The food here is exceptional and they offer their famous dim sum every day. Their roast pork ribs are meaty and tasty. I have them on my monthly grazing schedule. When you go, ample parking in mall area and full bar.

I come here often as this is the most authentic I can get that is close by my house. The food is better than most. On weekends, they push around the Dim Sum cart. Service is good but not great. Servers act bothered and don't seem happy. Always feel like they are rather rushing us out or not attentive at all. Side eye when we ask for something. I always ask for bottle water as the tap water here tastes funny. Food is good, service mediocre, and restaurant can use a bit more cleanup.

Soy sauce noodles were flavorful just right in texture with some crisp parts. Fried Shrimp Dumpling and crispy Shrimp balls.

Real Wok serves real Cantonese food! Food that you would get in Hong Kong or NY Chinatown at a Dim Sum restaurant. Best Chinese food that I have found in Southern Florida so far. Service was decent. The place needs ceiling fans or something to keep the dining room cool.

Enjoyed our lunch at Real wok, they have a limited dimsum menu every day which was more then enough for us The tofu skin wrapped dumplings, pork fried dumplings in half moons and the shumai were standouts for us but everything was really good and reasonably priced I'll for sure be back!

Real Wok is the realest wok. We have been here a handful of times now and consistently have had the most fresh and most authentic Chinese food every time. They also have kind service, the ambiance is simple with lots of tables in the restaurant, and they have a delicious menu for every pallette. By far, our favorite dim sum spot! Fresh dim sum, fresh noodles, fresh fried rice, fresh entrees, and fresh vegetables. 10/10 highly recommend for a hands-down, delicious night out. We're always looking for great Chinese food. The Real Wok is pretty good, but still not the best around. The menu is quite extensive, so there's likely to be an item to satisfy everyone's appetite. It even features a page of "authentic" Chinese food. We stayed away from that page since our tastebuds are geared toward Americanized Chinese food. Alas, even with the large menu, there were no combination offerings. (Yep, we've been influenced by those Americanized Chinese restaurants that offer lots of combos!) Happily, the waitress quickly brought the usual table-fare of hot tea and fried noodles to munch on while we perused the aforementioned broad-ranging menu. I had the kung pao chicken. It was okay, but not great. It featured plenty of chicken though. My wife had the chicken fried rice, which she liked but described as being a bit dry. She added some duck sauce that had arrived with the fried noodles, which helped alleviate the dryness issue. The chicken was cut into thin strips, which was a nice way to serve the entree. Why spend lots of time cutting big pieces of chicken while the meal gets cold? Another person in our group had a garlic shrimp with broccoli entry. It was very good. The portion sizes are quite large and we all took home plenty of food for another meal. The service was decent, although the server forgot to provide separate checks even after she had agreed to do so. Overall, a good dinner. If we are in the neighborhood, we may stop by again. The search for the best (Americanized) Chinese food still continues though.

I/We always try to visit/dine at restaurants where we know we will enjoy the food, setting and service. That is the entire purpose of dinning out. We try to steer away from one place because of the bad service and opt to try the place few streets away because we heard the food, setting and service is slightly better. And you make your way there, no matter what, to have a great time. Had I perused through the reviews for this restaurant before I agreed to go there (on March 2nd, 2024) this present review for Real Wok will not exist. From January 2016 to September 2024, there are 82 5 star reviews for RW. From February 2015 to November 2024, there are 33 4 star reviews for RW. That is 115 positive reviews. From March 2015 to July 2024, there are 29 2 star reviews for RW. From April 2017 to August 2023, there are 108 1 star reviews for RW. That is 137 negative reviews. Secondly, we visited Real Wok on the recommendation of our friends from Melbourne, FL. Before 2018, they resided in Boynton Beach and had good dinning experience at this restaurant. Hence upon their visit to our place in West Palm Beach, we agreed on their recommendation and that is how the six of us (including mom), driving in 2 cars, ended up there. Located in a small mall on Hypoluxo Road, Lake Worth, we missed the dimly lit entrance to the mall and had to circle back. Naturally the staff recognized my friend and his wife, yet the welcome was cordial, and not genuinely enthusiastic. The decor is bland and not impressive. The seating was somewhat uncomfortable, especially for my 80 something year old mom. I kept my thoughts to myself, though my wife noticed my disappointed gaze and hinted in our language "hope the food is excellent". When asked, I replied to my buddy, that I was excited to try the food. Yes, RW has an extensive menu. We deferred to Kenny to order the best. For shared starters we had 2 Fried Shrimp Dumplings (8), 1 Steam Spare Rib, 1 Egg Custard Tart, 1 Steam BBQ Pork Buns (4) and 2 Sui Mai (8). From our side the consensus was the Steam BBQ Pork Buns and Sui Mai were both juicy and savory. Each bite left us nodding our heads in approval. I am a big Shrimp dumpling fan, yet my portion was not chewy as I expected it to be. And the next round brought us to Hunan Chicken (2 orders), Mongolian Beef and Young Chow Fried Rice, served as standard portions. Yes 4 entrees for 6 people! At that point I decided to share the Hunan Chicken with my mom as I knew she was not going to finish it by herself. Once again neither my mom nor I could finish the Hunan Chicken, she took a few bites. And as we love our servings spicy, the additional hot sauces brought to the table were sub par in comparison to other hot sauces offered. And did not compliment the Hunan Chicken dish at all. Even with the food being good (the Young Chow Fried Rice, Steam BBQ Pork Buns and Sui Mai), 3.5 stars at best. The price was reasonable being that we ordered 4 entrees and not 6 (under $100). Sadly service is lacking. Common thread in all of the 1 star and 2 star reviews on Yelp. There was no engaging conversation with the server, that definitely shapes a fantastic dinning experience. The staff appeared to be uncaring, unsmiling, and rushed. We wonder why that is so! Please observe that there are 138 reviews with 2 stars or under. And 115 reviews with 4 stars and over. Hope this review aids future foodies in making their decision to dine at RW. And if they do, wish their experience is better than mine and looking forward to their reviews.

