One of my favorite memories from The District Tap actually started with a shirt…read more We were sitting on the patio overlooking Georgia Street on a Fever game day when a couple walked by wearing one of the coolest Caitlin Clark shirts we'd ever seen. We complimented it, asked where they found it, and before we knew it, we were chatting with a wonderful couple who had traveled all the way from overseas just to watch Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever play that night. Moments like that are one of the reasons I love Indianapolis on game days. The patio was the perfect place to soak it all in. Fever fans filled the sidewalks, kids proudly carried homemade signs, and there was an excitement in the air that only comes from a city rallying behind its team. We could have people-watched for hours. Our waitress was exactly what every server should strive to be. Friendly, relaxed, and genuinely fun to talk to, she somehow mastered the art of appearing right before we found ourselves looking around for her. We never felt rushed, but we also never waited for anything. The food held up its end of the bargain too. The fried mozzarella disappeared embarrassingly fast and earned a solid 9.3 on my unofficial stretch meter. Crispy on the outside, perfectly gooey inside, with a marinara sauce that was every bit as good as the cheese itself. The chef salad was fresh, generously loaded with toppings, and easily big enough for a meal. I honestly couldn't tell you what beer I ordered... Because what I remember most is the experience. Sharing appetizers on a sunny patio, meeting fellow basketball fans from halfway around the world, and watching Indianapolis come alive before tipoff. It reminded me that sports have a funny way of turning complete strangers into friends. We'll absolutely be back the next time we're headed to Gainbridge.

This is a great place to have fun with friends and family! Good drinks, good food, great fun! I've…read morebeen here twice. On our first visit, our 3-hour long visit was spent entirely in the Karaoke Suite with food, drinks and good music. On my most recent visit, we made the rounds. We started off in the restaurant portion of the space. We sat down for a proper meal of fried mozzarella sticks (appetizer), followed by shrimp tacos for my sis and I had the shrimp bao buns. Any place that serves bao buns holds a special place in my heart. Service was fast, which I was a bit mad about at first. I hate it when the appetizer and entrees all come out at once. But before I knew it, it was time to check into our karaoke room. We rushed to box everything up and skipped over to check-in. Much to our dismay, the room wasn't ready. So, to the bar we went. We sat at the bar to have our second (of many) Lemon Drop Shot (delish). We booked the room for an hour, but I'm almost certain that we were in there for two. We were told that a server would be sent over, but I wound up having to flag one down. She was happy to have us...we're a good time! So is PBS! We then went to play jumbo jenga in the back area of the space. They also have ping-pong, pool, connect four, arcade games and bowling.

We had a fantastic time at Punch Bowl Social. 5/5! What really made it was the service. The games are affordable, which makes it easy to bounce around and try a bunch of things, and we especially loved pool and bowling. Our bowling got stuck on a few occasions, but the staff was consistently quick and willing to come fix it, so it never became a real issue. If anything, it showed how on top of things they were. With cheap games, a fun mix of activities, and a genuinely helpful team in a great downtown location, this is a solid pick for a group hangout or a casual night out. Would absolutely come back. 5/5.
