For about a year and a half it worked great, then the power button started to fail. I called C Crane "customer service" and the women very politely told me "I'M SORRY, THERE IS NOTHING WE CAN DO FOR YOU!" No repair! Np replacement! No refund! I took my chances and got screwed! NEVER AGAIN!!!

    We started buying radios from C Crane in 1996. We started with a model that later became "the c…read morecrane radio". We later bought a hand crank radio. Then about 10 years ago (maybe a bit less) we bought the Wi-Fi 2 . We used it to replace the old clock radio in our bedroom. It offered us the chance to catch our favorite shows through Wi-Fi when our local AM & FM stations were preempting them with sports. In 2023 it died. First we lost the Wi-Fi stations. We learned from c crane that the service it used for Wi-Fi went out of business. Not long after, it stopped working altogether. We got ourselves a Wi-Fi 3 radio for Christmas. Come to find out it has NO RADIO function at all. So we lost our main use of such a device in that location. We can't listen to the delayed internet feed in the bedroom when our bathroom (actual) radio is on at the same time. It isn't delayed because it's A RADIO. How can they legally call the Wi-Fi 3 a radio??? About ever other night we have to unplug this thing and plug it back in to keep the channel going. Otherwise it cuts in and out for long periods of time even when we turn Wi-Fi off on all of our phones, tablets, and computers. Which is a nuisance to deal with. We never had this problem with the 2. So, we are highly dissatisfied with the Wi-Fi 3 "radio". One star. Their service when you call them is 5 star. We have been reasonably satisfied with our previous purchases so overall 4 stars. From the start, I spoke with Chris who helped me pick the right system. They programmed everything and when it arrived, all I had to do was plug it in and it worked great for over a year. A few weeks ago lightning struck the bridge on my house and destroyed it. I got online and started chatting with Chris on their website (their chat is so great!!, allows them to help me without being stuck on the phone). Well Chris was able to pull up my original order and program me a new bridge for just the house side since that's all I needed. It was shipped promptly and once it arrived I had some trouble setting it up. I again reached out on their website chat and Chris immediately helped me get it up and running. I'm super happy with the product and support I've had on several occasions. I think people need to understand that with a tech based company, they are busy all day helping customers so they are not able to just answer the phone and jump right on the phone to help you on the spot. Go to the website, get on chat and explain what's going on and they will help you. If it requires a phone call, they will call you as soon as they are finished with the previous customer and help you. Their products are also far superior to anything else you can buy on the market. I'm thrilled with everything I've purchased and also the customer service and support. I'll use them in the future!

Emerald Appliance responded quickly, the service call price was competitive and fair, and I was able to book an appointment that week. Blaine came prepared with parts and all the tools needed, and was able to get my washer working quickly. Blaine was professional, knowledgeable and kept me informed on all aspects of the repair. Being fairly new to the area, I was happy to have found someone I could trust to come into my home and fix my appliances when needed, and for reasonable rates. Recently, I had problems getting my new range oven to light. Again I called Blaine at Emerald Appliance. and just as before, I was able to get an appointment within a week. Blaine came out right on time, checked out the oven and was able to locate and fix the issue. I truly appreciate the communication and professionalism. This guy knows his stuff! I highly recommend Blaine at Emerald Appliance for all your home appliance repair needs.

I was charged $366 to fix my dryer yet it remains broken. Before the technician, Blane, left I expressed it was still making the same loud noice it had been making before his attempted repair. I got drawn into paying a little more than I expected, but was willing to do this for a repaired dryer. It took a 2nd visit to determine the problem was really more extensive than he initially thought. I was given an additional estimate that it would potentially cost $361.00 more to fix my machine. I was astonished that the total cost to repair my 22 year old dryer would be $727. This is a complete cost of a new dryer. I would have appreciated to know the full cost to repair my dryer before investing $366. I ended up buying a new dryer because I don't trust Emerald appliance or Blane. I really wanted to keep my old dryer working, but I cannot trust that investing more money in Emerald appliance will actually solve my problem and yield a working dryer. They were polite in hearing my concerns, but in the end were not willing to refund any part of the value I initially paid. I requested a refund of all or part of the additional $165 labor fee I was charged to end with a broken machine. I was informed the only offer that could be made was a discount on future service. This was not satisfactory to me because I don't trust they will repair my dryer or any other appliance in the future. I will not be calling them again, ever. Buyer beware.

For cell service I chose the same. $100 for installation of OPTIMUM equipment plus monthly fee about $60. I was happy. I also joined OPTIMUM for cell service. I was NOT happy...bad customer service, they transferred me gawd knows where to someone who barely spoke English! So after 4 days, I went to VERIZON showroom in Fortuna, and changed only my cell. During this first couple weeks of September, I'm listening to the playoffs for baseball WORLD SERIES! The Dodgers could do it again! My ROKU TV is good, but no playoffs! Now I'm with VERIZON for my iPhone. They said "One of our PERKS for you is FOX ONE including sports!" But it wouldn't load on my phone or TV! Over ten days, as my Dodgers got into the WORLD SERIES and played seven games...I was on the phone with Customer Service, Supervisors AND even Tech-support, no FOX ONE!! The last day of the World Series (and my Dodgers won) I was on the phone for FOUR and a HALF HOURS!!!! No game.... So soon off I went to a new phone provider! I checked US CELLULAR on Yelp, AT&T on Yelp...not great reviews. When I checked T-MOBILE not one review??? Zero nada! That could mean only one thing to me! NO COMPLAINTS!! So I went to T-MOBLE in Fortuna CA. (Chase and Cicely) took a friend too! She got phone service for herself and a daughter too, PLUS NEW iPhones too! I got phone service for my phone, same number I had for 20 years and Star-link (satellite by Elon Musk) for WAY LESS than OPTIMUM! I'm almost 80...NOT a Techie...and left there with new cell phone service and a little box to take home and plug in! Oh by the way, the so called PERKS at VERIZON? Are only for a few months! At T-Mobile they are permanent!!! PLUS I got a FIVE YEAR PRICE guarantee! In writing! The monthly service is less, for both cell and TV and much less! That matters to me in a time when EVERYTHING is more expensive!!
