I don't give out too many 5-star reviews, but I have to give credit where credit is due. This location definitely earned all five stars from me! First off, parking was easy. They have valet right in front of the restaurant, so we didn't have to deal with searching for parking. When we walked in, they asked if we had a reservation, which we didn't, but luckily there was no wait at all and we were seated right away. The ambiance was really nice, at least from my view since I was facing the bar and all of the beautiful decor. We were greeted almost immediately by a staff member, and shortly after that we met our server, Tyler. Tyler was very pleasant and helpful throughout the entire meal. I especially appreciated that he was honest with his opinions and took the time to explain some of the most popular items and give us his personal recommendations. We started with the stuffed crab mushrooms, and they were delicious. We also each had two Mezcal Palomas from the bar, and those were really good as well. For dinner, we both decided on the 3 course meal deal. It starts around $60 per person, with the option to pay for upgrades, and I actually thought it was a pretty good deal. Of course, the regular menu has a lot more selections, but if you want to enjoy some appetizers and drinks and still have a full meal, this is a great way to go. I chose the filet with shrimp and upgraded my 6 oz filet to the 8 oz. I'm so glad I did because that filet was amazing, it was tender, flavorful and cooked beautifully. I'm actually going to say I liked the filet here even better than the one I've had at their Pasadena location. Hats off to the chef... So, I had the salad for my starter which a really good portion too, while my boyfriend chose the French onion soup and had the stuffed chicken for his entrée. Dessert comes with a choice of chocolate cheesecake or traditional cheesecake, so naturally we got one of each. But I'm a dessert lover, so of course I couldn't stop there. I also ordered the chocolate molten cake. The molten cake was okay, I've definitely had better. If you're a chocolate lover, it's not bad by any means, but they have other dessert options that I would probably try first. Tyler also recommended the bread pudding and crème brûlée. We ended up getting a sample of the bread pudding, and next time I'm taking Tyler's advice and trying the crème brûlée! From start to finish, we had an amazing experience. Even the couple sitting next to us added to the night, we met a really nice couple and ended up having some great conversation with them. Top notch steakhouse! What a wonderful dinner from beginning to end. Ruth's Chris delivered exactly what I hope for from an upscale steakhouse: exceptional food, a beautiful atmosphere, and service that made the entire evening feel special without ever feeling stuffy. The service was outstanding. Everyone on staff that we encountered was genuinely nice, helpful, and welcoming. What impressed me most was how down-to-earth the staff were while still providing attentive service. They had that rare ability to make you feel like an important guest. We had a nice casual dinner at the bar at this Ruth's Chris location. We were staying next door at the Courtyard Marriott so the short walk over for a nice meal during football playoffs was great. My Niners were playing so I was glad to be able to watch them on tv while dining at the bar. I ordered the steak sandwich ($23) which turned out to be a staff favorite so that was a good choice, I was told. This was sliced filet mignon with bernaise sauce on garlic bread served with fries. It was tasty and just what I was looking for. The lady ordered a prime cheeseburger ($21) with LTO, cheddar cheese and fries on the side. Fries on both orders were perfectly well done, as ordered. We also had their signature calamari ($26). I normally dont like pre-dressed with a drizzle calamari but the one at Ruth's Chris is always so good. Their chili sauce just goes so well with the lightly battered squid. The complimentary bread and butter was also good. The lady ordered an espresso martini ($17). She liked that. We came here for Happy Hour for a good deal but the Happy Hour prices really aren't much different from the regular prices. It was still $16-19 for light entree. Never been to a Ruth's Chris' before, I've heard about its history how it was an affordable place for people to get a steak dinner, well it isn't that anymore. No draft beer, only bottled. We have the steak sandwich and burger, food was good. Service was very attentive, a little too much perhaps but the place was empty only bar patrons for HH. Prices need adjusting. I joined a coworker for an impromptu dinner at Ruth's Chris Steak House in Anaheim. It's no secret that I love Ruth's Chris but the chain consistently hits the mark with the great customer service, the delicious quality meats, and the vibes. The parking is valet only - and at $9 in Anaheim, it's a steal. The lot is small but since it's valet, we didn't have a problem getting in. The host immediately sat the party and our waiter, Warren, immediately greeted us with drinks. Warren checked in frequently, was extremely helpful, intuitive and very polite. He never hovered but was always there when we were low on drinks or needed accompaniments. A portion of our meal was comped by the location operator, Ryan, and that was a pleasant surprise. Having visited many Ruth's Chris locations on the West Coast, this one surprisingly is my new favorite. We had the filet, shrimp, steamed and creamed spinach, sweet potato casserole, the porterhouse, and lobster macaroni and cheese. Came by Ruth's Chris for a date night with Hubby. It's been over a decade since we last visited Ruth's Chris. We got the $60 menu both with a ribeye instead. I got a french onion soup to start off with (soup was salty), a side of mashed potatoes which were okay, and a chocolate cheesecake which I found delicious for dessert. Hubby got a caesar salad which he thought was really good, creamed spinach which he thought was not bad, and a classic cheesecake which was alright for dessert. Went here to celebrate our anniversary. They really have the most impeccable service. From the greet staff to the doorman to the weight staff, they are incredible. There was a nice three for $60 meal that we tried a petite fillet with shrimp, aside and a dessert. All that food for 60 bucks for this place is really good. We wanted to try a new steakhouse in celebration of my wife's birthday and were not disappointed. The restaurant itself is a breeze to drive to, not too far off of the freeway and is on the main road, but the driveway can be easy to miss if you're not looking for it. The parking for the restaurant is valet