So I never post on yelp but I feel very strongly about doing it this time. We should have known from the moment we walked through the door.... The young man behind the counter hollered at us from behind the counter as to whether we were dining in or if we were take out. We answered that we were dining in...." Well then just sit anywhere over there. " was is hollered answer. The next two employees were very unfriendly, and seemed very put out that we were there and that they had to attend to us. The food was acceptable. The cutlery and several bowls and plates were dirty. The young man at the check out was extremely rude. Very condescending and curt. Instead of saying "yes" or "welcome," he asked dismissively, "What do *you* think?" We went in and, since it's self-service, started getting our food; on previous visits, young women had always done the serving, but this time there were only two men. Usually, the girls would bring us our drinks, but seeing the waiter standing at the far end without attending to us, I decided to go get the drinks myself. When he came over, we asked if the place had been sold to a new owner because the service had changed so much. He said no. We explained that we were regulars, but he claimed he had always worked there and had never seen us--implying we were lying. I told him what the other man at the entrance had said and mentioned how surprised I was by the rudeness; he replied, "If you're going to eat, eat; if not, leave." We had never experienced such mistreatment anywhere in the world--all just for voicing a complaint. We were in shock and, naturally, we left. NO, it's not the best decorated restaurant but I've been coming here 20 years. Always fresh, hot, delicious food; they also have a SALAD BAR so you can add that to your meal. They will cook to order if you want as well. And all the ice cream you can eat for dessert. Chinese beer is also available, I like it with Chinese food. The only thing WRONG with it is the sign when you walk in. It's hasn't been $9.99 since 2000, it's $17.95 now, but worth every penny, and afterwards I always go to Bealls Outlet and Dollar Tree, which are across the street. I really try to give businesses near me the benefit of the doubt. But, I've been to this place a good 5x's and they get worse each time!!! First off, your buffet has no business being $25!! The ambiance is mediocre, at best on a Stevie Wonder Sunday!!! Secondly, you can't keep your doors open and, 1-2 hours before closing, all of your buffet items are at the bottom of the pan. Never eat here the food taste like frost bite and it is never restocked and the people are very rude

Food is just crummy. It tasted old.. there is a paper sign inside that says the outside price is wrong so I asked how much it was. It was 1485 for dinner not 1199. There is no hibachi bar. Not much in the way of veggies except for the salad bar, which was not very good either. Go somewhere else. read more

Been going here since I was a kid. The prices are fair on the weekdays but weekends I kind of prefer going to Golden Corral and pay the same. The reviews are WHACK. This place was great. I went 1 hour after they opened, so everything was stocked and fresh. Great variety. Salad bar was great. Great dessert options. The pink jello cake is the best. Place was clean enough. No flies or bugs. I think they overcharged us because we ate so much 19.90 for lunch. Left a $10 tip, and I definitely got my moneys worth. Prolly one of the grossest buffets I've been to in a while. I feel bad saying it because I know how difficult it is for businesses during covid19, but given that, they should have at least made it a bit more presentable than usual to encourage people to eat there and feel safe. Selection was well below average compared to the typical. Sushi bar had only 4 choices, and all were vegetarian (no fish). Ok, one was imitation crab. The soups were ok. Many things tasted stale and bland. Drinks barely any flavor at all. What little they had was barely passable. The floors and basically everything was filthy. Floors and carpets. Dropped food there when we came in, still there when we left. Decor, upholstery and appliances were at least 20-30 years old. When I see carpet at buffets in 2020 I just wanna barf right then and there. Most people were not wearing masks at the serving tables, kids under 12 alone at the food tables dragging their hands all over counters. People leaving serving utensils completely on top of the food handle and all with plenty other spaces to leave it... Total misery, even by buffet standards. read more

Food here was terrible, it may be a buffet but just the first bite is enough to realize you wasted your money. From the stale dumplings and egg rolls to the rotten fruit. We had lunch there again yesterday. The food was perfection and all staff was friendly and good at what they do...they were also helpful and made sure that everything was as we like it to be. :) Do you notice that so many eateries of all kinds offer 'grilled chicken' these days? Sure you do. Well, this is the ONLY one that actually has true grilled chicken and it is just heavenly! As though the best chef anywhere just grilled it outside and put lots of it there for you to eat all you wish to eat...beautiful and with real blackened areas from the grill. Skinless and with flavor like no other place ever. If you don't go here you are missing out...we arrive about 11:00 opening time but sometimes we don't get there until 12 or even 1:00. I would never write a bad review on a buffet, or so I thought. You want the sushi it's 3bucks on top of the twelve they want. I should have spent the 3 bucks because that's all I would have eaten. They don't even use rice steamers they just let it dry out in pans. This was not a good experience. Even the won ton was tasteless. Disgusting! Everything was dirty: the salt and pepper shakers, the table, the floors! The food was old and dried out. Half the stuff didn't even have labels so you had no clue what it was. Most of the food wasn't even warm. Who knows how long the food sat out. The salad bar had a variety but the fruit looked absolutely disgusting and the lettuce was brown. Will definitely not return. Don't care how "cheap" it was, you still need to follow health codes and guidelines. YUCK!!! The staff was friendly and cleared tables fast but other than that nothing good to say. I was just commenting to my lunch mates about how good and fresh (1:30 pm on Thursday) the food was when we looked at the dinning room table next to ours and saw that there was a big stack of pot sticker meat on a plate. It looked like pork. It sat there uncovered and not refrigerated for well over an hour while we dined. It was still there when we left. Our waitress was seen handling cash and swiping her cell phone before going back to the meat mound occasionally and with her bare hands (no rubber gloves), she scooped some meat into a noodle, pinched it closed and put it on a cooking pan, uncovered. She'd wrap a few at a time and then go back to waiting on customers. Then, on the way out after we'd finished eating, we saw a man and a woman sitting at a dinning room table by the door with a pile of green beans stacked on an uncovered dinning room table. They were clipping the ends of green beans and tossing them into a wooden box. There was no washing of the beans that we could see at that stage of preparation. They seemed like nice people and the food was indeed tasty. Would I go back again? Maybe, but only if I can overlook their apparent lack of understanding for fundamental food handling safety procedures. read more
