Rustic Knead is an absolute gem in Lemont! The bacon, egg & cheese sandwich was next-level amazing--crispy bacon, fluffy eggs, melty cheese, and perfectly toasted bread that had me wishing I ordered two. The spicy egg torta was just as impressive--flavorful, bold, and the kind of sandwich you think about hours later (no shame if I already am ). Their coffee and tea selection deserves its own shoutout--so many options, and everything I tried was smooth and comforting, exactly what you want with a killer breakfast sandwich. The vibe is cozy and welcoming, perfect for a casual morning hangout or grabbing something hearty before tackling the day. Will definitely be back. Rustic Knead has officially become one of my go-to breakfast spots in the area

Was looking for a new sandwich place to try. Bread is good. Sandwiches were ok. A nice option to the traditional places

I came to Rustic Knead with two friends after hearing great things about it. I thought it was going to be like Panera, and while you could say the concepts are a bit similar (soups, salads, and sandwiches), the execution is were the two totally differ. Rustic Knead is a very spacious place, with lots of different seating available. You go up to the counter and place your order as they make the sandwich in front of you. Absolutely love that because you get to see all the fresh ingredients being used. I ordered the Club Med; chicken, European feta cheese, red pepper hummus, cucumber, vine tomato, avocado, red onion, baby arugula. To be honest, I am not sure what bread my sandwich was made on but it was good. It had a very crusty exterior and fluffy interior. The sandwich was very big; I definitely had to save half for later. The components of the sandwich were all very flavorful, and the difference in textures among them added a nice contrast between each bite. Rustic Knead is a very solid place to get lunch. I would highly recommend it!

I finally got the chance to try this place and I've been back 2xs in 2 weeks. I literally want to try all their sandwiches!! There's so many options to pick from and I love that they use fresh, clean products, and slice the meat right in front of you. Ive had both the caprese sandwich and the Cobb and my only complaint would be that I wished they offered to toast the caprese. I think melted mozzarella would've put the sandwich over the edge for me- and it was already good cold. I have yet to try their soups or salads, maybe on my next visit. I haven't gotten there early enough to see all their baked goods. I usually make it after 12 and by then, it's slim pickings for pastries. I'm not sure if I missed the baked bread- like sour dough and their baguette on my first visit, but I noticed it today. They all look very good and I'll have to pick up a loaf next time. Today I just went with slices rustic white bread which my family enjoyed. Cant wait to try more sandwiches. Glad I found this place....

My mother raves all the time about Rustic Knead. She loves picking up croissants from here, going to breakfast here, you name it. If she and her friends want to meet for some tea and a snack, you better believe they're heading here. When I came in to town, she insisted we head over there for breakfast as a little treat for ourselves. Sure, why not. It was nice. It's a cute little location, right on down to the Edison bulbs. Almost feels like living in the Bay Area again, just with the atrocious Midwest winter outside. They seemed to be taking some pandemic precautions, although it's harder to tell with a restaurant style setting when everyone is just laughing and eating mask-less anyway. I thought the menu was rather limited. None of the breakfast sandwiches really appealed to me, so it seemed pointless. I did get a chocolate croissant, but it wasn't just the greatest ever that my mother had sold on me. Was it solid? Sure. Does she (and my father for that matter) recommend this place and adore it? Obviously. Because of their five stars and my three, I compromised with four. Worth the stop, but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat there.

Got breakfast. I had the spicy chorizo egg sandwich on gluten free bread. Bread was excellent. Very soft. About a 5 minute wait in line so no biggie there. Plenty of seating. Very open. Bought a loaf of bread while there and looking forward to it. Excellent experience.

But with that being said I've been to several Dotty's locations over the years, and I've recently had the pleasure of running into a younger girl named Courtney a few times now. I've never felt compelled to write a review but I finally had a chance to sit down and write this because she truly deserves the recognition. Courtney is one of the nicest and most helpful young ladies I've met at a Dotty's. She has amazing customer service for such a young girl. She is very knowledgeable, always friendly, and goes out of her way to make sure everyone is comfortable and having a good experience. She does all of this without being pushy or overbearing, which I really appreciate. She keeps everything running smoothly, always makes sure my soda is filled, the snacks are stocked (especially my cookies), and the place feels welcoming. You can tell she takes pride in her job and really enjoys helping people. Her kindness and positive attitude are what stand out the most. I always look forward to seeing Courtney when I come in because she makes my visits that much better. Dotty's is very lucky to have her, and I hope to see her again soon!

