Mid Century Humboldt is the ultimate vintage mid century modern furniture store around our area,…read morelocated in old town. Between 2nd and 3rd at C street. This is a small independent shop with a great selection of true vintage mid century furniture, at very competitive prices. The owners are very friendly and personable, and extremely knowledgeable of the time period and what constitutes true mid century style. Sleek lines, with a minimalist look, beautiful real wood finishes and true craftsmanship. Not anything like the cheap particle board knock-offs they make and sell today. This is the real deal. Recently acquired a set of matching danish solid wood nightstands that are just beautiful and paid much less for the real deal in comparison to the knock-offs I had been looking at - like almost half the price less. I was expecting to pay much more for real wood and true vintage, the prices are very reasonable by comparison. Well worth a visit and stop to shop, and feels good buying a true vintage product and shopping locally supporting a great small business. 4.5 stars - rounded up for the great customer service experience. Will be back again. 00440

There is usually a decent selection of furniture and miscellaneous household items - most everything I looked at was again at full resale. As well, the book section was more resale than thrift priced. There are bargains to be had, but you will have to search a bit more - I have always found a few items each time I've been in and knowing my money supports the local hospice - makes paying a bit more for some items okay in my book.
