I was trying to ask the attendant behind the counter if they had gotten in the nicotine free vapes I was told they were getting in last time I was there, and if she could recommend a non-menthol flavor as some on them have names that don't necessarily imply menthol but are menthol. I never got out a single complete sentence. Every time I tried to ask a question I was interrupted with, "Refills are on the third shelf." and "What you see is what you get." and then immediately started helping the person behind me in a much more polite and friendly manner. I was kind of taken aback and just googled it. I guess I could have done that the whole time, just thought asking would be quicker but I was clearly wrong. After I chose a new vape the other attendant behind the counter was nice enough to hear me out and said he could request some of the non-menthol flavors his vendor carries next time they place an order. I'd maybe get it if the place was slammed, but there was only me and the customer behind me. Not sure what was with the drastic attitude change from my first visit. Maybe they were just having a bad day but idk why that means I should get my head bitten off for asking a question about the inventory. ‍

Theres a range of singles spanning all sets, and a good selection of quality supplies which get restocked regularly. All the singles are based off the mid price from TCGplayer.com, unlike Starcity which most other places use (and which means the prices are significantly lower). The supplies are MSRP priced which means you can avoid horrific price jacking which tends to happen at other LGS. His trade in rates are fair and his boosters are very competitively priced. Plus its next to Masaki's soooo delicious food and magic cards. Since this shop has opened, I've bought from other shops in the area twice, only to get items Lost Coast hasn't had in for a while due to distributor issues. There really is no reason to go elsewhere. Only complaint off the top of my head is that the store is cash only at the moment (the shops i still fairly new and he's working to set up a debit system).

Not wanting to wait until I flew home and risk losing it, I stopped in to Ferndale jewelers to see if it could be repaired. The owner greeted me warmly and when I explained my situation, she said that it could be repaired. Then I dropped the news that I actually needed it in less than a week. She said that she would have it done that afternoon! And the kicker - for less than $50!! Unheard of in NYC!! When I handed her my ring, instantly she knew the specifics of my setting and stone. At that point, I was 100% confident that my ring was in good hands. I picked it up this afternoon and my ring looks as good as it did when my husband proposed 10 years ago!!
