Love this place. Good rotating selection, thrift store prices. The staff are friendly and helpful. I go here at least once a month.

This is probably the coolest , and sketchiest antique store in the county. First of all, it's one of the last in the county, but it's a cross between a thrift junk store and an antique store. This is a frequent place for homeless and tweakers, but they usually leave you alone if you don't engage them. The prices are ridiculous But how else would they stay in business . Very interesting stuff , if you can get past the smell of stale weed and coughing homeless folks. We lost a cheap, albeit important bookshelf during a recent earthquake. I found a beautiful, solid wood one at Anglin Second Hand. She gave me a post Christmas special of 50% off and graciously agreed to hold it for a week while I found transportation. I called as soon as I found a handyman to pick it up and the young lady on the phone quickly confirmed our info and had it ready for him as soon as he arrived! My late dad loved their store and now I can see why, their awesome and unique treasures are almost as awesome as their kind & professional staff! I highly recommend Anglin!!! read more

This store is really neat and has all kinds of unique stuff from books to antique tools and furniture. I really liked this store for its eccletic mix of goods. Lots of neat antiques china, jadeite, milk glass. Also has a lot of practical and affordablestuff for folks just starting out like used silverware, glassware, dishes, pots, pans, furniture, sheets, beds, tvs...you name it, they have it. The staff are knowledgeable, helpful and friendly but will leave you alone if you just want to browse. (Alex is my favorite) Prices are clearly marked and the store is organized by type of goods. I needed a few 7/8" wrenches, and they had a whole box of them, many were $1. Just about any hand tool you need, they've got it. Way better than Harbor Freight. They also have plenty of furniture, army surplus stuff, guns, general antique/junk shop stuff. Go check em out. read more

This is one of the best second hand stores in all of Eureka. Owner Ken has always been polite, professional, & been offering me great deals since 1990. I've bought couches, chairs, file cabinets, tools, & lots of vintage hardware. This place is going on 4 generations now, they know what's up. I love this place! read more

I've forgiven them too many times for their blatantly rude, aggressive and demeaning employees, and over priced shit that has LITERALLY been on their shelves for YEARS but has never been marked down. I transfer my out of state firearm purchases through them. Affordable FFL transfer fees comparable to what the small kitchen table FFL's in the community charge. Convenient location right there on Broadway. I've found some really cheap fishing equipment there and you have to drop in from time to time like any pawn store or second hand store because stuff comes and goes. You never know what you might find that you need or stuff thats just plain interesting to see. read more

WE LOVE going into this store every time we go to Eureka. Every time we go there is something new to see and buy. My husband purchased a pair of Cubic earrings as a present for $10.00. When I opened the box to take them out to put on they were 14K gold and I wear them all the time with no worries if I loose one, oh well. We have purchased furniture also. we've been shopping at Anglins for over 10 years and always find something we can't live without. I was looking for a medical book for 8 years and wandered in one day, low and behold there it was on the shelf. I've purchased throw pillows for $1, doggie blankets for $1, candles, linens, on and on, the bargains are there, just take your time and look, can't find something that's there, ask one of the helpful, friendly employees, they're always busy, but never too busy to help. read more
