Lady was very nice when we walked in and out. Prices were a bit high I felt but it's ok since I didn't really see anything I needed to buy.

A Timeless Detour into Treasure and Nostalgia-…read more I hadn't planned on stopping. I had a list, a schedule, a mental map of where I needed to be and when. But sometimes, life has a way of nudging you toward the unexpected, and that's how I found myself standing outside an old-town antique shop, its window display cluttered with relics from a hundred different stories. The bell jingled as I pushed the door open, and instantly, the air shifted. It smelled like history--aged paper, polished wood, and a whisper of something familiar, something comforting. Shelves bowed under the weight of forgotten treasures: old vinyl records, glass bottles that had once held someone's favorite drink, and pocket watches long overdue for winding. I wandered. No rush, no pressure. Just the quiet joy of discovery. And then--there it was. A ridiculous, fantastic, utterly perfect cheetah (or maybe leopard?) print watch. It caught my eye like an old friend waving from across the street. Something about it--bold, nostalgic, and completely unnecessary--made it impossible to ignore. Two bucks. A steal. Done. And just when I thought my little side quest couldn't get any better, I spotted it. An unopened, untouched Roy Rogers radio record player, still waiting for someone to press play for the very first time. It was a piece of history, a portal to a simpler time, and I knew I couldn't leave without it. It was one of those moments that sneaks up on you--a completely unplanned detour that somehow becomes a core memory. The kind of experience that makes you want to come back, not just for the things, but for the feeling. Next time, I'm bringing my family. They need to see this place, to feel the wonder of it, to lose themselves in the charm of forgotten treasures and stories waiting to be rediscovered. So, here's my encouragement to you: let yourself wander. Interrupt your schedule. Step inside that odd little shop you always pass by. You might just find a ridiculous watch, a piece of history, or even a part of yourself you didn't know was waiting to be found. -A Content and Charmed Man

(We purchased many items). We're so glad we did! We have had so much fun being part of this store. Crystal and Aaron do a wonderful job running a tight ship and keeping everything clean, organized, and running smoothly. One thing I really appreciate is their policy of having shoppers place purses and larger bags in lockers while they shop--and even the vendors follow the same rule. Honestly, I enjoy not having to carry my purse around while I browse! This is definitely not your typical secondhand store. It's clean, well organized, and filled with individual vendor spaces offering a great variety of quality items at reasonable prices. I still love wandering around to see what everyone else has brought in because there's always something new to discover. We love being part of 4th Street Mercantile and hope we'll be vending here for many years to come!

We come here often for the jewlery jars and vintage style inspiration. As a regular customer, I appreciate the locker policy for keeping my belongings safe and allowing me to shop hands-free. These vendors and employees work hard to upkeep this amazing store and prevent vendor losses. Shop 4th Street Merchantile first for all those special people on your list, or to find something fabulous for yourself. A walk through this place is one of my favorite forms of self-care.
