Venue 5/5 Great corner cafe on Yonge and St Joseph just north of Wellesley. Easy to access via TTC, walking or driving (street parking on St Joseph). Interior design is cozy and the pink aesthetic makes it a calm place to have a chat, or work remotely. Service 5/5 I went on a weekday. It was quiet, and the staff were very helpful and explaining their options as well as to prepare the order. Self serve areas are clean too. Would come back again! Food 4/5 There are many drink and food options, iced or hot drinks, snacks, or lunch sandwiches, along with dessert. See attached photos. I had the sausage croissant with the jeju iced matcha latte. They had 2 other options for less sweet and one with oat milk.

Delectable delights in a sleek space. Stopped by for a post-dinner snack and got: - Real Fresh Milk Cream Croissant: Croissant was buttery and not overly flaky. Cream inside was thick and fresh. - Mascarpone Strawberry Fresh Cream: Same good cream over a spongey cake. - Strawberry Matcha Frappe: Giod strong matcha taste, not enough strawberry, and a tad too icy. Place isn't exactly homey as it goes for a more modern vibe. Prices are what prices are these days. Service is perfunctory. They also serve savoury stuff if you're not in the mood for desserts. Overall, a good spot to try.

This Bingsu ice was okay for me. Compared to other cafes I've tried, it wasn't particularly impressive. It wasn't sweet, and I felt like I was eating ice cream instead of milk ice cream. But overall, it was decent. The present was okay, not bad, but...

This is a Korean-owned cafe. This second location soft-opened on 2025-05-30 downtown. Their uptown location has been open at least one year. They sell coffee, teasl, frappe, refreshers, sparkling drinks, yogurt ice cream, salads, and sandwiches. During their soft-opening, you can get a Yogurt Ice Cream ($7.00) for $0.99 with any purchase. The Yogurt Ice Cream ($7.00) comes in a cup. It is refreshing with a lemon-lime taste. The customer service was good. They have a loyalty program via their app. The interior is spacious and bright. There is adequate table seating on either side of the staff area. There is loud easy-listening Korean music playing in the background. There is one oval table that has electrical outlets. There is free WiFi. The cafe is wheelchair accessible. There is one gender-neutral washroom (not labelled) that is wheelchair accessible. There is paid neighbourhood street parking. Review 2025-098

Saw this place open up and was curious to see what they had to offer. Spacious cafe with great offerings and vibes. Clean with lots of seating with soft music. Great for studying or getting work done. Went with the bingsu and both were nice and powdery. Super refreshing. Prices are fair for the neighborhood.

This second location is located outside on the beautifully picturesque cobblestone road named Temperance Street. The building is historic and the calm interiors make you feel instantly at home. The staff was really nice and told me about their menu and seasonal items. In addition to coffee and matcha based beverages, the store offers food and merch as well. Apparently this location is a laptop free zone, offering an incredibly welcome oasis from the hustle and bustle of financial district. Today I ordered a cortado. Before you even drink it, the fragrant coffee smell hits you. A bit sweet and almost fruity. When drinking it, the flavours amplify and provide an overall sense of calm, a breath of fresh air. It doesn't just feel like a regular old coffee but that you can take your time with it, like having a conversation with an old friend, it is meant to be savoured. I absolutely plan to go back for one of their seasonal matcha beverages and to get away from it all. 5/5

I did like the flavor of the regular hot matcha latte more, plus they made a very cute bunny latte art on it! Inside is small with minimal seatings but has a cool ambience for hanging out.

The café itself is beautiful and has a very modern, aesthetically pleasing atmosphere. It was extremely busy during my visit, which is always a good sign. Because of the rush, a few tables still had dishes waiting to be cleared, making it a little difficult for some customers to find a place to sit. The tables are also fairly close together, but that's understandable given the downtown Toronto setting. The smoked salmon croissant was the highlight of my meal. It was fresh, flavorful, and packed with ingredients that worked really well together. I would absolutely order it again. My only disappointment was the latte. It looked beautiful and tasted good, but it was served warm rather than hot. Since our breakfast arrived about 10 minutes after our drinks, my coffee had become even cooler by the time I started eating, which took away from the experience. Overall, I still enjoyed my visit and would definitely give Nonni Cafe & Bakery another try. The friendly staff, beautiful atmosphere, and delicious food make it a great spot for a relaxed breakfast or coffee date.

This coffee shop is nestled semi-behind a pillar beside the lobby of the Intercontinental hotel Toronto, which adds to its charm for me, in a way. Love finding a good "hole in the wall" :) I love the bright, feminine, beachy decor and coral pink & aqua blue accents. It's not too tropical, but it definitely transports you outside of Canada. Coupled with Aussie staples like vegemite and Noosa magazines (takes me straight back there!), as well as gorgeous ceramic coffee mugs for purchase, the vibes are great here. While it is a smaller shop, there is enough seating for 3 tables, and it's very cozy. Had to go for a flat white, given the Aussie homage here. This one got my approval (and I'm picky about my flat whites) - they used a lighter, more balanced espresso roast, paired with just the right amount of creamy frothed milk. They also had a banana bread latte that my companion really enjoyed too! Looking forward to my next visit!

It's a tiny, cozy place with only a couple tables and tall chairs, so they can really only accommodate grab-and-go orders, other than a few people to sit or work. Perfect for a coffee before a Jays game or if you're here for a conference next door. I realized it was already late fall and I hadn't yet had my one and only PSL of the year, so that's what I ordered. It was decent as far as PSL's go and came with a lovely little foam pumpkin on top. Tres adorbs. The iced strawberry matcha latte also looked incredible and I had order envy. My friend ordered a pastry and said it was delicious. They also have a great little selection of food items, canned bevvies, coffee beans, teas, as well as souvenir gifts for purchase such as ceramic mugs. Did I mention the coffee was really good?
