As the name implies this store seems to be dedicated to the boating lifestyle or cabin you might have. You'll find lots of nautically inspired home decor and gifts for everyone. When I walked into the store I was greeted by Danielle, the owner. She couldn't have been more friendly and I loved hearing her story about how she decided to open her own shop. Retail experience seems to run in the family as her mom owns a shop in the Galleria and she also had an aunt in the business too. They have a very carefully curated selection of clothing and home good items. I'd say currently the theme is a casual southwest feel. I found everything adorable and decently priced though it was a smaller selection than I would have liked. Even with that in mind I still wanted everything in the store. They have frames, plants, chairs, tables, shoes, scarves, jewelry, etc. I wanted a scarf and bracelet but wisely left with the perfect gold floor lamp for $30. So it is literally right above the Bibelot and next door to Sebastian Joe's. Karen Lang, the owner, greeted my girlfriend and I and she was very welcoming. You will find a variety of different gift ideas here by local artisans. I picked up a leather key holder but there are baby clothes, handmade jewelry, Muddy Mouth greeting cards, hand-stitched ties, Love Your Melon Beanies (that raise money for kids with cancer) and much more. There is also a great selection of refurbished and hand painted furniture. My girlfriend was interested in a dresser and mirror that was refurbished. They are up to it again this year so no more Holly House. I cannot even look at the engraved silverware anymore without animosity. I will greatly miss the cookies, pierogies, mittens and other fun items but I want to shop where it makes me happy for Christmas. I wasn't going to write this review but after my friend told the same story to me, I realized it is impacting more people. We need more merry and bright.
