I was immediately greeted and given a chance to look over their menu items. My wife had already told me what she wanted so I placed her order of Cashew Chicken with white rice, substitute the spring roll with an egg roll. I was told the order would take ten minutes. A I was waiting I saw several pickup orders come in and get their meals without delay. Ten minutes, as promised, the order was ready and I was told the lunch order also included a canned beverage. I got some take out here for lunch. They have a number of combinations from which to choose. I got their cashew chicken with white rice (you can also get fried rice, if you prefer). The meal came with a spring roll, but I was able to get an egg roll instead. The egg roll was decent with some added duck sauce for dipping. I liked the outside wrapping. The cashew chicken was okay. It was in a brown sauce. It had all the veggies -- onions, celery, green peppers, snow peas, water chestnuts and mushrooms. The chicken meat was not all white meat or cubed as it usually is. There were some cashew nuts sprinkled on top. Unfortunately, the flavor was a bit bland. I doctored it with some soy sauce and some duck sauce. I'd been wanting to try this place for some time. We did takeout from this place last night and it was the worst Chinese food I've ever had. The meat on the spare ribs were so hard it must have been recooked, and they also were fatty. Couldn't even chew them, they were so bad. The hot and soup soup was lukewarm and tasteless. The rice was one big lump. All stuck together. I called on the bill and they told me the spare ribs went up in price from $7.95 to $13.95 from the menu we had!! Will never order from them again. Wow! I saw some great reviews for this place so I decided to try it because most Chinese places are okay, but the. You feel gross after eating it. This place tasted so fresh! I had house mei fun, won ton soup and an egg roll. All of it was delicious. They use larger cuts of meat and whole baby shrimp, not like the chopped up bits that most places mix in. I ordered wonton soup, fried dumplings, pork egg roll and pork lo mein combination that come with a spring roll and 3 chicken wings. The soup had no flavor at all. It was little more than hot water with chopped scallions and tiny little won tons. The spring roll was greasy and the lo mein / fried rice was tasteless. This is the best Chinese in the area we have found so far. I am loving the lemon chicken. It is good quality chicken, so crispy with the right amount of breading to chicken ratio, with the lemon sauce on the side, so no soggy mess. The egg drop soup is spot on. My husband has had the honey garlic chicken, which was also great. Most recently, he got a beef dish that he did not like. I forget which one. And I have to say, it is just about the worst fried rice we have ever had. Ever We have gotten it a couple times now. It just tastes old and gross, not fresh at all. This has been on orders for three people on two occasions. We were hoping it was a fluke, but was the same each time. But please have this be your take away- the chicken has been great! This should be your place if you prefer a chicken dish with white rice (haven't tried the white rice, but would be hilarious if a Chinese restaurant couldn't make white rice). To the restaurant: if you are reading this, fix your fried rice! It isn't fresh and I think it has too much soy sauce, or whatever you are putting in there that makes it so brown! I always get the General Tso's - all white meat, so I really can't speak to all the meals. But my hubby has been happy with everything but is also partial to the General Tso's.
