Then proceeded to tell me that I would not be able to get the set that I wanted because I lived in an apartment without even knowing the dimensions of the couch or my apartment building. I would not spend my money here based on that alone. I was just going to purchase it anyway from the other skinny gentleman who was much more pleasant, but my bank would not allow the large purchase at the time till I up'd my limit (divine intervention). I got some very useful advice on frame and matting selection from one of the staff. I was told it would be ready in four weeks and indeed it was. They did a very nice job and it looks very nice hanging on my wall. It cost a bit more than I expected but I think it was worth it.

The selection of frames is vast - including so many that are unique. The staff is creative, knowledgeable, polite and professional. I was just in the store today having a picture framed and I witnessed a customer who was nothing short of cruel, demeaning and disrespectful to Erika, a longtime and amazing sales consultant. Erika kept her cool and couldn't have been more professional and kind to this very cruel customer. Everyone can have a bad day but this was nothing short of abusive. I give Erika kudos for handling the situation as she did and for the shop's owner for addressing the situation in a firm but fair manner. Let's all be better, people. This is a neighborhood shop that we should bend over backwards to support. It is amazing in every respect.

Frustrated at being able to get anyone to help me, I left. Today, I had a project, and I needed to find some old wood for shelving, so I went to the new location thinking it might be better. It wasn't. It was possibly worse. I think I was the only customer in the entire store, yet, I still could not get any help. I had a piece I wanted to buy in hand, but when I approached them, they ran away to the back of the store. It is so rare and disturbing to want to give someone money, but not to be able to do so.
