Crossfit Danville is awesome! I started Crossfit on a recommendation from my orthopedic surgeon…read moreafter ACL surgery to aid in my knee rehab. At first this sounded bizarre - I thought "Won't I get hurt doing Crossfit?" or "I've never done back squats or those other crazy Crossfit handstand pushups and other things before...this will be intimidating". I can say 100% for certain: It's not crazy nor is it intimidating. Dusty, the owner and main coach, is VERY helpful in working with you and within your abilities. For example, my wife started coming to Crossfit classes with me (did Barre and other aerobic type classes) but was hesitant because she has always had shoulder pain/issues. Dusty helped her to modify exercises and/or chose an appropriate weight so that she could still get a great workout in, get a good sweat on and have a good time. More importantly, her shoulder wasn't in pain the rest of the day. I thoroughly enjoy the wide variety of classes offered from the conventional Crossfit classes at 5:30am to get a good workout in before kids, work, crazy life starts & the variety of endurance (cardio emphasis rowing/running/biking/etc) and other lighter weight classes at 8:30am which I enjoy doing with my wife a couple days a week. You can find something you like here and you will find the others working out with you are all supportive and there to have a good time and get a good workout in. One thing I hear from friends interested in Crossfit but hesitant to start is the fear of not being able to do all the exercises that 'everyone else is doing'. We all started from not being able to do all those things! For the first year or so, I couldn't do a normal pull-up but my friends in class could do 10 in a row. This gave me something to shoot for; to be able to do a pull-up like my fellow Crossfiters and with time I got there. Dusty is a big help in working with you on what your goals are and to meet these goals. For some, always modifying and just getting a good workout in is common and not looked down upon by anyone at Crossfit Danville. I would give Crossfit Danville a try if you are interested in Crossfit! But do tell Dusty that I referred you (if you read this) since I might possibly get a cool prize and maybe a little referral perk :-)

I contacted them a year ago when they had a CrossFit gymnastics course happening and they were quite professional and referred me to their coach./instructor. We reached out again this year specifically to the coach and instructor and received abrupt emails from Tiffany (co-owner) not addressing that there was no longer this course and abruptly recommended classes without explanation as to what they were. I asked for a call and never received one, but sent a follow-up thinking that my 14 year old could try out the teens class. She emailed to deter us and said that it was too advanced and that she needed to go to the pre-teen class (without meeting us or explanation - as far as I'm concerned an almost 15 year old athlete is a teen, not a middle school tween). Her husband Dusty then chimed in and basically said that was incorrect, explained what happened to the gymnastics class, and that our could join the teen class, he tried to get it straightened out (why a co-owner would not know this or know how to respond is beyond me). however when I provided feedback to him about the rude email responses and lack of even receiving a courtesy call upon request, he stopped responding as well. Poor business and communication skills all around, would NOT recommend entertaining this business if that's how they view potential clients - apparently they don't care nor need the business.

From day one, the experience has been unmatched. The trainers are awesome...motivating, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping you push past your limits while still making the workouts so much fun (even when they change the workout to make you do burpees *cough* Jaime). Between the high energy atmosphere and the infectious playlists, it's impossible to not be motivated during your workout. While the format of the classes is consistent, the workouts and muscle focus change every day in a way that keeps things challenging and never boring. The staff is always welcoming, the space is clean and well-maintained, and the vibe makes you actually look forward to working out. It is truly a community of people who support each other. Two years later and I'm still coming back 4-5x a week. That should speak for itself! I highly recommend this studio!