We were the only ones in the restaurant. It should have told us something. The food was interesting but very oily. Would not recommend.

Our lo mein was made with very thick noodles, a disappointment, and the won ton chips were stale. Maybe just ordered the wrong thing.

The food, I am no expert in Filipino food but I love it, this restaurant did not disappoint. We ordered the bbq chicken skewers with vinegar sauce, the chicken was juicy and tender. 10/10 My partner ordered the lechon kawali meal, it came with lechon, plantains and rice. The others ordered tocino meal, chicken inasal and another order of lechon kawali. I heard the chicken inasal was okay, the tocino meal was good, tasty and the meat had a nice crunch. I ordered the Sizzling Kare Kare meal and it was my favorite out of them all. The meat was tender, the eggplant was soft and tasty and I loved the peanut sauce. 10/10 The final order to go was ilocos empanadas, it took a little over an HOUR since they were made to order. The empanadas were good, smelled amazing and the filling plus the flour were tasty. Does it live to the hype? I'm not sure. I would rate it a 7/10. The food does take a while so be prepared.

It felt authentic, lively, and fun. I recently came back with my husband because I wanted him to try a dish I remembered being especially good -- the whole grilled squid. Luckily, they still had it, and it did not disappoint. It was just as delicious as I remembered. I also ordered the sautéed garlic bok choy, which was simple but very tasty. Unfortunately, my husband did not have the same experience. He ordered the tom yum soup with shrimp as an appetizer and the pad see ew with shrimp. Our waitress didn't write anything down when she took our order, and both dishes came out with chicken instead of shrimp. His glass of water was also dirty. When he pointed it out, she took the glass without saying a word and never brought back a clean one. She also never came by to check on us. My husband eventually had to get up and go to the register to tell her that he hadn't ordered chicken. Instead of apologizing or offering to correct the mistake, she simply said they were out of noodles. To make matters worse, the soup didn't look or taste anything like tom yum soup we've had before. The consistency looked almost congealed. He took only a few bites of the noodles and left most of them on the plate. He didn't finish the soup at all because it just wasn't good. In the end, we shared my dishes. What was especially disappointing was that she didn't even want to remove his two incorrect chicken dishes from our bill. And to top it off, the bathroom was out of order. I really do like supporting family-owned local businesses, which makes writing this even more disappointing. Between the poor service, dirty conditions, and how the situation was handled, we left feeling frustrated and disappointed. We won't be returning anytime soon.

Let's be honest, finding good Chinese food around boynton beach is no easy task.. We ordered the BBQ spare ribs, chicken chow mein, Mongolian beef, and General Tso's chicken. The spare ribs were just okay. Not bad, just not something I'd rush to order again. The General Tso's chicken and Mongolian beef, though? Both were descent and hit the spot. Overall, the food was very good, for the area! Now let's get to the most important part of this review.. When my chicken chow mein arrived, I honestly thought they had sent the wrong order. Instead of the crispy noodle dish most of us expect with vegetables & chicken, it came as a soupy mix with lettuce, celery, cabbage, chicken, a few shredded carrots, and crispy wontons on the side. I called the restaurant to let them know, and that's when I learned this is simply how they serve chow mein.. Once I realized it wasn't a mistake, I told them not to worry about it at all. But the manager clearly wasn't having that. He called me back and was determined to make sure I was happy. Truly above-and-beyond service. Even after I insisted I was fine, he sent over another dish similar to what I had wanted and wow. Vegetables and rice noodles in a spicy sauce that ended up being the best dish of the entire order. I don't even know what it's called, but I do know I'll be ordering it again. Great service, genuinely kind people, and food that keeps getting better. Sometimes it's not just about the meal. It's about how a restaurant treats you, and this place absolutely nailed it.

There were cabbage slices, bok choy, red peppers and other vegetables in with the pork. I had the cashew dish with pork. Note that I got the cashews on the side and added them in after the picture I posted. There was squash, carrots, and snow pea pods with the pork in a brown sauce. Both of us really liked our meals and took half home. For dessert, he chose pineapples pieces and I had their pistachio ice cream. There was a lot of food. And everything was done just right.
