My first order was shrimp, lo mein house lo mein everything arrived cold with no taste and hardly any vegetables shrimp had the shells on them. Pork fried rice at three pieces of pork and old rice with stale tasted like garbage don't waste your money on this place. There are many other better places to go to. After shopping decided I needed a change of pace in this very rainy afternoon. Purchased barbecue ribs and hot and sour soup. The ribs were an excellent portion and very tasty and the soup hit the spot to warm me off since I was drenched. The help behind the counter were very helpful and kind. I debated between 3 and 4 stars... it's definitely 3 1/2...That's good to very good! We stopped here not sure if it was take out only of if it had tables to sit down at and eat in. But we were driving in the rain and decided to take a chance. I like Holly S's suggestions and since she loved their chicken moo shu, we knew it could not be be bad. As it turned out, although mainly a take out place (the phone didn't stop ringing with delivery orders) and people coming to pick up orders the entire time we were there, they have 5 large tables so you can eat in. You order at the counter. Service was friendly and they go over the order to make sure that it's accurate. They even asked what order we wanted to get our soup and egg roll. First or all our good at once? I ordered an egg roll for me and some hot n sour soup for my husband to start. They delivered both to the table. The egg roll was decent -- close to the kind I like. The hot n sour soup was piping hot in temperature and was at least 2 cups worth. It had good flavor, although my husband likes it a bit more "sour" and had all the good basics in it. The home style crispy noodles for the soup were good, as well. For our main dishes, we shared their pork moo shu and Singapore rice noodles. The moo shu had lots of thin tender pieces of pork along with cloud ear mushrooms and cabbage. It was in a very flavorful sauce so had you wanted to eat it alone with the white rice provided, you could have. It did come with three pancakes and a small container of hoisin sauce, as well. The Singapore noodles were thin angel hair pasta in a curry sauce with shrimp, chicken, scallions, and vegetables; it had a bit of a kick from the red chili pepper flakes throughout. I had to temper some of the "heat" by putting duck sauce on top. Both entrees were huge and after much eating, we still took more than half of each dish home for a future meal. I've been looking for good Chinese food for a while. Well, I finally found it. I Ordered take out last night and it was delicious. We ordered vegetable spring rolls, shrimp with broccoli and moo shu vegetables. Everything was cooked to perfection. The shrimp was plump and the brown sauce was so tasty.The only negative was delivery took over an hour but it was certainly worth the wait. Can't wait to order from here again read more

Food is reasonably good for a Chinese restaurant in Florida. I am used to New York Chinese but, I find a food pretty good.

We order on a regular basis but never on Christmas. Tonight was their busiest night of the year. The place was packed & staff overwhelmed. We waited a LONG time as did everyone else. The entire time the staff was calm, polite and handled themselves amazingly under an enormous amount of stress. Took a long time but the order was correct and was delicious. Hats off to the staff! So disappointed! We wanted to like this place but the food was definitely subpar. We ordered boneless ribs and they were literally inedible. They had the texture of dried meat and could not be chewed. We also ordered General Tao's chicken, again the texture was so chewy it was hard to eat. Fried dumplings were doughy and chewy. Everything thing tasted like it had been microwaved. The egg rolls were ok and the veg. fried rice was ok. Definitely will not go back. Unfortunately most of this $80.00 dinner was thrown away. 8 minutes ago I was extremely disappointed and do NOT recommend this restaurant to any vegetarian! I ordered the country bean curd entree. Upon picking it up I was informed NONE of their sauces are vegetarian, which is not noted on their menu. To make things worse, I was informed my the "chef" that I needed to request the sauce be vegetarian at the time of ordering and she refused to correct my meal leaving me to throw it away outside. With a stack of Chinese menus sitting in our kitchen drawer, we can never remember which places we like and which ones we don't so, we decided to go rogue last night and pick a place we didn't have a menu from. We ordered online and got a Chicken and Broccoli dinner combo and a Szechuan Chicken combo with 2 egg rolls, a hot and sour soup, and an egg drop soup. Everything was outstanding. We asked for the Szechuan chicken to be extra spicy, and it had a good kick. We also asked for extra hot mustard and were delighted to see that not only do they make their mustard in house, but we got several containers of it. Their pork fried rice might be the best chinese fried rice I've ever had. The food arrive piping hot, and very quick (est delivery was an hour, it was 35 min), everything was delicious, and our order was 100% correct. This will be our new go to for Chinese! read more

I tried this place for the 1st time last night..ordered "To Go". I was pleasantly surprised. The girls at the counter were very sweet and attentive. I ordered egg rolls, krab rangoon and country style bean curd with veggies. Everything was delicious!!! I want to go back to try other dishes before I give them 5 stars. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that Great Wok will become my new favorite Chinese restaurant. Last night it was worth the drive to Jog Road; better than most places in Boynton. read more

Not cheap but I think hands down the best moo shu chicken I have had in quite some time. I'm a sucker for the stuff (and really, who decided a paltry 3 pancakes makes sense for one order? The only way it makes sense is that for one person more than three pancakes will make you sick and have you ever tried to reheat/steam those pancakes? Can't be done, I am positive of this. Once made in the restaurant, any plebe is incapable of ever getting them to the same consistency or pliability ever again) and treat myself maybe a couple of times a year at most but this place could make it a bad habit. I got the dinner combo which was enough food for two meals, easy. My only complaint is I wasn't a big fan of the pork fried rice but I think that's because I really am not a fan of it normally. It's one of those things I think is a good idea and then I am always turned off by actually eating it so really, I need to stop ordering it and just get brown rice or nothing even. I will NEVER order from this place again... Their online ordering is a SCAM!! This is the second time I ordered online and the order stated 6:58pm... I ordered at 6:03pm.... When speaking with them shortly afterwards, they said orders are taking an hour 15 to an hour 30 minutes... Same thing happened last time... The system tells you an earlier time, then they don't deliver and say it's a problem with the online ordering system... I believe they just hook you in with a shorter time frame, then keep you hanging... It is now 7:40pm and still no delivery... NEVER AGAIN!! I just called them again, at 7:50pm... The driver still has not picked up my order to deliver it to my house.... AND, since it was stated almost 30 minutes ago that my food was package and ready for the driver to pick up, I can only imagine how cold it's going to be!!! I am vegetarian and recently discovered the amazing menu at Great Wok. We now order from there twice a week. Their tofu green curds, tofu general tso are very delicious. The vegetable Lo mien and the spring rolls are always fresh. Pick up is great but it's better to have it delivered especially since it's always fast. Definitely would recommend. read more