only, as it shares the parking lot with the Courtyard hotel. We arrived a bit earlier for our reservation, but were seated almost immediately, as the restaurant just opened for the evening and was just starting to fill up. The outside of the restaurant looks just as good and clean as the inside of the restaurant. there was plenty of room to move around, so you definitely don't have to worry about bumping into people or tables every time you get up. The restrooms were very clean as well. Our servers were very friendly and prompt, so we hardly waited for any beverage refills. When I made our reservations, I did indicate it was for a birthday, and they definitely took note of it. We loved the customized menu and the birthday confetti, as it made the day that much more special. The bread service is complementary and simple, so you're not getting a variety of bread that you won't eat. We tried their Passion Fruit Martini and a non-alc version of their Blueberry Mojito. The martini packed a good punch, whereas the mojito had the right amount of tartness. We chose the three course for $60 deal and ordered a New York Strip. The french onion soup was very savory and the salad was huge! Sadly, we felt that we weren't able to fully enjoy the freshness of the salad as much as we wanted. The entrees and other sides came out very shortly thereafter, and we felt a bit rushed to eat the hot foods first, pushing the appetizers to the side. The stuffed mushrooms were amazing, and are definitely good when they're nice and hot. My wife did like the brussels sprouts, but was underwhelmed by the salmon and shrimp, as she found the salmon a bit dry and the shrimp was very peppery. The New York strip was cooked to a perfect medium. Our night was rounded off with their cheesecake (option for cheesecake or creme brulee on the three for $60 menu) and in honor of the birthday their chocolate cheesecake. Both were delicious! Her attitude was rude, dismissive, and completely lacking in hospitality. I was stunned, especially considering I was dressed appropriately and observed other guests in the main dining room dressed just as casually--or more casually--than I was. I love Ruth's Chris and was in Anaheim for a work conference and definitely had to make a stop here! We arrived right at 4 PM not realizing that they opened at four and they were already a few people outside, which shows me that this is a very popular spot! We immediately found seats at the bar and we're so impressed with the upscale decor and atmosphere and just overall great vibes of the entire restaurant. We were greeted right away by a very, very friendly server name Sheena and she was attentive, helpful and had a wonderful personality. Sarah was also working and constantly checked on us and was friendly and we really enjoyed our experience with them waiting on us. They have an amazing happy hour here that starts at four including some discounted, cocktails, wine, beer, and selected appetizers sandwiches and other menu items that are at a great discount discounted rate. We ordered the spinach dip which was very flavorful and so great and split a large fillet with the macaroni and cheese with lobster. I cannot stop dreaming about how amazing the lobster mac & cheese was, and the steak was cooked to absolute perfection and cut like butter! out of this world! and always the consistency that we expect from Ruth's Chris! The bathrooms were very clean and we also saw that they had an outdoor patio that we may check out next time we go. We had a great experience overall, and the only thing that I wasn't super thrilled about was that we were forced to valet park for $12 (with tip) and there was literally no other parking options. The valet parked our car two spots away in a previously coned off area that actually was public parking, so that would've been nice if we could've just self parked there and walked the 3 feet into the restaurant. What's was once our go to spot for a great meal has finally come to an end. For a Saturday night one would expect more of a crowd...but was surprisingly quiet (3 ppl at the bar). Just a year ago, you would have to fight for seats. We didn't see a lot of the regular bartenders which seemed odd as well... I would avoid the 3 course meal offer that they have ($60/person). It is a great deal, but the entrees come out lukewarm at best and is what one would expect on Valentine's Day where all the food is already prepped and comes out cold. We could've literally sent every course of our meal back for being cold, but knew this would most likely be our last time coming. Overall the service was good as usual. Overall a solid steak restaurant in Orange County. We've been here a few times for dinner but our most recent visit was for a family holiday party in their private room. The food was fantastic. It was fresh, tasty, and came out hot off of the grill! The seafood platter was really good. The sweet potato casserole is like candy...yum! The main entree portions were good. Service was top notch as well. From the hostess to all our servers, everyone was friendly, smiling, professional, and welcoming. It's not easy serving 50 people at once but they were efficient and on top of it. The one negative was parking. The only option is valet which is $8 for cash and $9 for credit card. The parking lot is literally right next to the restaurant so it's not like the valet guys have to walk a distance to get our car. Our car was parked a few steps away from the front door but I had to pay $8 for that. After spending over $100 per person, it seems a little greedy to charge for parking. 1st, the valet charges you $10 to park. You HAVE to pay this since there is no self parking available. Other steakhouse (Mortons & Fleming give free valet). Kids running it were unengaged and could care less. Service was good which is the only reason it gets 3 stars. *would be 2.5 if I could. French onion soup was lukewarm, over peppered & too much red wine. I LOVE a good French onion soup, but would NOT recommend this one! Server did not care that we complained about the temp or flavor. 6 Oz Filet was awesome! Great flavor! Shrimp on top was rubbery and over cooked! Our family has been to this location on countless occasions, largely because of the wonderful service. We've come here for birthdays, holidays, anytime we want a truly incredible dining experience. Warren consistently provides a memorable time, with the most delicious espresso martini and stellar recommendations. Darren is a close second in terms of our favorite bartenders, we are always happy to see them behind the bar making the best and most innovative drinks. The food is never disappointing, with my favorite filet in SoCal and classic creamed spinach.
