I love Ruth's Chris and was in Anaheim for a work conference and definitely had to make a stop here! We arrived right at 4 PM not realizing that they opened at four and they were already a few people outside, which shows me that this is a very popular spot! We immediately found seats at the bar and we're so impressed with the upscale decor and atmosphere and just overall great vibes of the entire restaurant. We were greeted right away by a very, very friendly server name Sheena and she was attentive, helpful and had a wonderful personality. Sarah was also working and constantly checked on us and was friendly and we really enjoyed our experience with them waiting on us. They have an amazing happy hour here that starts at four including some discounted, cocktails, wine, beer, and selected appetizers sandwiches and other menu items that are at a great discount discounted rate. We ordered the spinach dip which was very flavorful and so great and split a large fillet with the macaroni and cheese with lobster. I cannot stop dreaming about how amazing the lobster mac & cheese was, and the steak was cooked to absolute perfection and cut like butter! out of this world! and always the consistency that we expect from Ruth's Chris! The bathrooms were very clean and we also saw that they had an outdoor patio that we may check out next time we go. We had a great experience overall, and the only thing that I wasn't super thrilled about was that we were forced to valet park for $12 (with tip) and there was literally no other parking options. The valet parked our car two spots away in a previously coned off area that actually was public parking, so that would've been nice if we could've just self parked there and walked the 3 feet into the restaurant. Went here to celebrate our anniversary. They really have the most impeccable service. From the greet staff to the doorman to the weight staff, they are incredible. There was a nice three for $60 meal that we tried a petite fillet with shrimp, aside and a dessert. All that food for 60 bucks for this place is really good. We recently hosted an event at Ruth's Chris Steak House, and overall, it was an amazing experience from start to finish. A huge part of that was thanks to Jordyn, who handled the event planning. She was incredibly friendly, responsive, and helpful throughout the entire process. From the initial planning stages to execution, she made everything feel seamless and truly brought our vision to life. Everything matched exactly what was discussed, which made a big difference in making the event feel special and stress-free. The food was outstanding--easily one of the highlights of the night (and worth mentioning twice). Every dish was high quality and well-prepared, and our guests couldn't stop talking about it. The decor was elegant and elevated the overall atmosphere, and the setup itself encouraged a more interactive and engaging experience for everyone attending. The staff on-site were also friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout the event, and the drinks were just as impressive as the food. Another detail we really appreciated was the flexibility of being able to drop off and store the cake the day before, which made day-of coordination much easier. There was one minor hiccup with timing. We had discussed being able to access the room at 6:00 PM to begin setup, even though the website states 6:30 PM. However, we weren't able to enter until a little after 6:30, which made things slightly rushed as guests began arriving and had to wait briefly. We wanted to try a new steakhouse in celebration of my wife's birthday and were not disappointed. The restaurant itself is a breeze to drive to, not too far off of the freeway and is on the main road, but the driveway can be easy to miss if you're not looking for it. The parking for the restaurant is valet only, as it shares the parking lot with the Courtyard hotel. We arrived a bit earlier for our reservation, but were seated almost immediately, as the restaurant just opened for the evening and was just starting to fill up. The outside of the restaurant looks just as good and clean as the inside of the restaurant. there was plenty of room to move around, so you definitely don't have to worry about bumping into people or tables every time you get up. The restrooms were very clean as well. Our servers were very friendly and prompt, so we hardly waited for any beverage refills. When I made our reservations, I did indicate it was for a birthday, and they definitely took note of it. We loved the customized menu and the birthday confetti, as it made the day that much more special. The bread service is complementary and simple, so you're not getting a variety of bread that you won't eat. We tried their Passion Fruit Martini and a non-alc version of their Blueberry Mojito. The martini packed a good punch, whereas the mojito had the right amount of tartness. We chose the three course for $60 deal and ordered a New York Strip. The french onion soup was very savory and the salad was huge! Sadly, we felt that we weren't able to fully enjoy the freshness of the salad as much as we wanted. The entrees and other sides came out very shortly thereafter, and we felt a bit rushed to eat the hot foods first, pushing the appetizers to the side. The stuffed mushrooms were amazing, and are definitely good when they're nice and hot. My wife did like the brussels sprouts, but was underwhelmed by the salmon and shrimp, as she found the salmon a bit dry and the shrimp was very peppery. The New York strip was cooked to a perfect medium. Our night was rounded off with their cheesecake (option for cheesecake or creme brulee on the three for $60 menu) and in honor of the birthday their chocolate cheesecake. Both were delicious! Overall a solid steak restaurant in Orange County. We've been here a few times for dinner but our most recent visit was for a family holiday party in their private room. The food was fantastic. It was fresh, tasty, and came out hot off of the grill! The seafood platter was really good. The sweet potato casserole is like candy...yum! The main entree portions were good. Service was top notch as well. From the hostess to all our servers, everyone was friendly, smiling, professional, and welcoming. It's not easy serving 50 people at once but they were efficient and on top of it. The one negative was parking. The only option is valet which is $8 for cash and $9 for credit card. The parking lot is literally right next to the restaurant so it's not like the valet guys have to walk a distance to get our car. Our car was parked a few steps away from the front door but I had to pay $8 for that. After spending over $100 per person, it seems a little greedy to charge for parking. It is my opinion that in this day and age of most restaurants resorting to serving "sysco-slop" to save costs, high end steak places like this one are worth saving your money for and one should totally skip the mid-range chains This place is a "chain" to be fair, and owned by Darden's, a conglomerate, but its food and service quality are better than many high end independents. As far as quality of steaks goes, this place is top notch among the all the places I have tried in OC. They also split the portions nicely so if you don't have a huge appetite it can be cost effective to do that. If you need a reco, try any of the rib eyes done medium rare -- you wont regret it I have never had any issues with them, and even once recently, when I wrote a feedback regarding one of the appetizers not being up to their usual quality, I instantly got a call back the next day and as a courtesy they refunded the amount of that particular dish How many restaurants do that? In fact, how many take their reputation and customer service this seriously ? The ambiance is also great with high ceilings and open atmosphere, very eager to help wait staff. We always go to this Ruth Chris for Thanksgiving dinner. This year the same. Always a good meal. The server Coory was great. Very good at making sure we had everything. The Cesar salad was great as usual. The turkey was also great. Gravy and stuffing. The sweet potato casserole and green beans are always a good choice. My husband and I have been going to Ruth Chris since we were early in our dating years... so we only found it right to do a private gender reveal at the place we love to celebrate at! Shaleen took one of our phones to record the reveal brought to us. They decided to make two little cheesecakes and decorate it with strawberries and blueberries (boy vs girl, so cute). And when we cut into the dessert, it revealed our baby's gender! And then they brought us mocktails the color of the gender right after! It's cooked perfectly to medium rare with a flawless crust. They serve it on a 500-degree plate and provide 2 sizzling hot plates with butter on it so the steak can stay juicy. Every bite was melt-in-your mouth! Lobster Mac and Cheese - 7.3/10: A bit underwhelming. It's on the blander side and one-dimensional in flavor. Not bad, but probably wouldn't order it again. Apple Crumb Tart - 7/10: A solid dessert but a little dry. The ice cream helped balance it out, but I wish we had known how large it was since the complimentary cheesecake was more than enough for us.
