Wow! I brought my 8 year old cavachon in for a full groom today and was absolutely blown away. Usually we just take her to the local petco near the mall, but they always seem over priced and just walking in there my pup gets anxious and starts crying. We walked into ruff cuts and Buttercup was happily exploring and walking around while I talked to the groomer. Less than 2 hours later I get the call that she is ready and I picked her up. This is easily the best hair cut my dog has ever had and she's in a good mood to boot! The pricing is actually very reasonable. For a cavalier mix it was only $49 which is VERY competitive with the larger pet chains. Of course according to their website, grooming prices vary by breed so make sure to ask. I'll happily pay that for the quality of service we got today. We will definitely be returning for all of my dogs grooming needs! read more

I brought my 4 month old puppy in for a first time cut . I told them I knew my puppy had some knots but I DO NOT WANT HIM SHORT !!! Well when I picked my 4 month old 2 pound puppy up he was shaved to the skin. I was in total SHOCK !!! The groomer that did his hair never came out to address me or explain anything to me . I went in with a spunky adorable puppy an left with a shaved to the skin dog ! If there were any issues I should have Ben called before my puppy was shaved. I'm DISGUSTED WITH THIS PLACE AN I AM SICK TO THINK INSTEAD IF TAKING THE TIME WITH A LIL PUPPY THEY FELT IT WAS EASIER TO SHAVED!!!!!! My dog received the most care from the second we walked in the door. The owner greeted us and was very friendly. My dog can be very anxious when it comes to grooming but he he left happy and with the BEST CUT hes ever gotten( and we were taking him every 6 weeks). Brenna was so great with him & they clicked instantly . I can drop him off with confidence. The prices are fair and quality of service is impressive. I have been to this place twice and I will never go again. The first time they charged me $5 more than the price quoted to me over the phone to trim the dogs nails. The second time I called on a Tuesday to see if they had time to trim nails on my dog. They said they had nothing available until Thursday. I asked if they had something on Saturday and they said yes at 3:30. Brought the dog in at 3:30 on Saturday and was told I didn't have an appointment, they said it was for Friday. I told them I didn't make it for Friday because I was not available to bring her in on a Friday. They said they couldnt trim her nails because they were busy. I repeat, I will never bring my dog there again. read more

Although the owner and groomer seemed very pleasant and the groom was cute, the shave was performed far to short and not as instructed. My dog experienced several days of trauma and was squealing, licking and shaking due to razor burn or a knick from too close a shave around her back end. I had arranged a visit to the vet when her discomfort wasn't subsiding but the condition improved before this was necessary. Brenna offered to pay the vet bill at the time. read more

I am passing through on my way home from a beach vacation with the pups and all it takes is 2 days in my parents' lovely pet free condo to realize how stinky these dogs can get. I passed by them on Main St. yesterday and called this morning desperate for a bath. They fit them in! They were willing to call the North Carolina vet to verify rabies certs, they greeted us with kindness and enthusiasm (and the space is super cool too, plenty of parking and next to a coffee shop). My two cairn terriers are clean, smell good and came out HAPPY! I have been to *unnamed chain petstore* where they tremble at the door until I let them out. Not here. For the record our groomers were Robbie and Kim but literally everyone I saw was so happy and pet loving I think you can't lose! read more

They do a wonderful job here with my labradoodle, Stella. They work hard to keep the environment calm--a huge difference from the big chain store grooming experience! I know that Stella will not be anxious when I pick her up--just pretty! I appreciate the time the groomers take to make sure that Stella looks good and is given lots of love.
