When I learned he ships anywhere, I was able to get a large square glass dining table that my daughter- in- love fell in love for them (house warming gift) -- it will be shipped up north. Austin has a wealth of design knowledge he willingly shares. He is personable and also helped us fit everything in our van creatively. We couldn't have done it without him! I love Coco Rose Home as it's my favorite coco rose store out of them all. Coco rose is a long time established brand in the desert and they are most notably known for their clothing and accessories stores throughout the desert. However, last year they opened up their own home goods and decor shop which is amazing! Located in downtown La Quinta it's easy to find. It's not far from their coco rose clothing store, just a 30 second walk past, closer to the street. It's a decent sized home goods store and perfect for shopping while downtown. This store has larger home goods items but also has cute little accessories and gifts. There are a nice range of items here and the prices definitely vary from moderate to pricey, just depends what you're looking for. I've come in for small gifts such as napkins, cards, and trinkets all under $20. Most recently though I came and bought a $500 beautiful skull head art for my home. So like I said, there are ranges and something for everyone. The store is always well kept and the layout seems to go by different themes and styles which helps you while your shopping. The staff are always super nice and sweet here. Very attentive but also give you space to look around. I really appreciate the friendliness of the staff and their willingness to help once you find something you need or have questions about. It's always great to support a local small business. My favorite is their collection of Waxing Poetic brand jewelry, a collection of mixed metal necklaces and charms that enable you to create your own piece of jewelry as each can be purchased separately. When I asked about the Arrata brand, she told me they no longer carry it, then directed me to the back area and said the items there were 50% off and that I could check the rack in case something was there. After spending about ten minutes searching, I found an item. At that point she changed her story and said the price on the tag was not 50% off and that it was full price. This was completely different from what she originally told me. My family and I have shopped here before, so this experience was disappointing and unprofessional. I came specifically to purchase a Mother's Day gift, and the lack of courtesy, clarity, and consistency made the visit unnecessarily frustrating. I am in this store at least three days a week. They always have a great supply, and their weekly sales really save me money! There is always an employee stocking nearby if I need to ask a question. Michaels not only has limited stock, but their prices are high, and they usually have only one employee at checkout while the rest is self-checkout. My favorite employee at the La Quinta Hobby Lobby is Lindsey. She is always upbeat and helpful. She knows the store inside and out, so I always look for her if I'm having trouble locating an item. So many times I have had an issue making something, and thankfully Lindsey was there to suggest an item to solve my problem. I have a Christian upbringing, and one of my biggest problems with some Christians is how they judge others by the way they look. Lindsey dresses differently and has a different style than most of the employees at Hobby Lobby, and it makes me so happy that the Christian management doesn't judge her by her appearance. She is a true asset to the store because of how well she treats customers and other employees.

And when we asked the salesperson for something comparable to what we were looking at, hoping maybe for a brand we hadn't considered, they weren't very forthcoming - do you have Subzero? Do you have Kitchenaid? etc. If we couldn't think of a brand name off the top of our head, it wasn't suggested. Prices are not displayed on many appliances - we had to ask, and the salesperson had to go look it up each time.
