Change of pace for the husband we don't normally head to the Windham area for dinner. He was in the mood for steak so he chose the place. Our waitress was sweet and knowledgeable! I was amazed at how big the inside was. Food was delicious. I do enjoy a nicely cooked wing and these were very good!

Baked stuffed scallops

We had not been to Rustler's since they moved. While I like the space it is definitely smaller, which made for a wait to be seated on a busy night and then wait a long time for our meal. There is a huge bar and they seat right around that which is not my preference to be right up against strangers, but was the only option to get a space. There might be more seating for families upstairs but a table was not apparently an option for a party of 2. The food was excellent. I had the baked stuffed scallops, which I would recommend. A good amount of fresh large scallops with a healthy helping of delicious seafood stuffing and newburg sauce. The stuffing had small, but still discernible pieces of real lobster meat. I could not finish everything - and I really gave it a try! My husband had a burger with cheese and bacon. This was juicy and delicious. He had onion rings that were light and crispy. Great meal that would warrant 5 stars but for the wait issue and lack of table seating.

Busy Friday night before Christmas , was hoping to miss the supper rush but hit the noisy bar rush instead . Had to wait for a table because no one was around to clean the tables people had left from . Had the same waitress from the last visit . Was not any better . Long wait for food , excessive then it was cold . The stuffed baked scallops were not great and even worse cold ,high light again was the bacon wrapped scallops and crab Rangoons . Please add your non alcoholic beverages to a menu . And non carbonated as well . The worst thing was the employee coughing all over the place . It's bad enough the customers coming in sick and spreading that around for the holidays . If you're sick and dealing with food please at least wear a mask .

Caesar salad (asked for no croutons)

This was our first time being here. The parking lot was full and I can why . Our food was delicious and cooked perfectly. We sat at the bar when we saw two empty seats as it was very busy . Rustic looking inside and pretty loud which was fine for us. Caesar salad was real good. I got the tenderloin and was cooked to perfection! My husband got the steak tips with a sweet chili sauce on them . We will definitely go back when in the mood for steak .

Yes, it's a bit small inside , but the food was good, the service was good, and prices are reasonable. Also, they do have outdoor seating. We chose to sit inside and were able to get a booth, although most of the tables are close to the bar. We ordered the beef tips and the walnut cranberry salad, which was served with warm balsamic on the side. Very good, and I would recommend a visit.

Overcooked baked that disappointed us.

Maddie was a wonderful server but our entrees were soo disappointing. The house salads had wilted lettuce. The scallop and haddock bakes were burnt on the bottom. My husband's first chicken was undercooked. It just felt like the kitchen didn't care. The sides were delicious with the exception of the baked potato. I had read that on a review and have to concur. The Cole slaw was delightful as well as the house vegetables. For the price we would never go again and would say try other places for dinner.

Great food and good prices with friendly service. Yes the restaurant is a bit small and can feel a bit cramped, but the food is well worth it.

Good food, friendly service, casual place, and GREAT sweet potato fries. I'm never disappointed when I go.

Only issue was the menu online was slightly out of date - apparently the cream spinach was not popular enough to keep in rotation. To start off with little pretzel bites instead of bread was unique and delicious with a rich cheddar dip. Calamri was good but it was too heavy on the peppers mixed in. The porterhouse is big enough to share, but it didn't come pre-sliced. It was cooked perfectly and simmering in juices. For sides, the mac n cheese and truffle fries were hits. Allegedly, they are sometimes a bit heavy with truffle oil on steaks, but our steak was fine and fries were loaded up. Desserts were on rotation and we did just miss out on one option, but the chocolate cake was rich and decadent and the brulee cheesecake was petite but perfectly crunchy sugary on top with creaminess on the bottom. Both were great. There was really something for everyone on the menu. Everyone enjoyed their meals here.

We sat at the Chef's Table (which is bar counter overlooking kitchen). The chefs were great. They were so well prepared & took pride in their roles. During a down period, Alex, the head chef, talked with us a bit. He's very passionate about cooking for others & plans to open his own restaurant someday in his home country of Guatamala. We shared: The wedge salad. We were iffy on the menu description on the dressing but so happy we went for it. -The surf & turf special (photo). Absolutely amazing. My husband raved about their filet & mashed potatoes. The lobster was perfect. -Brussel sprouts & bacon. Oooh. The bacon was more like chunks of pork belly, yummm! Our waiter was great too, just didn't remember his name.

The biggest surprise was being charged $18 for bread and butter without being told there was a charge. Seriously--$18 for bread and butter should absolutely be communicated beforehand. This felt like robbery. Service also needs improvement. Our water and wine glasses sat empty for much of the meal, and the attentiveness just wasn't there. At a steakhouse at this price point, keeping drinks filled and checking on the table should be a given. Overall, good food, but the service and surprise charges really took away from the experience. With better attention to detail and transparency, this could be a much better restaurant.

The place itself looks fantastic, with crisp linen tablecloths and warm table lamps that give it a classy, cozy feel as soon as you sit down. Every piece of meat was cooked perfectly, from the first slice to the last, and the variety was incredible. The staff kept checking on us just enough to make sure we had everything we wanted, but never in an annoying or pushy way. You're given cards with "yes" on one side and "no" on the other, so you can control when they offer you more food. With the "yes" side up, the servers bring you a steady stream of delicious meats; flip it to "no" when you need a break. I ate way too much, too fast, simply because everything was so good. We already can't wait to go back. Ogunquit has a lot of great places to eat, but make sure you try this one--At Bonissoni Brazilian Steakhouse should absolutely be on your list.
