    Pho

Poor customer service and overpriced food. The owner was rude, didn't greet us, and the pho portion was surprisingly small for the price. Very disappointing experience.

I remember this place being great. Today was a huge disappointment. I ordered hunan chicken. Pictured. Not pork, that is what he said he gave me . If there had pork in the dish I would have eaten it. No big deal. But there was no pork. I took it back to owner and showed him. He disagreed but took it back to give me the chicken. Can back with 3 small small pieces of chicken. $26 for veggies and rice. Not going back. Unfortunate, because the flavors were better than most other Chinese restaurants

terrible experience here. I went to pick up boneless spare ribs and fried rice with lo mein. i couldnt even bite through the spare ribs they were so old and tough. I couldn't even bite tell they were reheated because i couldn't even chew it, it was completely hard like jerky. what a waste of 13 dollars. then on top of that the rice was disgusting, it couldn't have been fried it tasted reheated as well. nothing was fresh. especially not the hard shrimp that was in the lo mein. I should've heeded the reviews.

Garlic sauce with chicken and tooooooo sugar sweet

The reviews were good so I thought I would try this place however the chicken with garlic sauce was over drenched in sweet sauce so the broccoli I could not eat and I had to ask for another container to strain out the sugar sauce .. usually Asian more is soy flavored than candy flavored so I never ever expected sweet Garlic sauce I was able to eat the firm vegetables that did not absorb the sugar sauce but could not tolerate the candy soaked broccoli so threw it away and ate some carrots onions mushrooms and snow peas. I was excited when I received the order with all of the nice vegetables but didn't expect it sweet so I recommend ordering everything without sugar. I would try again light on the sauce and no sugar. I also chose this place For outdoor dining but they had one occupied table so I couldn't enjoy the outdoors. Indoors is small seating area and the place looked decent but I would suggest outside at Their one table.

Very delicious Chinese food. Great service & fresh food to order! Loved their spicy horseradish mustard for dipping. Top favorite for Chinese food in Palm Beach Florida. Their fried rice is well worth ordering. Good prices & will be back soon! Cheers

We met some friends here for dinner. They come here often. They offer a mix of Chinese and Vietnamese dishes. In addition to the half dozen pho (Vietnamese soups), they have fried rices, noodle dishes, appetizers, soups, and signature dishes. I did not realize they had combination dinners until after I ordered. There are no prices on the take out paper menus (which we were given) -- only on their website. We started with an order of summer rolls. They are shrimp only here -- which is how we usually order them. They were just okay, as was the peanut sauce. Our friends got their steamed veggie dumplings and said they were very good. For our main entree, I had their Mongolian beef. It had onions, snow peas and mushrooms with the meat. It was slightly spicy. My husband had their house lo mein -- noodles with a mix of meats and vegetables. It, too, was just okay. Our friends had a fried tofu dish with broccoli and other veggies. They got the (brown) garlic sauce on the side. And a chicken pad Thai dish. This was different than most pad Thai as the noodles were in a sweet sour lime fish sauce. The bowl looked more like a soup dish. We had a nice meal because of the company and conversation. So we were glad to have come here to try the restaurant. Now we know.

Portions are very small for the price. Bland fried rice. Would not recommend for Chinese takeout.

It used to be the best in S Florida and we loved it, esp the homemade sauce. It was sold and has evolved into the worst. So sad

Grand Lake Chinese Restaurant has officially become my new favorite dine‑in spot in West Palm. The food was excellent. I ordered the egg drop soup, beef and Chinese broccoli, salt and pepper chicken wings, shrimp dim sum, and young chow fried rice. The standout dish was definitely the beef and Chinese broccoli -- it ended up being everyone's favorite. The staff were friendly, attentive, and clearly work hard to make sure every guest has a great experience. With the restaurant only about 15 minutes from home, I'll definitely be returning.

The staff is not knowledgeable about the menu, and we asked if they would make a pretty standard dish not listed and was told no without asking the kitchen. Within 2 minutes after ordering, they bring the chicken and eggplant dish which clearly isn't ours, we have to wait down another server as the kids just drops it on the table. 5 minutes later they bring another chicken and eggplant which we said we'd like put appetizers first, so they take it back once again. Eggroll: pretty small and ok Pan fried dumplings, well done: barely fried, the filling while tasty has so much filler you couldn't tell what type of meat was actually used as it was a pale light color! Chicken w/ eggplant in garlic sauce: we said no extra heat so it came out w more of a bland brown sauce, no garlic, not much flavor. Oh well...it's ok for American Chinese cuisine.
