Avoid this company at all costs. I had a terrible experience and believe their business practices are deceptive. I was quoted $380 for a 4-hour move, including the truck. However, after the move was completed, I was charged $655 -- with no clear explanation. On top of that, they broke my desk during the move and showed no responsibility. When I initially scheduled the move, I spoke with Charles, who advised me to book directly through their company (not U-Haul) to save money. I specifically asked whether I needed to provide a truck, and Charles assured me that a truck was included in the $380 price. I booked the move for 9/20/25 at 9:00 AM. The movers showed up at 9:00 AM but said they had not been told to bring a truck. They left and didn't return until around 11:00 AM -- with a U-Haul truck. The move was completed at approximately 2:15 PM, and I was suddenly charged $655. When I called Charles to dispute the charge, he admitted I had been overcharged and offered a $45 refund. He then told me they had added $250 for the truck, even though I was originally told the truck was included. I checked U-Haul's rates myself -- I could've rented the same truck for just $45. To make matters worse, when I tried to pay the movers via Cash App, a warning popped up saying the number I was sending money to had been reported multiple times for scamming. Consider this a warning: DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They were dishonest about pricing, unprofessional in communication, broke my furniture, and used a payment method flagged for fraud. You risk being overcharged, misled, and having your belongings damaged. read more

The day before I needed help moving I contacted Pro Packers (on a holiday no less). I got a call back a short time later and the plan was in place. These guys busted their you know what getting my 5 bay garage loaded in a efficient and we'll done way! They arrived ahead of time and provided an absolute value for the money! If you care about your time and your stuff, I do NOT recommend them. I hired them to move only the large items. They showed up 8hr late and screwed up my plan. while moving the stuff, they broke my 75-inch TV. They assured me that their insurance will pay for the damaged item but when I contacted the insurance they said it is not covered. Initially, Charles promised that he will pay me but after several months of ignoring me and 100 calls, he agreed to pay me in $50 installments. He paid only three installments and then stopped. Booked with Charles a month in advance of our move in date. A security deposit of $150.00 was requested at time of booking and paid via Zelle. We received a text confirmation of the scheduled moving date and time as well as that the deposit was received (see image 1). On the day before the move, I called to confirm again. I called over 12 times over the course of the day with no response and when I tried to leave a voicemail the box was full. On the date of our move (as confirmed by Charles himself), no one showed up and I receive no communication. After multiple attempts to reach Pro Packers by phone call and texts, I was still unable to get in touch with anyone or leave a voicemail. To date, I have received no communication regarding the return of the $150.00 deposit I paid or any explanation from Charles about what happened. I have submitted a report to the Better Business Bureau as well as the Federal Trade Commission for the scam that this business is. I am also posting this review in hopes of preventing anyone else from booking with Charles and wasting money. Thankfully, we were able to find new movers same day. read more

I talked to a few different movers before I decided to call Pro Packers. I found them on Yelp and they gave me a good initial quote. Once I talked to Charles over the phone I knew that this was the moving company I wanted to use. Easy going but professional and great price. I couldn't believe how much lower their quote was to everybody else. With Pro Packers you rent the U-Haul or thy will rent it and bring the truck with them but it is added to the bill. For us it was easier for them to rent the truck. Too many things were going on. We used them twice in the span of two months. They moved us out of our house to an apartment and then to our new house a few months later. The guys were great. No problems at all. Very polite and professional. They were quick, hardworking, and I have no complaints. If you are looking for great movers at a reasonable price call them. read more

I've never had to hire movers before and I was so stressed as to how it would go. But they were so helpful and chill about everything; they didn't make me feel pressured or rushed at all. They got all my furniture in and out and set up nicely in my new place. I had rented a UHaul for the move and my friend was going to drive it since I can't; the friend wasn't able to make it last minute and the movers were very accommodating with driving it for me. Terrible experience. Movers came 3+ hours late. We have a less than 1,000sqft house that needed to be moved and four movers took 3.5 hours to move everything. It made us late for meeting our other moving company at our new location. One of the movers mentioned that he had pneumonia and so, not only did he put us at possible risk for contagion, he was also on multiple medications and even fell asleep on the job (both in the car and in our house). We booked the movers for two hours (per the recommended time based on sqft and other factors), and we were charged extra for the time they went over. We thought this was unacceptable due to the aforementioned circumstances, and called to have them refund our extra time back. We've yet to hear back from them or receive the refund. read more

READ THIS REVIEW before considering this company - I originally used this company about 6 weeks ago and had no issues with them, so much that I referred them to someone else to hire. For having a good personal experience with them, it was the complete opposite situation the second time in hiring them. The staff sent for this move were incredibly unprofessional and very careless. They didn't bother to strap in a shelving unit after they were questioned about it, resulting in the unit falling on a very expensive Snap-On toolbox causing damage. The fact that the damage occurred is one thing, but they tried to hide it and weren't going to say anything about it. After the toolbox was unloaded, it was dragged across a concrete garage floor and along a cinderblock wall causing more damage. Several phone calls with the owner to review the damage and overall situation yielded a somewhat fair solution by way of a nominal discount but if you value your items being moved in the same condition you started them with avoid this company. read more

So unprofessional. We were assigned this company via U-Haul and the moving time was changed four times. The first time, we booked it for 8a on Saturday. The day before, they moved it to 1p. 1p rolls around and no one is here. We tried calling over and over and when we finally got through they told us 4p. When 4p came there was nothing. We called and called and again they rescheduled until 8a the next day. The next day comes and no one will answer the phones. When I finally got contact with someone at 1p they were extremely rude and abrasive for me leaving a review saying that they took our money (which is what I believed happened, $500 was deducted from our account for ProPackers). We were ghosted for five hours and had to scramble to find new movers. This was the worst experience with a moving company that I have ever had and I do not recommend them to anyone. I understand that rough times happen, however when you run a business it is imperative that you communicate with your clientele. read more
