Wise Choice uses a platform for selecting materials and so forth that was great in theory, rather questionable in practice, and our wires got crossed more than a few times. The time issue was simply that the projects took a bit longer than we'd planned. The time problem though was at least partly our fault (changing our minds about design, etc), and that was compounded by suppliers actually sending the wrong product on occasion, so certainly not all a Wise Choice issue. Other than that, they were great to work with, very pleasant people all around, very conscientious (cleaning up work spaces thoroughly every day), and the entire project came in under budget! We will definitely reach out to them again for our next remodel.

We are so glad we went with Wise Choice!…read more After meeting with several contractors, my wife and I chose them to do an addition to our house. We first learned about Wise Choice through Yelp, and although we were initially nervous about choosing a contractor for such a large job (they gave us the best estimate, by far!) without a personal recommendation, we couldn't be happier with our decision. They were great to work with throughout the entire process, from architectural and engineering plans, permitting, and the actual construction. The project manager, Sergiy, and foreman, Bogdan, were very honest, helpful, and responsive every step of the way. The project was completed pretty much on budget (with only a couple of unforeseen issues outside of their control) and on time. We love the results, and several people have commented that the addition looks like it should have been there all along. We can't recommend Wise Choice highly enough!

There were no surprise extra charges and he finished on budget and within the promised timeframe, even though I had him do a completely unrelated garage window replacement in the middle of the job! I wouldn't hesitate to hire Kay again for any job big or small, and I will be recommending him to anyone who is looking to do a home project.

I interviewed several general contractors, but Ivan clearly stood out for multiple reasons. First, Ivan is extremely punctual and professional. Whenever an appointment was scheduled, he always showed up on time, which immediately built trust. Second, the costs were explained clearly and transparently, and the pricing was very competitive. There were no surprises, and everything was communicated upfront. Ivan is also very trustworthy and friendly. He always listened carefully to what we wanted, never pushed us in any particular direction, and respected our decisions. He was proactive in taking care of additional work and addressed even the smallest concerns my wife had, which we truly appreciated. Overall, the quality of work and the entire process exceeded our expectations. I would highly recommend Ivan Balco and Creative Constructions to anyone looking for a reliable, honest, and skilled general contractor. Location: Sammamish

The project included removing and adding interior walls, relocating a door, enclosing another doorway, moving electrical with permits, and replacing the flooring and baseboards. Ivan's bid was competitive, and the final cost was exactly what he quoted aside from a few minor changes I asked for. What stood out most was the communication and organization. He created a shared calendar so I could track the project, and because I was out of town for the first week, he sent me photos regularly so I could see the work as it progressed. He said the project would take two weeks, and he finished it on time. Other contractors I spoke with had estimated three to four weeks. The quality of the work was excellent, the job site was kept clean, and the few changes I requested along the way were handled easily and graciously. I would absolutely work with Ivan again. In fact, I plan to have him bid on another project at my home.

Oh my gosh! Can there be 10 stars?!…read more We could not be happier with Landin Construction! Amazing work! My husband is a perfectionist and is very critical of any labor done in our homes. He was in awe of their work. Everything was done to perfection. We had over 6 bids for bathrooms ( total redo) and their prices were amazing for the work they did! They listened to our concerns, came up with a plan. We could not be happier! Besides bathrooms, we were going to have them do our flooring- carpet to LV. Third floor condo - we ordered all, they bought everything up three flights of steps ( 950 square feet) - after carpet was up they noted flooring was off, and LV was not an option unless floor floated. We opted for carpet. They hauled all of the LV back down three flights. Zero complaints. Happy to do whatever was in our best interest! When we thanked them for their great work throughout, their response was always " we thank you. We are grateful for the work!" Kind, perfectionists, trustworthy, tidy... we can not say enough good about them. Family run business. Gustavo and Danny have our highest recommendation! They also work with other stellar professionals. We are so grateful to them!!!

They also redid our fence and garbage-bin enclosure. The craftsmanship, attention to detail, and communication throughout the project were exceptional. The finished result exceeded our expectations -- this outdoor living space has truly been a blessing for our family. Rain or shine, there's not a day we don't use it. We've hosted countless family game nights and gatherings here, and I'm genuinely grateful for this space every single day. I don't usually write reviews, but I'm taking the time because of what happened recently -- more than four years after the project was completed. We noticed a small leak where the deck cover connects to the house, water was dripping from the soffit boards. Naturally, we were stressed about potential water damage and repairs, but when I reached out to Tim, he responded within minutes and sent his team the very next morning! They inspected the area, found a likely source, sealed it and performed the necessary repairs, then advised us to observe it again when the rain returns and call them if further repairs is needed. This experience speaks volumes about the company's integrity and dedication to their customers. Even years later, they stood behind their work without hesitation. It's rare these days to find honest, hardworking, and caring contractors like Tim and his crew. We are very satisfied customers and highly recommend Sky Mountain Contractors to anyone looking for quality craftsmanship and genuine professionalism. (Photos attached of our project!)

Tim's responsiveness throughout the project was amazing, which is rare to find these days. I am a perfectionist and expect the same of Contractors. Many months after the project had been finished, we requested a minor repair to our siding that was NOT even part of their work. They came up yesterday and fixed it for us! They went above and beyond! Also, we had a request for a unique fold-out shelf for feeding birds (which we make sure is never available to bears!). Tim designed something that works perfectly. The end result far exceeded what we thought was possible- between an extension, taking a wall down and figuring out a perfect layout we ended up with not just "the best we could get" but an objectively beautiful, spacious and functional kitchen. If you're looking for near full creative and design control that's exactly what you get! Aaron recommended vendors and gave professional suggestions but was supportive of what we wanted in every way. One of the most invaluable things about hiring Aaron were his professional connections - we had had bad luck hiring contractors for small jobs in the past. All of Aaron's contractors were fantastic, we've even asked for their numbers for electric and plumbing work in the time since. It's been so fun in the time since to have neighbors over who have our same layout to come see what's possible for their tiny kitchen. We give them Aaron's info every time. If your dream remodel seems impossible - at least give him a call and see what he can do! We honestly couldn't of imagined a better outcome.

He also went above and beyond by offering to fix the opposite side of the door frame, which was ugly before the project started. We didn't even think it was an option to fix that. Cornel installed the door, painted it, and fixed the trim on both sides, on the same day. The final result is absolutely perfect. It's beautiful, and the quality is stellar.
