Tammy did an amazing job on my nails she was very nice great service!! Everyone in the salon was very friendly and welcoming

Tammy did a great job on my builder gel. She was so efficient and helped me pick out the perfect color, which is sometimes so hard to do. I'll definitely be back! read more

I called in the morning to make an appointment for 3 pedicures & a fill. They told me we could come in at 4:15 for our appointments, which we did. They were running about 20-30 minutes behind which they communicated to us however - i do feel like that was a long time to just be waiting. The issue really came in when 1 of the employees messed up my daughter's toe & she was asked to fix it & she had an attitude and was so rough. Listen - if you don't want to work with people or have someone speak up for their selves because they're paying for a service, you shouldn't be in customer service. I think it's pretty simple. 2nd of all, the prices they hit my daughter with for her fill was ridiculous. It was a simple French with a. Flower & they wanted $105. Unheard of. Literally unheard of. I am convinced they didn't wanna do her nails, furthermore when they first provided the price i was pretty vocal that the price didn't match what she wanted & then they walked away & never circled back to see if she wanted something different. This was only to be discovered when she was sitting there waiting to show them a different picture and waiting on someone to come help her. The other issue being that they were talking about us the entire time. Honestly i usually don't care, but i had my mom and daughter with me. This was our first and last time here. The girl that was in the front was very polite and kind, i do have to be honest with that. It's very unfortunate because we were looking for a new salon as this was closer to home. However - first impressions matter & them talking bad, not following up or even trying to be helpful - is so disappointing. I would have given it no stars if i could have. We all work hard for our money & in this day & age, i would have liked to have enjoyed the time i spent away from home to "treat myself". read more

My daughter went in for a simple French tip manicure. She researched the cost beforehand, but they completely took advantage of her and charged $110. She's 14 -- this was very deceiving and disappointing. We won't be back. read more

I took my daughter to RYU nail bar after finding them online. She wanted a specific nail design she saw from a picture. Minh Minh filled her nails and ended up creating what I thought was even better than the picture we showed her. Minh Minh's attention to detail is exceptional! It was okay. I was paired with a nail technician that was previously mentioned for not doing the best job. My gel-x was not filed symmetrically and nail paint did not cover the entire bottom of the nail. There was a lot of glue applied between my natural nail and the gel-x to where it gave an appearance like the nail is bending backwards instead of laying flat. For the price, I expected more. read more

NEVER come here. Their quality, service and materials are HORRIBLE. I came here for my wedding nails. I was so excited to come here after the reviews. We had an appt and still had to wait for 15 min to even get seated. Then, they started doing my nails and I asked for white ombré. The lady was trying to get the machine to work for 45 min and then it didn't work so she started stamping my nails and it was truly the most horrible thing I've seen in my life. Mind you at this point I had been at the salon for over 3 hours. They also still charged me. Don't waste your time. Go somewhere else. read more

Booked a same-day nail appointment through the phone and couldn't be happier with the results. I don't usually get my nails done, so I'm not as familiar with the artificial nail types. Minh helped me figure out what was best after showing her an inspiration photo. She was able to recreate the same nails!!! I appreciated the attention to detail throughout the whole appointment. read more

I had such a great experience at the salon for my builder gel appointment with Minh Minh. The space was super clean and had a calm, welcoming vibe. All the girls there were so sweet and made me feel comfortable right away. Minh Minh herself was wonderful--she's friendly, gentle, and clearly confident in her work. You can tell she really takes pride in what she does and wants every client to leave happy with perfect nails. Her mom helped with my cuticle care and was so gentle and professional--it felt like I was in the best hands the whole time. Another huge plus for me is how easy it is to book online--it made the whole process smooth and convenient. Highly recommend if you're looking for quality nails and a relaxing experience! read more

I got my hair cut and styled today with Minh and it turned out beautiful as always! I've been getting both my hair and nails done by Minh for a while now and she is tbe only person that I trust to do either. She is incredibly thorough, detail oriented, and is honest!!! She's helped me take better care of my hair ever since I started seeing her too. Her prices are very fair and her work is consistently high quality. It's been so amazing to be part of her business journey and her salon that she's opened with her mom is gorgeous, clean, and relaxing. I cannot wait to continue supporting her for years to come :) read more