It was 5:45, I didn't have a reservation, a they didn't have a table available until 7:30 but there were spots at the bar which they said was full service. My friend and I cozied up to it and ate there. What a surprisingly good experience. The staff was super friendly and that bartenders had great suggestions. I hate when people at the restaurant say everything is good. Not these young ladies. They made some sound suggestions which we followed. French onion soup and the steak frites were both excellent and priced well IMO. They have a really good whiskey/bourbon selection with a few hard to find bottles. I settled on a Blantons neat. They had Pappy, but I'm not wasting money on that anymore. Food came out quickly and we ate and watched a baseball game. The locals at the bar told us about their membership program where I guess for a small mo they fee you get a bottle of wine and a charcuterie plate once a month. Seemed like a pretty good deal. I don't live anywhere near there, but if I did I'd certainly join. In any case, if you live anywhere close, this is definitely a worthwhile restaurant to visit. Seems like there were quite a few singles there as well if you are looking to meet someone. I have no idea what the dating scene is like in Lemont, but this might be a good spot to try.

Honestly, that part is completely understandable since we were late and they operate on more of a first-come, first-served basis. Once we were seated, though, the service became quite disappointing. It took a while for our drinks to arrive, and then we waited about 20 minutes just to have our food order taken. From the time we sat down, it was roughly another 20-30 minutes before the food actually arrived. What made the wait even more disappointing was that the restaurant was not busy at all. There were only about three other tables with customers, so we really couldn't understand why everything was taking so long. With that kind of wait, we were really hoping the food would make up for it, but unfortunately it fell short. Some of the dishes were noticeably over-seasoned and salty. The milanesa tortas were tough and chewy, and definitely not something I would order again. I would also skip the rice and beans. The burrito was probably the best thing we tried and was decent. The kids' tacos were also disappointing the tortilla was very greasy and the meat was quite salty and chewy. One other thing worth mentioning is the additional charges. For parties of 6 or more, they automatically add a 20% gratuity, and if you pay with a credit card, there is an additional 3.5% credit-card fee. Given the slow service we experienced, the mandatory 20% gratuity was especially frustrating. Overall, the slow service, mediocre food, and additional fees made this a disappointing experience. If the restaurant had been packed, I could understand the long wait, but with only three other tables occupied, the service was much slower than expected. I probably would not return to this location.

Great spot for groups since most of the menu lends itself to sharing. The Neapolitan pizza is the real draw here and it earns the reputation. We went with the pepperoni and it was very good. Well executed, properly blistered, the kind of pizza that reminds you what pizza is actually supposed to taste like. The whipped ricotta and honeycomb appetizer was a genuine standout. Creamy, sweet, deeply flavorful. Only complaint is that the bread situation did not keep pace with the amount of ricotta they give you. Send more bread, please and thank you. Service was attentive and friendly throughout. One honest note for families: the menu skews mature and there is no kids menu to speak of. A cheese pizza is about as far as the options go for little ones. My son was not exactly inspired by the choices. For a restaurant this good, a little more consideration for younger diners would go a long way and open this place up to a whole new crowd of regulars. Worth the visit, just know your audience before you go.

Today's experience at McDonalds was uncalled for…read more Complete rundown: I ordered from the mobile app, of which I have nothing but positive feedback for. The app is great and easy to use. Drive thru pickup, as I typically find this experience quicker than curbside pickup during late nighttime hours. The person that I spoke to on the speaker drive thru was excellent: Pleasant, welcoming and easy to understand. Gave my order number and was told to pull up to the second window. Server at the second window gave me my happy meals and drinks, then proceeded to ask me to pull around to curbside for the rest of my order (deluxe chicken sandwich and a large fry). Server informed me that they were cooking a fresh batch of fry's, of which I was pleasantly surprised to hear the honesty. It's not typical of someone at McDonalds to tell you the reasons why, let alone without my asking. But it goes downhill from here. No one came out with my order for a while, 15 minutes total of waiting curbside. The car behind me received their order and drove off. The car in front of me drove off without receiving their order. The server then came out with one bag asking if I was the one that ordered three orders of fry's. Im assuming this was the person in front of me that drove off. The server then came back with my complete order, after reminding them twice of what my order was. During this 15 minutes of time, I watched several high school student's at the inside counter ordering and receiving their orders. Many of which having full on conversations with the employees filled with smiling and laughter. To top it off, getting home, I find my kids hamburger happy meal missing the hamburger and the chicken nugget happy meal missing the ranch dipping sauce. Luckily my kids were appreciative enough to split their 4 piece nuggets together. Oh, on a positive note, the chicken sandwich and fresh fry's were exceptional. Always my go to order. I rate 2 stars for great tasting food and initial positive customer service, but extremely poor execution and ending experience. Although this is my first review, dedicating time to become a yelp reviewer has been something I've wanted to do for some time now. Everyone deserves fair and honest feedback. This is my start.
