This is a frequent place for homeless and tweakers, but they usually leave you alone if you don't engage them. The prices are ridiculous But how else would they stay in business . Very interesting stuff , if you can get past the smell of stale weed and coughing homeless folks. Definitely worth checking out if you are looking for something specific because they have all kinds of weird old stuff .

The selection is truly impressive, from literal Victorian clothing, to 1970's disco jumpsuits. My daughter found a gorgeous dress with a black tulle skirt and red satin rhinestone embellished sash for only ten bucks! But the real star of the show was the girl who worked there & I wish I'd gotten her name. She had short dark hair & was the sweetest, most wonderful young woman. She couldn't have known how much her kindness mattered, but it did. We have just moved here & my daughter is having a tough time, worrying about whether or not she'll fit in or be happy here. This salesperson was precisely the kind of person my daughter admires and we talked briefly about anime and video games and...maybe it didn't seem like much to her, but it meant a lot to us.