Upon Entrance of the Rumble studio in San Ramon, im immediately greeted name when entering and exiting studio. Its always clean and organized. Inside the fitness studio, benches and floor are always so clean. All the front staff, Kim, Jada, the manager and Owners who would like to remain anonymous, ensure all members are accommodated as best as can be. The Staff and Instructors are always so welcoming to the Rumble members with the most energetic, motivating and positive vibes. The Rumble San Ramon staff and instructors are always so encouraging to the members and are sincere by addressing us with our name. The instructors remind us to stay motivated and acknowledges members efforts on the punching water bag, on the floor at their benches, and celebrating achievements on members "Milestones" and birthdays. Something that i dont get out of my past gym memberships that Rumble provides is that safety is priority, such as using proper form, proper weights, during exercises. The instructors are all so observant ensuring we are executing everything properly. All the instructors put so much effort into coaching the members that they are sweating hard in coaching everyone. (Billy probably sweats the most) EVERYONE HAS their favorites but I cant be tied down to one. I love the variety of what all the instructors bring differently to fitness studio Abhi is so energetic, Zen, and has such a welcoming vibe and still pumps everyone up and motivates us. Billy, the founding trainer, gives everyone amazing boxing style training which makes me feel like a real boxing fighter. The best part is that Billy brings the most comical vibes of entertainment while we are being pushed to our limits and fighting through the exercises for more reps and making fitness more enjoyable with laughs. Jaime, the head trainer, always keeps you on your toes and keeps you in check when you wanna be lazy (i.e. me using 5 pound dumbbells on my lazy day when I always use the 45 pound dumbells). She is always so encouraging to everyone. When you feel like giving up, she will make you feel like you're not alone in the exercises so you feel like you can push yourself even more. Olivia, with professional fighting experience, brings precise fighting techniques with proper form and execution of martial arts and boxing. It feels good to be trained by a pro fighter. Scott puts 1000% in instructing his classes and into all the members to never stop improving themselves with maximizing the time we are training with him. He is that powerful voice you hear during your exercises that give you strength to keep going when you feel like giving up. All the Rumble classes are so upbeat with positive vibes and non-stop safe fitness to energetic music to pump everyone up. It's amazing! After every single Rumble class I leave the studio with all the worries, stress, anxiety and weakness back in the Rumble studio and exit the building with confidence and strength to take on the world and life with courage and my head up. THANKS RUMBLE SAN RAMON. (P.S.-- WIL TOU MARRY ME?)

There's a common misconception when it comes to CrossFit and the social media doesn't do it any…read morejustice. We've all seen countless numbers of CrossFit fails on Instagram or Facebook and that can be misleading. You know, the quirky pull-ups, the rounded back deadlifts and failed snatches. The list goes on and on. But after being persuade to try the one week free trial I quickly fell in love with the programming and I have been attending the morning class consistently every since. There are three stages in the class. Each day you'll start off with a warm-up, technique and then the actual workout or WOD. Sometimes the warm-up feels like the actual workout but hey you're getting more bang for your buck. I think of the technique portion as the anti gym fail portion. This is the opportunity to go over the movements and coordination with your coach. Each member will get checked on to make sure the appropriate weight is being used and they'll make sure you execute each rep correctly. In my opinion, it's a huge preventative for injuries. The variety of workouts is awesome. Each day is something different. One day you could be doing a lot more compound movements, the next might be calisthenics and then the following day might be more cardio intensive. If you're worried about your fitness level, there are scale options. I'll be the first one to admit that I can barely do any pull-ups and I can't even do any double unders. But there is a scale option, time for improvement and a killer workout. All the members are friendly and encouraging. Everybody is on a different fitness level and there are no intimidation factors at all. All the coaches are friendly and attentive. I suggest trying out their free trial and see how you'll like it. At the end you'll get a hell of a workout. What do you have to lose?

Upon reading the reviews and communicating with the staff we scheduled a trial workout. We went in, were greeted by the staff, shown the facility, and began our workout. The facility was crowded but very clean (there are multiple things happening in the evening classes-girls volleyball etc.). The workout kicked our butts since we have not done Crossfit in over a year and a half to two years. Regardless, it was a great work out! Everyone in the class was super sweet and the coach was really motivating. He knew that we were just coming back to Crossfit and did not push to the extreme, rather encouraged us and believed in us. Although we ended up not signing up for the gym, mainly because of the time it would take us to get to the gym every evening or morning, we loved the environment and atmosphere. If we lived just a tad bit closer, we would have definitely signed up. It is a great, drama-free, accepting, and welcoming environment to all. If you are looking for a box, look no further!
