It was worth waiting for. It had that genuine, traditional quality that you don't always find when restaurants start modifying dishes to appeal to a broader audience. And then there was the service: Our server, Mai, was wonderful. She was warm, courteous, and professional without being overly formal or hovering. More importantly, she actually knew the menu. Her recommendations were excellent, and every dish she suggested delivered. She also recommended a sake pairing that complemented the meal beautifully.
