I had such a good time at Rumble! The class is 1/2 weights and 1/2 time spent on the bag. The coach stands on the podium and will guide you through your workout. They also show the workout on the wall if you need a reminder of which combo/exercise you're supposed to be doing. I was definitely sore afterwards! The ambiance was pretty chill, the decor in this place was cool! I love the lights, it almost makes you feel like you're in a club. The staff was extremely helpful and super nice! I'll be back soon to kick some butt!

They take the time to learn everyone's goals and abilities, and they always know how to push you just the right amount. The workouts are challenging but fun, and the energy in every class is incredibly motivating. The coaches create an encouraging environment where you feel supported, no matter your fitness level. They're great at modifying workouts or offering effective alternative moves, which really helps me train safely with my previous injuries. It's clear they truly love what they do and want every member to succeed. The gym itself is well maintained, clean, spacious, and plenty of parking. Towels and showers are available. I also appreciate how mindful the coaches are about wiping down equipment--especially when another member forgets to clean up their (sometimes copious!) sweat. I've worked out at various gyms over the past couple of decades, and this is by far my favorite--even compared to other F45 locations! The positive energy shared among the members, combined with the outstanding coaching team (shout-out to Marlene, Jenn, Vickie, Mei-Mei, Ericka, Michelle, Priscilla, and Raquel!), makes me genuinely look forward to every workout. If you're looking for a place with top-notch coaching, a welcoming atmosphere, and real results, this bootcamp gym is the place to be. Highly recommend!

Ok buckle in and get comfy because this is gonna be a long review. I have always been a notoriously…read morelazy person that will not move unless I absolutely have to. But every few years, I'll start feeling bad about myself, sign up for a gym, and pay for it every month and go once or twice a year. So when my friend asked me if I wanted to do a trial class at OrangeTheory and I loved it and signed up, my husband was very skeptical. That was over two years ago. I'm still consistently going, minus one month where I had some health issues. Let me spill all the deets. There are three plans you can sign up for - 4 classes a month, 8 classes a month or unlimited. Let's get the cons out of the way first. If you sign up for a class and don't cancel more than 8 hours in advance, you either lose the class (if you have the 4/8 class plan) or you have to pay $14 (I think) for the unlimited plan. Honestly, this works in my favor because it's very motivating to go. They also have their own heart rate monitor that connects with their system - you can't use your own monitor. Their monitor is over $100. You don't HAVE to have it, but for me personally, this monitor gamifies the whole workout so I feel like it's a necessity. Now for the actual structure of the workout. You have different zones depending on your heart rate. The zones go from blue to green to orange to red as your heart rate increases. The orange zone is where ORANGETheory gets their name. You can ask them more about the science, I don't want to fake news you. There is a coach and then there's you and other people like you that are not the coach. There are treads, rowers, and the floor. The floor is strength - weights, resistance bands, other things. Usually, you start either on the tread or the floor and then alternate to the other halfway through the class. When you start on the floor, you warm up on the rower. On the tread, there are three categories of you - you are a power walker, jogger or runner. Then there are different levels - base pace, push and all out. Depending on this 3x3 matrix, there are windows of your pace + incline. For example, a power walker's base pace is 3.5 - 4.5 speed and 1-3% incline and their all out is the same pace with a 10% incline. A jogger's base pace would be 4.5 - 5.5 with no incline (don't quote me on these ranges). A push basically pushes you (there are ranges) and all-outs are supposed to kill you. The coach will tell you how long you need to stay in each - for example: 1 minute base, 2 minutes of push and 30 seconds of all out. And will tell you when to switch between each. These ranges are suggestions, the coaches will never call you out if you decide to take it easy some days and go lower than the range. On the floor, you choose the weights or resistance, and there is a screen showing you what workout to do and the range of reps you need to do. The coach will demonstrate the forms and walk around and fix your form if necessary. Sometimes you will go on the rower in between floor exercises. Then there are events and challenges that gamify the whole workout. There is an event called Hell Week for example around Halloween. They are more intense workouts and if you get 4 workouts in an 8 day period, you will get a shirt. These are usually $15 extra, but I always like to sign up for these. There's a workout called Capture the Flag where you and a partner are on the rower and trying to reach certain goals to capture different flags and this one always makes me feel like I"m going to die, but in a good way. There are many many others, and for the single day events, you usually get a metric so you can compare this metric to the next time the same event rolls around to see how much you've improved (or not, which is cool too) I realize it's not for everyone, but for me personally, I (and everyone else who's known me for a long time) can't believe how consistently I work out now. My husband was astounded, and to this day, my friend who dragged me to the trial class is incredibly proud of herself (which she absolutely should be). I at least recommend a trial class (hit me up so I can take you and refer you!). Even if you don't like it, it'll be such a great workout. Also, it's easy to burn 500+ calories in an hour.

