The pins needed to hold up the shelves are missing. Isaiah told me they were in my old home office tape together in a ball. I went back there and found nothing anywhere I looked. Afraid to sleep on either bed that they reassembled. I removed the photos and changed the rating because Jerome from Moving ahead did an excellent job of correcting all our issues. I view the measure of a company not only on the original work but how they handle any issues that occur from the move. Moving Ahead Services did an excellent job correctly every issue we had. I recommend this business.

They never returned my deposit or explanation of them leaving. Later on down the road I received a phone call from them wanting to negotiate for at least my deposit back. They did not give me my deposit back or apologize for their wrong actions in handling it. Movers were all very friendly and only two items were broken. They notified me right away. Most of…read moremy things were heavy so they did a great job on moving them in a timely manner. However, the movers were an hour late and showed up with an extra person than I was not originally quoted. Which is fine, if it doesn't change my quote, but what I was charged ended up being expodentially higher than what I anticipated based on the quote. Especially since I moved a majority of my items before they arrived. I had most of the items already ready and took apart and put together my bed itself. I even assisted helping move what I had left by loading the smaller items in my car. I moved most of the items before they even arrived so they had really only had the heavy/bigger items that I couldn't take myself. There were also 30 minutes I couldn't even find the movers, even after calling them. I had moved 6 minutes down the road but it took them over 30 minutes to arrive. I had driven back, double checked they got everything, locked everything up, came back to the new place, and still waited another 15 minutes. So they were off somewhere unknown to me. This also lowered my trust in their service. When I asked for an itemized receipt so I could double check how I was being charged, I never heard from them again. If you do decide to use this company, you should know that the quality is excellent because they take care in how your items are moved, their professionalism and communication is great but you may hear them complaining if items are heavy. I think the funniest comment I heard from them was "Everything is heavy Up in this Crib". I would recommend ensuring someone is there the entire time to ensure you track when they leave and when they arrive at the new location and have them itemize the receipt before sending you the bill. A vague receipt won't do to make sure you aren't overcharged.

They assured me they would be fully prepared and that everything would fit in their truck. On moving day, after the truck was nearly full, they told me that several of my belongings--including a solid wood antique dining table and a bookshelf--wouldn't fit. They offered no solution at the time. After delivering the rest of my items in NC, I asked for a discount since they hadn't completed the move. They refused, but then offered to go back and pick up the remaining items, store them, and deliver them when they were next in the area. Over the next several months, I followed up repeatedly. They eventually offered to replace the table instead, but stopped responding when I proposed a reasonable replacement amount. I still have not received the undelivered items or any compensation. This company breached its written contract and has refused to resolve the issue. I've filed a complaint with the FMCSA and am sharing my experience publicly so others can make informed decisions.

I asked them to load and I did drive the truck to my out of state destination. I messaged the company just to let them know that I had a couple damaged pieces. Their guys didn't use the pads I provided them, whatever. Wasn't going to leave a review at all, just wanted them to know. Whoever answered got super defensive and pretty combative so here we are with the review. They keep letting me know they aren't liable for anything. Like cool, I'm not trying to get any money. Just letting you know, as a business owner, what went down. Incoming is a super defensive response saying I didn't provide furniture pads or whatever. I predicted the super defensive response! They are lying below. I had pads. 2 packs of pads in the back of the uhaul. I said there were more in the basement if they needed them. One of the guys definitely asked if I had an S.O., said something about my toes (weird) and some other stuff. I'm obviously not going to say something while by myself with them standing right there. I tried to keep this just between me and the owner but here we are slinging mud. Best to stay away, lots of drama. Btw - the exercise bike had wheels and they agreed to move it before I signed the contract.

They will also hand you a "contract" that they believe to be legally binding, however it will be handed to you last minute and you'll be told to sign or they will leave. My advice is to review how toxic the owners responses are, take a picture of the u-haul they rent's license plate, and request verification of their "insurance and bonded" paperwork. What you do after they damage your belongings is call u-haul. They will provide you with all of the information directly. You then file with YOUR local magistrate under a civil matter. U-haul will have that on file and easily hand it to you :)

Trustworthy and dependent. That's really all there is to describe my experience…read more I had a second hand Civic that I sold to my friend close to Glenshaw. As a parting graduation gift for her, I decided to just give to her for a really cheap price. The only problem we had was how the heck can she get it since I live in California. That's where the beauty of Kerb came in really handy. I was literally up all night looking for ways to bring the car to her and even considered driving the car myself and spending the weekends. But Kerb Movers were really quick to respond and practically beaten every other competition. Their deals for shipping couldn't compare to others plus they offered insurance that the car would get there safe and sound. See, even if my car was older, they gave me that sense of comfort that it will get there. I am not hard to please. Awesome customer service and good pricing must come in tandem and I think that is enough for an A rating. I would gladly recommend this moving company.
