a pink and gold birthday cake
    Rosa W.

I was referred to Eat Moore Cakes after an other bakery decided to cancel my order a week before my daughter's first party. I was very happy and excited that the response time was fast and they where able to take the order within days away from the party. Pricing was on the expensive end but me needing a cake I bite my tongue and just agreed. I had my husband pick up the cake 30 minutes before the party and it was kept in the shade. The cake had some sloppy areas on it that if I had looked at it at the time of pick up I would have said something. The cake was moist but burnt on the outside of the cake under the frosting. I ask for a number on top of the cake.....It was a piece of cardboard cut out into a one with fondant only covering front. I purchased cupcakes also that where dry Honestly, I really felt like I was cheated out my money. I did reach out by email and phone but no response. I will not be ordering from this bakery again.

I wanted this one with the fondant details in the head. This is a photo I sent.

I sent over a picture I wanted she said she could do it when I picked it up it wasn't exactly the fondant artsy style I thought it would be but it looked nice. It was a screen photo of what I wanted. Needless to say I was still happy with the extra details she put on the cake to make it special!!!! I ordered a banana cake and the taste did not disappoint!!! It had that high quality wedding cake taste that you can only get at fancy weddings!!! I'm very impressed with "eat more cakes", I will forever order my cakes from here. My daughter was over the moon when she saw this cake.

This was the perfect cake for my wife's surprise party! A three tiered specialty cake - beautiful and delicious!

This was the first time I had ordered a specialty cake, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish working with Eat Moore Cakes. The owner was very accommodating and creative with ideas, she was very easy to reach via email, or phone for any questions that came up or, new ideas for that I came up with for the cake. The level of service was outstanding! When the cake arrived it was absolutely beautiful! Treecy does delivery and set up at a reasonable price, she did a wonderful job with the decorations beneath the cake too! This cake was the talk of the party; beautiful, and delicious! I ordered a 10" chocolate cake on the bottom layer, 6" vanilla & strawberry filling in the middle, and a 4" red velvet cake on top! This cake was moist and delicious-we haven't eaten the middle layer yet, but can't wait to have some! The detail was much more than I expected, I was pleasantly surprised with the artistry of the cake, and the wonderful taste! I will definitely go back to try more of their cake flavors!

Ordered my mom a specialty cake, as she bakes and I wanted to find something that would be special for her.

Day old cake had a distressing, rubbery frosting coat - weird and gross. Is marshmallow frosting a thing ? And how hard is it to take a cake order a week in advance and execute. Also downgraded a star as I facebooked messaged and called and left messages multiple times before someone finally got back to me. Dissatisfied, disappointed. Upgraded to 3 stars. The cake was moist and the Bavarian cream tasty. 4 layer cake (nice surprise) though the whipped cream was too rich and tasted vaguely like marshmallow. Still Stand by portion comment ... portions are stupidly small. I paid $4 for a smore thing that is literally an inch long and half an inch wide. I ordered a bday cake (6") they said could feed 12-16 people (maybe if they were dolls). It looks like a miniature cake that cost $60. Asked for simple, elegant design and got a white cake, red letters and 10 chocolate shavings. Simple, sure but no ones vocabulary can be termed elegant. Wow. Do not recommend at all. Very disappointed

So I made the mistake of heading over here the day before Christmas Eve. I wanted to just pick up…read moresome cupcakes for the holiday to try out this "new" place I've heard so much about. Turns out, that everyone had the same idea, since the shop was closed Monday and Tuesday and that Wednesday was the first day back. I couldn't make it in time for opening, but about 90 minutes in; such a line!! I waited outside for 45 minutes, braving the cold winds as CDC guidelines only allow one guest in the tiny shop at a time. People were coming out with bags and bags of Hot Chocolate Bombs. When I made it into the store, that was obviously the main draw, although I did manage to take a couple cupcakes home, too. I scored two mint and two regular, both were filled with marshmallows. As I now was crazy intrigued at this entire fad, it definitely became the excitement of this more mundane holiday season. They were delicious (as were the cupcakes). Pro tip: follow the Cupcakery on Facebook. You'll not only know when there will be HCBs but also how many so you know how early to arrive to score some. They'll be making them as long as it remains cold out! Definitely worth the wait.

The cupcakes were good, maybe a bit overpriced considering they are fairly small. Cons- the coffee really was not good and no one in the place was wearing masks. I really want to like this place but I'm hesitant to go back while COVID is still happening.