My wife made pedicure appointments for us on a Saturday. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted, and I could tell the staff recognized my wife right away. We both ended up getting the deluxe pedicures. My big toe had been bothering me, probably from letting it grow out too long and wearing running shoes but the technician took care of it, and it hasn't hurt since then. There was a short wait, maybe about 10 minutes past our appointment time, but the receptionist was super friendly and kept checked in on us, and offered water while we waited. Since it was a weekend and I used to worked in the service industry before, I understood how things can run a little behind. While getting my pedicure, I noticed the salon was clean and organized. Staff cleaned up after each client before moving on to the next, which stood out to me. Overall, I was very pleased with my experience at RYU Nail Bar, and I can see why my wife is a regular here, highly recommended read more

First of all, Minh's place is so charming and luxurious. The service was amazing, you can tell that each and every nail tech is talented. I was lucky enough to have my nails done by the owner herself. Minh was amazing, sweet, and really took her time to give me the nails I wanted (it looks even better than my reference picture). There's no way I could go anywhere else for nails. The prices are fair (20% off your first time too) and the service is just out of this world. 10/10 would come back read more

I've been here before for a pedicure and had a decent experience, however today I went in for a gel manicure and was convinced by the worker to get builder gel.. boy was that a mistake, these chunky gel nails look terrible! She didn't do any type of actual manicure service. She just started filing my nails, then putting the builder gel on them. And throughout the whole time during my so-called manicure, she was on her phone or watching something on her phone in her lap and wasn't paying attention at all. This is the first and last time I will ever get a gel builder manicure there. For $65, I expect for them to maybe do a basic manicure. read more

I'm not one to write bad reviews, but this was honestly one of the worst pedicures I've ever had. For $60, I was really disappointed. The ambience was great, the salon was very clean, and the nail tech was professional and sweet that's why I still gave her a tip. However, the actual pedicure itself looked terrible. I'm not picky at all, but the job was not neat. My nails aren't evenly shaped, the polish wasn't cleaned from around my nails, and the polish looks blotchy. I get pedicures/manicures every 3-4 weeks elsewhere but I was looking somewhere closer to home. I saw all the good reviews and had high hopes but I won't be back. read more

Great service and a clean environment! Bring your favorite nail design because they are so talented and can do it !

I was a returning customer, tipped well. I WAS IN HERE 42 MINUTES AND ALL THEY MANAGED TO DO WAS REMOVE MY BUILDER GEL AND SHAPE MY NAILS. I come in for my appointment on time and still had to wait 10 minutes for my manicurist to start. Checked in for my 3pm appointment at 2:59pm or 3 on the dot. Then in the middle of my appointment they pull my manicurist off to fix someone's eyebrows. I personally went up to the owner to mention how this was inconvenient and she just sends me to her daughter who just says sorry and there's nothing they could do. Would give zero stars. read more

absolutely loved my gel x set here! came in for the first time with a pinterest photo for inspo (that was missing a few fingers lol) and pari nailed it. she designed the thumbs, one ring finger, and a pinkie herself and made it all look perfectly cohesive. i was so impressed :') we modified the chrome accents (originally silver), as well as the shade of green, and ended up with a set that was totally me and unique!! she was super communicative and made sure i was comfortable the whole 1.5 hours. the design was intricate but she worked quickly and carefully. pricing was $60 for short length + $60 for the design. the overall vibe in the salon was great too everyone working there was kind and welcoming, and there was a group of friends getting pedicures next to me just chatting away. it felt warm, friendly, and relaxed. i get the sense that you can show them any design and they'll make it happen. already excited to come back! ty for the most perfect birthday set!!! read more

