We decided to try a different place as it was only an extra mile away. Not pictured was the chicken lo mein. I usually judge a place by its egg roll. These were not crispy and the inside was bland and mushy. The Wonton Soup is your basic one. My boyfriend enjoyed his Chicken Curry. The bbq ribs were overly saucy. The meat was tender but the sauce was just too much. Chicken lo mein was also a bit bland. It is super hard to find decent Chinese food here in South Florida but I'll keep on trying until I do. Just had dinner delivered and the bone in ribs were very ruff , I called and spoke to Sandra who was amazing , she listened and instantly went to work to find a solution, with me on the phone . She came back with many solutions; I agreed to re delivery on boneless teibe, 15 minutes later the arrived and they were delivered. I called Sandra and told her boneless we're much better! I ordered a dinner to specifically get more portions but it felt as though I was served a lunch size but paying for a dinner price. The hubby and I have really been looking around for a nice go to chinese takeaway/delivery....YAY! We found it! I have waited until after a few tries to post a review because I wanted to check on the consistency. Each time has been good food and within the promised wait time. The place: There really aren't more than a couple of small tables inside so it's best to take advantage of the delivery or takeaway option here. We have been inside once and it appeared to be clean and organized. Major plus there. I don't really feel safe in that shopping center so, I truly think delivery is best. Customer Service: I appreciate the very prompt answering of the phone and as I mentioned above the wait times are always accurate. Each employee from phone to in-person has always been friendly Food: We can throw down some Chinese food but have had to order the small from here. They give you alot especially for the price. Our go to's are chicken/broccoli, chicken lo mein, egg rolls, and recently the soup. Each of these taste great and fresh. It doesn't taste like it has been sitting. It tastes like it is made to order and I think the sauce it is cooked in is the perfect amount. Like any other chinese food it can be salty but I do find it less salty than others. In a good way. I ordered thru Uber Eats which was quick and easy. Unfortunately the food was a huge disappointment. The egg drop soup was okay as was the pork fried rice. But the main dish, chicken with broccoli (which I ordered a quart of) was absolutely terrible. There was a very unusual taste to it, almost a chemical taste to it. There was no way to salvage it. It's purely a take out joint -- ignore the table and set of chairs on the left, that's really there for waiting, although if you wanted to eat your take out there I suppose you could. The food was solid, especially the chicken wings. The service was slow and a little glitch, but if you're in a pinch and need some Chinese, it does the job. Back again to re-review Red House; nothing changed except I upped the 4- to a 5-star. As far as takeout Chinese restaurants go, Red House does the food right. I always order the JUMBO House Fried Rice (chicken, pork, and shrimp) because it feeds many, or allows me to eat some delicious rice for lunch or dinner the next day. The service is friendly - I accidentally ordered the wrong size and when I explained the situation, the lady at the counter calmly fixed it for me. Now listen, I'm not saying it's a 5-Star experience, I'm saying the taste is above what I would expect from a takeout joint. :) Enjoy! read more

I ordered the sweet and sour chicken combination dinner with house fried rice. I did not receive the sweet and sour sauce so I did not get to enjoy my meal as I should have. The sesame chicken meal and dumplings were fine, but they were extremely stingy with duck and soy sauce which wouldn't have been a problem, but they didn't send my sweet and sour sauce with the meal. I don't know what has happened to this restaurant. This has been our go to for Chinese for the last 5 years but the last few orders have been horrible. We use to love the general tso but now the chicken tastes off. I think they changed the quality of their chicken and beef as we have tried other dishes where we had to throw it out.
