We really had no firm ideas of our own regarding how to develop the backyard, but Brandon came out and gave us some really fantastic design options. After consulting with other businesses, we decided to go with Dream Green Landscape. After we explain to Brandon exactly how we would like to use the backyard, he came up with a perfect configuration that combined pebble, concrete, and succulent plants. Brandon sent us all of the potential plants we could use, but we ultimately trusted his creative vision and allowed him full reign to pick whatever he thought would look best. Brandon has an impressive crew that came out and did the work alongside Brandon. They laid irrigation, put in the plants, the ground cover, and the concrete. The final product is amazing. We love our backyard, and with Brandon's efforts, it has been transformed into a wonderful serene environment that we enjoy spending time in. Brandon warranties all plants for 6 months, and when a few plants didn't look particularly healthy, he came out and replaced all four of them no questions asked. I've hired plenty of contractors in my day, but the real test of customer service is how well they treat you after you've parted with your money. Brandon was just as responsive and customer service oriented in replacing these plants as he was in getting our business in the first place. Several of my neighbors who are considering similar projects have viewed and loved the work Brandon did in our backyard. They are currently working with Brandon on their own projects. We've been so pleased we're considering now removing the grass in our front yard and having Brandon put together a design to replace our front grass with drought resistant landscaping. I can't recommend this company enough. Brandon is a true pro and a credit to his craft.

He also gave me a much better warranty on the work he did than anyone else. The team worked fast and efficiently. And once they started, they finished within a week. I had a great experience working with Mark and Eminent Construction on my paving project…read more I first reached out to Mark in November 2020 for a quote to pave my front and backyard. Due to personal reasons, I had to put the project on hold for a while and didn't end up signing the contract until April 2022. For due diligence, I got quotes from several other paving contractors at the time. Material prices had skyrocketed across the board, and while his prices aren't the bottom-of-the-barrel lowest, among reputable, established companies, his pricing was very competitive. A couple of other options told me straight up to go with Eminent because they couldn't match his quote. Mark was able to honor his original 2020 pricing because he keeps a large inventory of pavers stored in his own warehouse. At first, I was a little worried that a lower price might mean cutting corners, but that wasn't the case at all--his work product is excellent, and so are his people. Once work began in April 2022, his team showed up right on time. Mark's guys are nice and awesome to work with, getting the job done quickly with great quality. My sister is extremely skeptical when it comes to contractors and service companies--she is not easy to please at all--but even she mentioned how impressed she was with the quality of their work. Midway through, I had several major changes, including asking him to redo the stairs, pour concrete out in my garage, add railings to the new stairs, and add custom railings to my existing front steps. Even though concrete isn't his main focus (he specializes mostly in pavers), he took it on and got his guys out here fast to redo the garage floor. On top of that, his metalworking contractors who handled the railings are second to none--the custom metalwork turned out incredible. His follow-up support has been just as solid. Recently, I noticed an issue with those stairs built back in April 2022 and brought it to Mark's attention. He didn't ask a million questions or give me any pushback--he just asked for a couple of pictures and had his crew out to fix it right away without any hassle. Finding a straight-shooting, trustworthy contractor is rare. I trust Mark completely and would recommend Eminent Construction to anyone.

I asked Robert Palacios to stop by and give me a ballpark estimate on building a short decorative wall in my front yard. I showed him an example of the look I was trying to achieve, and he made several suggestions on how it could be better. The bid was very reasonable and within my budget. During the process of the job, I asked him to bid on installing an RV driveway made of pavers to match the decorative wall. This was going to be an improvement that I would put off until later when my cash flow would be better. The bid came in at such an attractive price that my wife and I decided to take advantage of the offer. Robert worked with me at every step to arrive at a final result that complemented my property with a mix of functionality and aesthetics. Everyone that walks by the house while we are in the yard feels compelled to say how great the paver work looks. Even though some of the features that were designed in after the original bid cost more, Robert held to his original bid. This goes counter to my experience with contractors who take advantage of every upgrade to make up for the original low bid. Robert and his crew are very hard, careful and meticulous workers, never shirking do what needs to be done. All of them are trustworthy and ethical. I really can't say enough good things about Palacios Masonry. I'm already thinking of my next project for them.
