Not wanting to wait until I flew home and risk losing it, I stopped in to Ferndale jewelers to see if it could be repaired. The owner greeted me warmly and when I explained my situation, she said that it could be repaired. Then I dropped the news that I actually needed it in less than a week. She said that she would have it done that afternoon! And the kicker - for less than $50!! Unheard of in NYC!! When I handed her my ring, instantly she knew the specifics of my setting and stone. At that point, I was 100% confident that my ring was in good hands. I picked it up this afternoon and my ring looks as good as it did when my husband proposed 10 years ago!! Those two gentlemen saved us literally thousands of dollars and possibly a delay of our construction!