I made an appt for a mani/pedi at 3pm. Spent almost two hours here because that's how long it took from start to finish ( an hour 45 mins to be exact). Kim did my nails and took so long because she had trouble painting on flowers. I asked for regular mani but she kept telling me to do a gel version so I agreed. When she was struggling to paint the flower on my nail, I told her to let's just forget about it because by now it was like the fourth or fifth attempt, but she kept reassuring me that she can make it look nice. Then I moved into the pedicure massage chair and Tammy did a great job. I assumed they would start mani/pedi at the same time or close to one another so that the services overlapped but that wasn't the case with my appointment. I will still come back because Tammy did a great job but I will try Pari for manicure instead. Second visit: Took a day off and came middle of the afternoon and was able to get my mani pedi at the same time after telling them it took way tooo long last time. Smooth sailing so I go back for a third visit. Third visit: Made an appointment for 4:30 for mani pedi with Kim and whomever was available. It was packed when I got there at 4:20pm. I was told I would have to wait about 15 mins. I didn't get seated until 4:48. I picked a color but then the brush on the bottle was missing. I pick another color but the color in the box wasn't the one I picked. I pick another color and the same thing happens three more times. By now the tech is annoyed because the staff aren't putting the nail polish back into the appropriate boxes so the colors are all mixed up. Kim starts my pedi and I assume no one is doing my mani so I guess I'll just forego it. After my pedicure was finished , Kim says she's going to do my manicure. I reluctantly say yes because I honestly didn't want to spend two hours there. But since Kim said she would do it, I say okay. Well Kim leaves and another lady does my nails. I didn't like her job at all but said nothing and paid and tipped. Ended up here for two hours again. And my lower back was killing me after this. $30 for a basic mani and $40 for a basic pedicure and they can't even do it at the same time but tell me they can do it at the same time then I show up with my appointment and there is zero management of who is doing what etc. I'm going to take my money elsewhere. So don't come here unless you have 2 hours minimum to get a mani pedicure or book only 1 service at a time. read more

I got a fill on my hands (with builder gel because I had gel x already) and a pedicure with gel polish! Tammy and Paris were both so amazing. Both were very sweet and I greatly appreciated how they both were encouraging me to relax throughout my time there:)) My nails came out beautifully and Paris matched the color I wanted from one photo I showed her! The detail in both my hands and toes was much appreciated and I loved how pampered I got to feel. I will definitely come again when I'm in town! read more

Love this place! Very clean and sweet people. My go to spot in Dublin. I highly recommend coming here.

I would give 0 stars if I can! The staff is RUDE. We called to mention the nails were lifting and does not look applied correctly. In the middle of talking, the staff member ended the phone call. When trying to call back multiple different times, the salon would no longer answer. Seriously, it looks like the nail tech TAMMY was blind or had no experience whatsoever. I am TRULY UNHAPPY with the experience from getting my nails done to speaking with staff, it was really HORRIBLE! For context, this is a completely new set of nails. Tammy removed my old set and applied new tips and design. Leaving the salon, I notice there are GAPS BETWEEN THE TIPS & NAIL BEDS on most of my nails. The tips are separating from my nail beds! There are unpainted nails poking out on the sides, that should have been filed down and shaped with my nails. THEY CHARGED $125 FOR THIS SET OF NAILS! Please reference to the video attached to this review. This is what $125 will get you at this salon! Good luck asking if they can fix their own work! read more

RYU Nail Bar - Gel X amazing service! Worth the drive from Walnut Creek. Salon is clean, staff is friendly and quiet but cozy vibe. - Nail Salons Near Me - Dublin, California

I rarely leave reviews, but I feel this is important to share. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was not welcoming. The salon was not clean, and there was an unpleasant odor that made it hard to relax. Instead of creating a calming environment, all you hear is constant chatter among the staff, which adds to the uncomfortable atmosphere. The pedicure was also very disappointing. They advertise a massage, but it's barely even a massage--just a few light touches that felt rushed and meaningless. Overall, the experience was not worth it, and I will not be returning. It's frustrating how difficult it is to find a clean, relaxing, high-quality nail salon in the Tri-Valley area. Unfortunately, this was not it. read more

Recently came in on a Sunday and while they were still booked with appointments, they got me in super fast! The owner's mom did my nails and boy was I lucky!!! She saw my cuticles needed some tlc and offered to touch them up. Brought a nice warm bowl with gold glitter flakes and a wrist pillow. And even when I was breaking my neck to look at my phone on the side of me she picked up and place it perfectly in the middle. Small things matter and she was attentive to make sure I had the best experience in every way from comfort to quality. Coming back in two weeks for my birthday set and to get my balayage touched up! They really do it all! read more
