Can't go wrong with Birria tacos on Taco Tuesday. They taste just as good as they look. Only con is I would have liked more of the consommé.

Had an old faithful, the grilled shrimp and have a new have the vegetarian beans and chorizo. Both were excellent. We changed to flour tortillas so don't forget that is an option. Also shrimp comes with a spicy mayonnaise based sauce...good but some may not want. Salsa and queso sides are a perfect break between taco bits. A could not do without a margarita...really good taste, tequila and lime all the way! Front help was nice and food out fast. Big dining room, colorful with music.

We had an AMAZING time checking out Rusty Taco on Maple! This was our second time here, but this menu looked like it had been updated, we felt like there were some great new options! The chicken rolled taco, omg, my new favorite "taco"! The blood orange margarita was very mild, almost tasted like a normal margarita, but loved the black salt & lime topper! The guac & queso were delicious, both a little spicy for me, so my husband enjoyed them a little more than I did! We love that you can get as many chip refills that you want to finish off your dips! They have a large inside & outside patio, and plenty of complimentary parking all around the building! Prices were fair, place was clean, and staff was friendly!

Had a great experience at Rusty Taco! You walk in and the restaurant is very clean and kept well. The prices of the tacos are all very reasonable and they have tacos for all peoples taste buds. They have a wide variety of margaritas and sauces that you are able to put on your tacos which I definitely took advantage of. The wait times for your food is very reasonable and some would say fast. Service is respectful and plenty of seating for all.

Nice spot in West Omaha, open dining room with fun decor. The Frozen Marg had black salt and a nice citrus flavor. Started with the chips with salsa and queso, both were tasty and had good consistency. The street corn fritters were okay, fried well but didn't have a whole lot of flavor other than the sauce on top. The best thing I had was the rolled chicken taco. It was filled with chicken and fried until it was crunchy, topped with two sauces. Delicious!

First experience with rusty was... rusty. Ordered a few different tacos to try and for $5-$6 a taco I expected much better. I got old dry tacos that you could tell had been sitting and weren't made fresh which is surprising cos my order only took about 20 mins to get to me on DoorDash. It should have been fine but the ones they gave me were not fresh at all. One of the only ones to be saucy was I believe the brisket and it was so soggy at that point it was just a mess and gross. None of be tacos were very good to me and I was really disappointed with my whole experience. I would not pay for these again.

Stopped in for a quick lunch while on a business trip. The tacos were decent but for how big the shell was seemed under filled. The artwork and posters were entertaining.

We had a great time stopping in! The tacos are affordable and delicious. I did a Philly cheesesteak taco along with "The Fave" and I loved both of them! Fried chicken with Queso and calling it a taco, I am all in! Their queso in general was a hit. I usually complain about how little queso or chips you get and we had plenty of both! We only waiting 2-3 minutes for our food to be popped out. Guy behind the counter was kind. We did have some trouble understanding our names being called over the audio system, but we got it all figured out! Tables were all cleaned despite it being relatively busy. Appeared to be clean! We were able to pull out a dice game and we had a fun evening! Cheap tacos, delicious queso... it was a really fun night and we will definitle be back! I miss the queso the most.

Services is great. Very friendly staff! The chips and queso was amazing love the queso! They have a spicy salsa that is spectacular for spicy food lovers! The tacos are subpar, the shells are not even warmed which makes the meat cold. I would absolutely come back for drink and and chips and salsa! Great price!

My son and I went here a few weeks ago - we've never been to Rusty Taco but we were there for National Margarita Day. The atmosphere is fairly good for a place like this. Open seating, all close together. Traditional mexican/cantina decor along the edges. The place was loud but not distracting. It was a good place to take a kid, connect and hang out! As an appetizer, we got the chips and guacamole. The guacamole was pretty good - chunks of vegetables, smooth and creamy, and seasoned appropriately (not plain but not too much - I would have added more salt but I was sharing). We were told to come back up for more chips, which I did because I am a sucker for free carbs and Mexican and Italian restaurants. For my taco, I got the potato, egg, and cheese taco. The potatoes were crispy and loaded with egg and cheese. A lot of cheese, which was awesome! My only thought here was if they would have melted the cheese before serving. I got two margaritas - a traditional with salt and the mango with Tajin. Both were delicious - strong and full of flavor. I would gladly come back and try some of the other combinations here. We had one "issue" that occurred during our visit (but it was our issue, not the restaurant's). My son, against my suggestion, ordered the chorizo, egg, and cheese taco. When he bit into it, it was too spicy for him. When I took it up to get a different one, the gentleman in charge who helped me told me I didn't need to buy the replacement and substituted a bacon, egg, and cheese instead, which my son enjoyed. This was an unexpected level of customer service that you just don't see much anymore and I am thankful for the kindness shown there. The service was spectacular throughout, from placing of order, pickup of the food, the exchange of my son's food item, and as we were eating. It's evident that the people that work here take pride in their work. And even better, I always like to watch the employees and many of them were smiling and having a good time. As a previous food-service worker, being able to genuinely smile at work is tough at times. It appears that this is a great place to work and eat. There are multiple locations as well, so I would definitely advise putting this on your list of places to try.

Decided to try this place out as I just moved from Texas and am looking for dome good taco joints in omaha. They are street tacos and are made fresh to order which is good. I like the atmosphere of the restraunt..it's very casual and would be a nice place to have a margarita and some tacos. Flavor wise, the tacos were good. But the salsa is what made the tacos sort of next level..the roja salsa was phenomenal. I will definitely be returning to try some of the other tacos out I also should mention the guy at the counter who took my order was insanely helpful and he really helped me out in deciding what to order and how much to order, so hats off to him. I sadly don't remember his name to give him credit.

Good guacamole and tacos were OK, tortillas were a little stale and didn't get all of our food at the same time.

The food is chefs kiss! I had green enchiladas that you could mix and match so I had chicken and cheese. It came with rice and beans as well. It was so much food! Even though you want to eat it all I had to take some home. Their kids meals come with a free ice cream and the kids get to go to a topping bar to choose what they want, which my kids loved! Our waitress even took my kids to the topping bar for me so I could stay enjoying my meal. They also have a shaker margarita that was BOMMB!! I went on a Thursday night and it was packed and pretty busy but still received our food quickly after we were seated right away! A new dinner spot for my family for sure!!

Waitstaff was pretty busy and that explained the wait to order and lack of utensils after the food arrived. I tried the fajitas Texana after reading reviews and found that they were pretty bland and served with grocery style tortillas (likely made with stabilizers to give it a spongy feel). My son was pleased with his Cuban Torta and my husband liked the carnitas. The biggest plus was the serving size of every dish was enough for 2 meals for most people. I'd go back again but try something different.
