisu, but with almond flavoring. It was delicious -- even though we were stuffed!! So glad my friend chose this "new to me" restaurant for our meet up. Great company and very good abundant food -- the perfect combo!

The staff is friendly and service was great always checking back It's pretty noisy with so much chatter from people having a great time. Make a reservation! The line to get in can be long if you don't I only saw wine on the menu. No cocktails. Plenty of parking. Enjoy!

We started by choosing our base. My husband had the tom yum (kha?) one and our granddaughter had the classic and I chose the chicken one. My base started out a bit salty, but after all the additions it was perfect -- no need to add extra soy or salt to the broth. For sauces I chose two standards -- hoisin sauce and a mix i made of some soy sauce and vinegar (which I used for the dumplings). At our leisure -- it's all you can eat -- we tried many of the offerings. We skipped most of the exotic ones -- except my husband who happens to like chicken feet. I went for the seafood first. And liked most of what I chose, especially the large prawns which were my favorite. And I also really liked the rounds of shrimp paste. The clams were tiny, but good. The blue crabs were small and awkward to eat when so hot. I'd skip them next time. I also tried some beef and pork, but found the seafood options more to my liking. Of the veggies, I had a mix just to try a number of things. The baby bok choy leaves, the cabbage, and the bean sprouts were good, but I fell in love with those tiny little enoki mushrooms. My least faves were the taro and the hard squash For dessert, they also have fresh fruit (cherries, etc.) and cake squares on the buffet. And a separate ice cream bar. I liked their green tea ice cream the best. We were so stuffed when we left. But happy campers. We felt the price of the AYCE was well worth it here. We'd definitely come again. I think it's more fun with a group.
