My papa invited me for dinner tonight to the kingdom buffet. I haven't been here that often lately, but it was really good tonight. For a Friday night it was kind of empty and that makes it easier for me to get to the food without having a bump into people. The shrimp and lobster sauce on the buffet was absolutely amazing tonight. The shrimp were so big I mean literally giant shrimp. I have never seen shrimp that big at a buffet. Honestly, the shrimp were bigger than the shrimp and lobster sauce you get off the menu at a regular Chinese restaurant. The waiter that was helping us was really on time with everything. He kept the drinks coming and took the dishes away quickly. Spot on service. Overall, it was a very good experience and I really enjoyed myself. Once again I'm gonna have to say I do recommend this buffet as the best Chinese buffet in the area. read more

They had a wide selection of food on display and it all looked pretty good and freshly made, not partially empty trays and dried out food like you might see at other buffets! I can definitely see why many people might not give this place high marks. Yes the place looks wildly outdated and definitely past its prime! Yes the restaurant looks like it could use a serious makeover. If you can get past its shortcomings, go.... the price was reasonable and the food was decent. We struggled to give 3 stars --but doing so because of the value price --good service --and wide variety of food --you will find something you like -but you may have to hunt. We liked the ribs -the shrimp with lobster sauce -the spicy pork/chicken -and the palmiers for deserts. It's not winning any Michelin stars but for 17.99 for an all you can eat buffet, it definitely gets the job done. We went at 5pm on a Sunday thinking we would be the first people there but to our surprise, it was packed. Everything was good for a Chinese buffet. Great variety as well. Hard pass! While visiting mother-in-law (MIL) and sister-in-law (SIL) they wanted to come here. The rest of us begrudgingly went and the Yelp reviews you see are accurate. Best: - hot and sour soup was decent Worst: - if the food was not a grease bomb, it was a sodium bomb...just too much grease and salt - none of the shrimp (either in the peal & eat or salt & pepper shrimp) were deveined...all nasty black, crusty "veins" - according to hubby, men's room was so disgusting he had to clean up in a little to use the facilities In my years with hubby, I have never heard him say a restroom was so nasty that MIL and SIL should NEVER return. He has experience in food service and knows not everything is going to be perfect at all times but I have never heard him express disgust over a public restroom before. The food is mid at best. The Sweet and Sour soup was the star of the show. Not a large selection of foods but they have the main Chinese food restaurant dishes such as egg rolls, egg drop soup and lo mein. The Sushi was ok but bland. I am sure you will fond something that you like even if it's just the soup. In addition to the food, the service was great. The staff is helpful but the waitress tried to take my food before I was done and tried to take a whole $50 when my bill was $28. I did tip well in spite of that miscommunication. Finally, the place has a slight musty smell and the decor needs updating. However, there are two TVs mounted if you want to watch and the tables are clean. All in all, this is not an upscale place. Yeah, I did a bad thing. But I did it reasonably well. I hit up a Chinese buffet because I was super hungry today and craving random cooked meats and vegetables. I found it at Kingdom Buffet. Quite clean with masks required and all of the patrons I saw were wearing them. They have disposable gloves for handling the tongs. Condiments upon request. All staff also wearing their masks and also gloves. Short ribs, beef and broccoli, spicy pork, baked surimi with cheese, chicken and peppers, soups and more. Several options for those who don't like "Chinese" food including pizza and mac & cheese and french fries. There's even a big quesadilla on the hot bar. This was the worst buffet I've EVER been to. The plates were not clean, leftovers, and stained with other foods. The service wasn't the best, we waited like 15 minutes for are check and for them to clean are table. ALSO the sushi is RAW! AND the restaurant smelt like my 19 year old dogs breath. Also 3 TVs were smashed. And one last thing a POLICE CHASE was happening outside. I am not sure why this place has a low rating. The only thing I can find fault with is the bathroom. It's not always the cleanest but I don't go here to use it I go here to eat. This place has some of the best chicken wings. The beef and broccoli is amazing. Sushi is good not great but still delicious. The ribs are delicious, so are the clams, love those crunchy chip things next to the sushi bar. Go for the food and omit using the bathroom and you will have a great lunch or dinner experience. Went with my parents around 4pm on a weekday. First impression, not the best, it's dirty looking outside and entering the restaurant it's just dingy looking with old furniture and decor that's from the 80s. they could really spruce this place up. I was already pretty turned off before I even saw the food on the buffet. The food was a 2.5 out of 5, lots of room to improve on the quality, though perhaps that's because the prices are pretty inexpensive for an AYCE buffet. For example the food selection was plentiful, and every tray was steaming hot, but the pan fried Dumplings were burned on the bottom (all of them) pork and shrimp shumai were mushy. Egg foo young, bland and mushy, inedible. Standout items were the bbq roast pork, the salt and pepper chicken and wonton and egg drop soup. Soup was Hot and tasty. My mom especially loves their fried fish, it looked good, even though I didn't try it. There were a few chicken and shrimp dishes (I tried a little of many items, all were disappointing) why was so much of the food just drowning in sauce? Some was sautéed, some crispy or spicy but most of them were just meh. There was one tray of veggies with big pieces of broccoli in white sauce that was solid, very good! I probably would come here again because my parents like this place and it is local to them.
