At my recent Mother's Day treat.

Their crab crepes never disappoint. Their scones are unmatched (I always order some to take home with me). Service is impeccable. My daughter and I have been cooming here for years!

food and presentation was good. accommodate any allergies or special food request. service was excellent- staff knowledgeable and very friendly. ambiance - cozy and clean. parking is a little issue as limited but free at the back and paid parking at the end corner of mill st.

Nice setting in an old mansion. The waitress was very nice. Choice of pastries from the menu or from the board: tarts, cheesecakes, lava cakes, etc. and lots of different teas. But coffee as well.

Very surprised that the rating is only 3.5 . For High yea the pricing is very reasonable (about 38 per person). I came here for my fiancés birthday and they made sure to make it special even though I never asked. We were a bit late and they were very accommodating despite the place being very packed. Most places I have seen price high over 45$ for the same items. My fiancé got the high tea while I had a chicken phylo pastry . It was so juicy and moist and the pastry was so crunchy and rich and buttery. The salad they use a special house made Dijon honey dressing which was light fragrant and not to heavy . One of the servers was a bit abrasive but the other one who served us was absolute immaculate. She was very informative on the menu and teas and was very observant and even exchanged the tea my fiancé didn't like for another right away. To top it all off they brought us a little ice cream "cake" to celebrate my fiancés birthday. Overall one of the best places to come for high tea if you live in the Mississauga area.

The Tea Room is a great spot for high tea or just to enjoy some light snacks this is definitely a hidden gem in Streetsville. The interior is very chic and cute utilizing every nook and cranny in the house. You would definitely need to call ahead to make reservations as they are very busy and almost won't take walk-ins. Right at the front of the house there are 2 rooms for you to walk around, they sell tea pots, tea cups, loose leaf tea, or anything you would need to throw your own tea party at home. The other room sells little crafts and one of a kinds, novels, and hats. I spent a little bit of time walking around before our table was ready they have some cool things. We did the Tea Room High Tea which costs about $25 per person. This includes your choice of loose leaf tea, a salad, a tower of tea sandwiches, quiche, scones, a small selection of sweets to finish it off. Overall everything was great, Stephanie's service was amazing always kept our tea pots topped up with hot water and kept making sure we had everything we needed. Overall awesome experience at The Tea Room.

If you are ever looking for High Tea is Mississauga, there's the Tea Room located in Streetville. I've been there three times. Everytime I go I would order the Afternoon Tea includes a salad, scone, sandwiches, quiche, desserts and your choice of tea. The variety is quite filling although they are bite size yummies. As for the tea my favorite is the Earl Grey Cream. It has a super smooth and silk taste and the aroma is heavily. When you take a sip it is full of surprises that the one sip is just not enough. This time when we went we added a cup of the Creamy Garden Broccoli soup which is served with their house made Irish Soda Bread. Both were very tasty and delicious. Something that I would definitely add on my next visit. The atmosphere is quite inviting, bright and homey. It's like a little heritage home. Which gives you the feeling of sitting back and have a nice conversation over tea. The Tea Room does have their own private parking however everytime I went it was always full. That being said parking everywhere else is paid however there is plenty of parking around the Tea Room. I do recommend making reservations if you want to go just incase they are full. Can get quite busy in the Tea Room.

    Yummy Afternoon tea items. Delicious!!

I just had to write another review for this place. This Tea House is about the cutest thing I've ever seen. They touch upon everything you would ever want in a Afternoon Tea outing. First of all, let's start with the ambience. How cute is it that they have Classical music playing on a speaker as you walk up to the door on a cobblestone walkway to get you into the mood?. Second, the girls that work here are absolutely phenomenal. Not only are they upbeat, cheerful and attentive but they also are very knowledgeable and helpful with the menu items. The food is so good here. I'm a person who needs a lot of flavour in her food but with minimal ingredients they are able to spit out delicious dishes. The food is always fresh and always elegant. This place is humble, unpretentious and homely. It honestly feels like your going to grandmas house. I love the cute little shop area as well. Nice added touch to view after dining. The place is wonderfully decorated. If I could give some recommendations on what to eat, I would recommend the Chicken salad, the high tea tier and the hot fudge brownie with ice cream. I look forward to exploring the rest of the menu. I would highly suggest this place to have Tea with your girlfriends or mother/daughter outings. This will continue to be go to spot for years to come.

