The space itself has a really niche aesthetic and I especially loved the unique window design. I arrived around 10 a.m. and the café was busy but not overwhelming, with a steady flow of people coming and going. I ordered one of their winter specials: an iced matcha with black sesame foam. It was pricey at $10, but honestly one of the best I've ever had. They instruct you to sip the foam first before mixing, and the flavours were bold with just the right amount of sweetness. The service was incredible. They actually brought my drink over, which I wasn't expecting, and when we were done they came by with water and cleared our empty cups. Such a pleasant surprise! All in all, highly recommend this spot. I would come by all the time if I lived nearby.

The salad was soaked in basalmic, and the smash burger from Farm Boy tastes better than this. It's busy because there's no other place to sit down and eat at the island. Next time I go to the island, I will purchase from Farm Boy and picnic. If you're going to run a business, especially a restaurant, be ready to open, be clean everywhere, smile and greet your guests (seriously, we thought we were an imposition), and make good food.
