Dine in Chinese restaurant that does a lot of take out was a surprise. We came for a casual dinner last week. We ordered at the counter, but they delivered the food to the table and we paid after we dined. There were a few other tables occupied while we were there, but yes they were doing a lot of takeout on a late Saturday evening. They have a full menu of Chinese food options, but we both chose from the all-day combinations. During the week -- Monday through Friday from 11 am - 3 pm -- they have even less expensive combos that come with a roll or soup or a drink. Our all day combinations (for $12 or $13) included pork fried rice or white rice and a pork egg roll or a spring roll. I chose their chicken with cashew nuts. It had a variety of veggies, lots of sliced white meat chicken pieces and more than ample cashew nuts. It was very good. I added some different sauces. I had their pork fried rice which was good as well with tiny bits of pork in it. I think it's supposed to have bean sprouts, but I didn't taste any. I chose their egg roll -- it had a crispy outer shell that I liked. The "stuffing" was okay -- a bit soft inside but still okay. My husband had their Kung po shrimp. They asked what spice level he wanted (1-5) and he got 2. It had a slight bit of heat in it. It had peanuts, various Chinese veggies, nice sized shrimp, and a slightly spicy sauce. He got the white rice and a spring roll. He liked his dish, as well. We both had leftovers. Good to know there's this casual option for dine in or takeout that's very reasonable with decent Chinese food. We will be back. read more

We love going here now. It is one of our favorite places. The ladies are so welcoming and it's so nice and Clean and bright and beautiful inside. We are served promptly. The ladies come over take our order and the food comes in a timely fashion, hot and fresh and delicious. You definitely can tell the difference when it's made fresh to order. We have a little bit of allergy issue so they will make everything to order no complaints no problem. It is always a pleasure to walk in there and say hello and everyone else says hello it's such a cute little place to go to. I highly recommend it. Peace out.! read more

Did take/out. No flavor in spring roll (small) or shrimp with veggies. Spring roll filling was like cream-of-wheat texture. Vegetables were nice and fresh but sauce was brown water. Pork fried rice had tiny slivers of pork with no distinct flavor. Not again. Nice friendly server. read more

This is literally the best Chinese food in Palm Beach County ever since I tried this restaurant I've been eating here at least once a week. The food is full of flavor, hot & fresh. The restaurant is clean & the person behind the counter is always pleasant. The food isn't greasy & doesn't taste stale like most Chinese restaurants. We had always loved Got Rice? In West Palm and then ownership changed, the prices went up and the food was not that great. When we read that the previous owners opened Rice? Much closer to us we were thrilled! We were not disappointed. The place is newly renovated with indoor seating, menu is pretty much the same as the original Got Rice? And the food was great! Small family owned (we assume) chinese menue featuring a bunch of favorites like honey garlic chicken, General Chous and others. My Curry Chicken was tasty and had minimal heat while my Mum totally enjoyed her Chicken dish. All of their food is MSG-free and features little to no salt, which is greatly appreciated. I'm very tough on Chinese restaurants so I'm glad to see the change of ownership here. It's already showing up in its food. This is a takeout place that recently expanded and is now a small restaurant. They don't have a liquor license, but they allow you to bring your own wine and don't charge you for doing that. The place is immaculately clean, the prices are low and the service is good. The menu is limited, but it's excellent - the chef obviously knows what he's doing and cares about the preparation. The soups are an outstanding value. This restaurant used to be called China King, but has been renamed RICE - it appears that the chef and the owners are the same as they were before. This restaurant is a hidden gem. The owners had another restaurant that we frequent often the food was amazing by chance we found them again with a different name and the food is just as great. Singapore noodles overcooked and mushy, pale color, should be a deep yellow color and spicy... hot and sour soup should be deep brown color, thick gravy like consistency, (not watered down and translucent) with large pieces of bamboo shoots, tofu, beans sprouts, shitake mushrooms... you went the cheap way, with large pieces of shredded cabbage, no bamboo shoots, a few diced pieces of tofu and cheap white mushroom tops.... help was kind, place looks nice, food too expensive especially with the lack of quality you get... was just under $60 for 2 adults and a child... read more

I did take out. The young woman at the counter was delightful. Could not have been nicer after dealing with an unpleasant person in front of me. I had General Tao's Chicken, my wife had the Orange Chicken, both with vegetable fried rice. We both loved our dinners. However the egg rolls were mediocre at best. Formerly China King, but still the same quality Chinese food under Rice! This is my go to spot for Chinese takeout and they never disappoint. Pickups are normally quick around 20 minutes and the store is always clean. Can't beat this place!! read more

I had heard that this location had changed ownership and changed to Rice. I ordered from there this evening through DoorDash. I only ordered the crab rangoon and the Mongolian beef.