I don't even care for English tea, and this place deserves 5 stars. It's just adorable, I've been multiple times in the last several years. The place is a bit tight, but cutely laid out in terms of the decor. It's perfect for a mother/daughter treat or a day out with girlfriends. I usually share an egg salad sandwich (comes with salad) and a double scone. They split the egg salad sandwich/salad in 2 plates by themselves without my requesting it, which is nice. The scones come with cream and jam -they aren't always 5/5 but always at least good and sometimes wonderful. They once had a special of the day of chocolate chip scones which were AMAZING. They have limited hours (only open in daytime). It's pretty much a MUST to book in advance for the weekend, especially if 3+ people are going. For Mother's Day, I called 2 weeks in advance and they were booked solid.

OOH! First reviewer! ;) Just because I know there's better tea rooms at comparable prices, I'm not a fan. But granted, this is still a good, cute tea room with decent food for a decent price. Pros: - cute, eclectic, kitschy environment - decent prices; you can get away with a tea "set" (i.e. scone, a few sandwiches, a little cupcake here and there) with a brewed tea for around $20 (which is a good price for afternoon teas) - cute experience Cons: - impossible to find parking; they have a little lot to the side, but it's hard to park in Streetsville (a quaint old town feel neighbourhood in Mississauga) unless you're lucky enough to find street parking - you should always make reservations because they only bake/cook enough for the reservations; and even if they bake a bit more and you do a drop-in, they're not that welcoming Some other miscellaneous notes about afternoon teas: boys don't generally like them that much because there's not that much food involved; however, the food that is served (albeit smaller portions), is quite filling because it's quite rich, but still... I think... boys like meat (?!) A high tea place I *would* recommend though is the afternoon tea at the Old Mill Inn & Spa. Comparable prices, but better environment and tastier food.

    What a sunny day!

Had a mixed berry jam which was a good amount of tart and sweetness. Scones were excellent, one of the best I've had so far; which admittedly is not a lot. The sandwiches were okay, filling good, but bread a bit stale. The sweets were a small selection of 4 desserts and berries on the side. There was a lot of food for the 'White House Tea' set, well worth the money and the experience. Nice to try, but a bit far to come back again. Will definitely recommend to someone in the area!

Most of the drinks here come with toppings, which I usually prefer not to have on my drinks. However, they are generally pretty flexible removing with removing them. If you do enjoy toppings in your fruit teas and drinks, then you'll enjoy the drinks here. I had initially come here to try their Lava Taro drinks, but because I come by this location in the afternoon, they're always out by then. The staff told us that their Lava Taro products usually run out for the day at around early afternoon (around 1-3 o'clock pm). Do keep that in mind if you plan to get it. I got their Creme Brulee milk tea, which was very good. Their milk teas are good quality. My boyfriend tried their Very Grape Lime, which I've had before and I also enjoyed. Aside from that, I've had their Tiramisu latte, their Hero milk tea, and their berry fusion, which have all been very good. As far as I know, the drinks come in a fixed size. I wish I could further customize the size as sometimes I want a larger Tiramisu latte, but they do let you customize the sugar and ice level. Otherwise, very solid location. I got 3 drinks: one Jasmine green tea, one classic milk Boba tea and one pineapple tea with Boba. I was not that big of a fan of the pineapple but loved the other ones. I don't like the Boba used as I find it a little too chewy and the taste isn't as good as other Boba pearls I've had. I find this one to have a bit of stronger taste. It's a small shop, but cute. There are board games available and it gives off a cozy/chill vibe. When waiting for your drink, there's a seating area near the door and even a game you can try. It was busy and there was only 1 person working. 1 person for the entire place, to make drinks and take the orders. I can imagine how much slower it would be during peak hours. So I usually save those for special occasions. But when I'm craving an afternoon tea experience for no reason, then I look up places outside of Toronto. I've been to several now, they are usually more traditional and while not as fancy, also half the price of the locations in downtown Toronto. I saw lots of great reviews for the Escarpment Tea Room online (but not on Yelp). From the pictures I had an idea that this would be a very homey experience. And it is actually located in an old house, next to a legion-like venue. Unassuming, it wasn't too hard to find though. The place is pretty small and a bit crammed with seating for about 20 people. It felt like we were in someone's grandmother's house with British memorabilia and trinkets everywhere. But the owner is very sweet and chatted with us, giving us info on each of her teas which are a mix of bag and lose. To be honest, we found the teas themselves fairly average. What stood out for us was the food. The savory items came out first, followed by sweets. It is traditional and not an overwhelming amount, but almost everything is made in-house, using good quality ingredients including a salmon sandwich which was made with fresh salmon. The desserts were all thoughtful created, freshly made and really delicious as well. I was highly impressed considering the owner seemed to do almost everything herself. The place wasn't full, but I imagine she staggers her reservations so people aren't rushed.
