We had dinner delivered via Uber Eats. Our meal arrived quickly and the food was hot. Everything was packaged well. The Boneless Ribs were very good, and they weren't drenched in sauce, which was a welcome surprise. I would get them again. General Tso's Chicken made with white meat and prepared in a sweet and savory sauce was tasty. Next time we will ask them to make it with more spice. Still very good. The bad part about having food delivered is that sometimes items can get a little soggy. You can't blame the restaurant for this since it's not their fault. Our chicken could have had more of a crispy coating, but I have to realize that it was sitting in the container for close to 30 minutes before I even got to taste it. China Hut is highly recommended. I ordered dinner for four of us from the website. It was easy to access, use and even offered me discounts. We requested delivery at 5 PM and dinner arrived at 5 PM. We were able to use our credit card when the delivery man arrived. Our meal was beautifully packaged and wrapped in a box, everything was hot and nothing leaked. We were given plenty of sauces and egg rolls. We enjoyed our eggrolls, spare ribs, orange beef, general towels, chicken, and scallops and shrimp with vegetables. I would've enjoyed crispier orange beef with more of a kick; it was sugary & syrupy. The spare ribs will lean and meaty with the meat falling off the bones; but they were sitting in a sugary syrupy sauce. Portions were huge & prices were reasonable. There was more than enough for eight. Reheating the following day, are leftovers were a little mushy. This was by far my tastebuds most traumatic experience in their life, the so called "chicken" tastes as if they slaughtered a cat in the back and are promoting it as "chicken". I almost puked the very moment that chicken touched my mouth. The fry oil was definitely old and not clean. Whoever runs this place needs to really do a better job. Chinese Take-out Looking for, and finding, a Chinese take-out restaurant that serves good food consistently, can be one of the harder things in life. I have eaten more than my fair share of some really awful, Americanized, Chinese food over the years, so I tend to set the bar lower for this particular cuisine. Much to my surprise we recently found China Hut and well, it is definitely better than any Chinese I have had in S. Florida. China Hut completely dispenses with the concept of ordering and eating Chinese take-out in the restaurant; they have blocked the front door with a storm-door contraption that contains a food pass-through box. That's right - you order from the sidewalk or, call it in like we do. Pass your payment through the payment dish and they send the food through the box. This may sound fugazi, but it works in the age of Covid. The lady at the door is nice enough and there appears to be about 3-5 people hustling in that kitchen. The litmus test for me with any Chinese take-out, is pork egg-foo-young. It is a simple dish, yet can be easily messed up and turned into a greasy nightmare of indigestion. China Hut gets it right - just the right amount of grease, and gravy is on point. Fried rice is executed perfectly. So far, we have tried, and liked, Garlic Chicken (great), Chicken skewers, Szechuan chicken, Singapore chow mei fun and peking duck. All were very good. The other nice thing about the menu is that it is pretty extensive, and represents the different Chinese regional cuisines. The Szechuan could have been hotter but I will have to work with them so they get to know me and what we can tolerate. Prices are average and the food is available when they say it will be - so the waiting is minimal. Definitely a must-try for anyone looking for good Chinese take-out, and in my case, a regular rotation place. I've lived in this area for 20 years and while we don't eat chinese food often we did use a Chinese restaurant that did delivery. It was okay, expensive, but convenient because delivery. About a year ago we ordered take out from China Hut and were very pleased. The food was tasty, hot, and we were stuffed afterward. Our normal go to chinese restaurant was making us wait sometimes an hour to have food delivered, and even if I picked it up I had to wait, and they were an 8 minute drive. China hut is right down the street and the food is always waiting for me when I get there 20 minutes after I call. They do not offer delivery, the place has not been updated in what seems like 30 years, but the food is good, on time, and the young girl behind the counter who takes the orders over the phone is polite, and courteous. My only complaint is the price. Dinner for 6 with rice and maybe 3 spring rolls always his almost $80. Their space is smaller than a single bay and again, walking in is like a time warp. The place looks like a Chinese take out place from the 80's. It adds to the experience, I guess. All in all, out of the 3 or 4 chinese restaurants I've tried in the area, they taste the most authentic with a menu that has all the traditional items like lo mein, and noodles. NEVER AGAIN.....first the back story....lived locally for 7 years and always took and enjoyed our Chinese from China Hut....Apparently the restaurant is under new ownership with new chefs and that ownership is unconcerned about customer satisfaction.....ordered last night and received burnt egg foo young and flavorless wanton soup....My wife called to complain about the burnt food and was told to bring the food back....which she did this morning....speaking to the owner , whose English was less than understandable he informed her that was how they prepared that dish and if we didn't like it we should not order it....NO ADJUSTMENT WAS OFFERED or even apologies uttered....This owners attitude was eat here or not....So after 7 years looking for a new Chinese Restaurant ....and making it my mission to tell everyone who asks about Chinese Food to stay away from this customer apathetic, tastless food challenged restaurant.... When we ordered our food i was pretty excited and it did not take that long (30 min) but when we used to order from there about 5 months ago it took hours.but tonight the service was not to bad.mean i got the sesame chicken and it was dry and stringy in the center but the rest of my family thought there's was good and they got lo mein.that being said the egg roll was very good and the soup was ok. STAY AWAY! Happened to be shopping in the plaza and decided to get Chinese food. Went up to the door to order and it's blocked off with plexiglass with a little opening because of Covid. The plexiglass is filled with crud and all sorts of tape residue and packing tape from the dollar store making it very difficult to clearly see through. So I waited and no one came. So I took a picture of the menu on the window then went to the car and called in an order. After 20 minutes I went up to the makeshift plexiglass pick up window and there was a lady at the counter. She was looking at me and then I thought she was coming around to assist and she ends up walking away into the back. I thought maybe she was getting the food. However after waiting a couple more minutes I rang a little doorbell and there was people in the back and no one came. I must've waited about five minutes until I gave up and walked away. Figured I'd give them like five more minutes or so. So then I came back and no one still was there so we just left. The second time I rang the doorbell and still no acknowledgment nor did anyone come. As I was waiting in-between I started losing my appetite as I saw roaches crawling on the floor inside.
