We love working with Danny. We've now hired him and his team for three projects: replacing exterior…read moredoors and repairing drywall, replacing our HVAC system and ducts, and removing two ficus trees and installing a concrete pad for a shed. His team is professional, the work has been excellent, and Danny makes the whole process easier on us as homeowners. The doors and drywall came out beautifully, during that project recommended a shade mesh above our hot tub, and installed it free of charge (great recommendation). With the new HVAC and ductwork, our house now heats much more evenly than it did before. He also replaced the large, unattractive platform under our old rooftop unit with a much smaller, nicer-looking one and did a flawless job repairing the roof around it. He's not once asked us for a change order. What really makes us recommend Danny, though, is how he handles problems. Our new HVAC wasn't working on a very hot day in August. Before we even asked, and before he knew what was causing the problem, he offered to pay for a hotel room that night and brought over an AC unit to try to cool our bedroom. When he discovered the next day that the problem was a wiring issue on his team's end, he told us directly and got it taken care of. We really appreciated both the honesty and the fact that his first instinct was to help us, at his own expense, before he even knew whether the issue was his responsibility. On another occasion, when we mentioned some very minor property damage caused by his crew and specifically said we weren't asking to be compensated, he reimbursed us anyway. We really appreciate not having to argue or chase someone down to make things right. He's also a genuinely thoughtful person. He offered to put up a mezuzah for us at no charge. Our daughter was born early the day before the tree-removal project, and Danny handled the work while we were in the hospital. The finished project came out perfectly, and he even got us a balloon and chocolate to celebrate her arrival. Those personal touches aren't something we expect from a contractor, but we certainly appreciate them. Danny isn't the cheapest, but we feel the quality of the work and the attention he gives his customers are worth paying for. He knows what he's talking about, gives us straight answers, and follows through. Beyond all of that, we just enjoy working with him. We're now preparing for our next project with Danny: finally converting our garage into an ADU. Having worked with him on three projects already, we feel really good about trusting him with this one. We would absolutely recommend him.

We had an excellent experience with Danny and My Cali Builders installing artificial turf at our…read morerental property in Thousand Oaks. What made this project especially important to us was that we managed the entire job remotely from our home in Northern California. Danny made that process remarkably easy. He communicated consistently, answered every question thoroughly, sent frequent photos and videos, and kept us informed throughout the preparation and installation. We never felt out of the loop. The quality of the work was outstanding. Their team removed the existing decomposed granite, properly prepared and graded the area, installed and compacted a base, added the weed barrier, carefully laid and trimmed the turf around curved borders and existing stepping stones, secured the edges and seams, applied the upgraded zeolite infill, and power-broomed the finished surface. They clearly cared about the details--not just whether it looks good on installation day. Danny also stood out during the bidding process. We received several quotes, and he was transparent about the exact turf product, specifications, backing, base preparation, and infill options. He did not simply recommend the most expensive upgrade. Instead, he explained what he believed was the best balance of durability, appearance, and long-term value for a family rental property. That honesty gave us a great deal of confidence. The finished yard looks great. The turf has a lush, natural appearance, the curved edges and transitions were handled beautifully, and the existing pavers, mature landscaping, and black lava-rock planter areas were preserved and integrated very well. Most importantly, our tenants are thrilled with the result, and so are we. Danny and his crew were professional, responsive, easy to work with, and clearly took pride in doing a quality job. Managing a major landscaping project from several hundred miles away could have been stressful, but they made it straightforward and reassuring. We would absolutely recommend My Cali Builders to anyone considering artificial turf or outdoor improvements. They earned every one of these five stars.

The situation was disappointing and frustrating to say the least, so I took matters into my own hands and called LA Concrete Works to see if they can fix the job for me. After reviewing the job and settling on a final start date, I could already see that this team was exceptional at what they do. Joe was communicative, ready to answer any question, and very lovely to work with - he is very detailed and came to visit the site often despite their busy schedule. Sydney at the main office was so understanding and a rockstar at keeping me up to date on the plan of action. Luis, Jose, and the install team were courteous, neat, and most of all extremely competent - they know what they are doing and they do it really well. In the end, I got the exact floor I wanted and was able to work with a team who listened to my needs and made sure I was happy with the work. Francis (Falanisi) is truly knowledgable, fair, and professional. He was extremely responsive and genuine, and guided me through the entire process to ensure we achieved my desired outcome. The curb sidewalls leading into my driveway were extremely high and wide making it very difficult for vehicles to pull in and out without damaging their tires and/or rims. Francis was able to suggest a cost effective and reasonably priced option, and then completed the service and work expeditiously, as promised. The pictures were taken right after, but now that the driveway has been washed down, you can hardly tell work had been done. The driveway looks amazing now, and allows for vehicles to comfortably pull in and out without damaging their tires and/or rims. I received a call from Mark AKA MOSHE RIBOH the owners from a cell number (818)970-0795. On the phone he seems to be very professional and very accommodating. I explain to him that I want it to refinish my hardwood floors before I move in and in addition I was painting the house. I was very clear that this need it to be done in time for my move on July 31, 2014. The original call took place 4 weeks before the death line and we met 10 days before. Once in the house Mark seems to be an okay man, he is over 55 seems to live in the area and had great reviews on Home Ad visors web site. Once at the house he told me that the floors could not be sanded down and refinish, however he could buff the floors and apply a new coat of Polyurethane and I was going to be 97% happy with the work. He mentioned that same of the scratches were too deep and most likely they were going to still be visible but the floors will look great and once again I was going to be 97% happy. The process took less than a day, he had two Hispanic guys working on the job, his only crew I find out latter. In addition I find out that they are acting as sub-contractors but they have no insurance or license and Mark the owner carries no workers Comp insurance ( all after the fact) I immediately notice two things, 1- the floors where way to shining and the smell was very, very bad. I questioned him on the two issues and he said that the shinning will go away once the floors get to dry and the smell will dissipate also. Three days later the painters moved in, Mark the owner of Finest Flooring Inc., told my painters that they need it to use special tape otherwise the tape will damage the floors. The painter got the special tape as per Mark's instructions and proceeded to do his job (great paint job, I will be writing a great review on them) We immediately notice that the coating applied by Mark and his crew was peeling off, yes Pilling Off like you peal a banana. I immediately call Mark and told him to come over and take a look, he come over and said that he need it to bring Alex ( the guys on the workers crew) I told him they need it to finish it and he said ok we will be back once they are finish. I said the crew will be finish by Thursday you need to get here right away I have movers coming on Friday. Thursday they didn't showed up, I call him and he Mark (his real name is MOSHE RIBOH) Said we are delay we be there at 7 pm. Long story short never showed up on Thursday, they were supposed to come in on Friday at 6.30am. 6.30 am come and went, they arrived at 7.30am, at that time I told them to remove this material from my floors, they started sanding the floors and that making big marks bellow the actual top wood coat and into the sub flooring. I immediately stopped them and asked for my money back. The end of the report is: My floors are ruined, they need to be replaced, at a cost of $15,000.00, Mark AKA MOSHE RIBOH is unresponsive, I have filed with the California State License Board and I am awaiting their response. Do not hire Finest Flooring Inc. Mark AKA MOSHE RIBOH phone numbers 877-427-6888 or 818-970-0795. License number CSLB 946308