Whether you're brand new to fitness, a parent juggling life, pregnant or postpartum, or a competitive athlete chasing podiums, this gym truly meets you where you are and helps you rise. This gym trains HYROX first-timers alongside professional elite HYROX competitors, and somehow everyone feels supported, challenged, and motivated. There are multiple podium HYROX athletes, DEKA competitors (and podium world champion athletes), Spartan racers, and elite professional members training here, and the culture is never intimidating, it's only inspiring. HAWC is veteran-owned by Dan he shows up everyday and pours his heart and soul into his gym. The classes feel like studio classes (like barre or spin, etc.) that you'd be paying almost $200/month for without any amenities or regular gym equipment. I've been to other gyms in the past that had a lot of hm, lets just call it people watching and social hour. Folks here are definitely here to workout, do their own thing and friendly. Definitely a no judgement zone. I also had some hesitations based on other reviews about not being able to freeze or cancel membership within the first year especially if you have an injury and what not but decided to go for it anyway despite that, more on that later. Some other other gyms didn't seem to be any better based on those reviews so it probably would've been similar issues elsewhere anyway. When you initial sign up, they give you some comp sessions with a trainer (to obviously sell you personal training) but it's something I wanted to try anyway. I thought, why not, let's give it a go for a few months since I thought it would be good to get an extra boost and back into a routine. Well, a few months had passed and then I had some travel plans so I was away from the gym but then came back from my travels with a severe knee injury where I could barely walk. It sucked but I showed up anyway. Not because I couldn't cancel my membership due to the contract terms but because I needed movement for rehab. I was initially hesitant about returning to training because I felt like I wouldn't be training at 100%. And let's be real, the training sessions aren't cheap. After some discussion with physical therapist for a rehab plan, I decided to return to training with Summer and it was honestly one of the best decisions I've made. Summer programed exercises for me to supplement my PT. She has been really awesome to work with, because my program needed a lot of re-working along the way to adapt to my rehab progress. She's also open to feedback and really great with listening to my input on things that I want to work on. While I am still ways away from being 100% recovered from my knee injury, I already feel like it's night and day compared to just a few months ago. So why only 4 stars? Well, only taking one off is quite generous despite some issues with their app, specifically for training and the so-so amenities in the locker room. The app isn't the best and there were some miscommunications with it that led to a lot of frustration but the training manager Matt was really nice and made it right. The other reason for taking off the star was the amenities which they finally changed to something that smells way better. The previous products didn't smell good and it seemed like the shampoo, body wash, and face cleanser seemed like it was all the same soap in the shower. Didn't feel like there is anything different between the stuff in the bottles. It wouldn't even upset me that there was just one multipurpose wash but the same soap in the different bottles is just confusing for me. Like what's the point? Anyway, good riddance with the old stuff. I haven't tried the new stuff yet aside from the lotion that smells heavenly. I haven't been to the other locations to compare but this one is sufficient for my needs.
