Ruff Cuts Grooming - Marley can see! - Pet Groomers Near Me - Manchester, Connecticut

Wow! I brought my 8 year old cavachon in for a full groom today and was absolutely blown away. Usually we just take her to the local petco near the mall, but they always seem over priced and just walking in there my pup gets anxious and starts crying. We walked into ruff cuts and Buttercup was happily exploring and walking around while I talked to the groomer. Less than 2 hours later I get the call that she is ready and I picked her up. This is easily the best hair cut my dog has ever had and she's in a good mood to boot! The pricing is actually very reasonable. For a cavalier mix it was only $49 which is VERY competitive with the larger pet chains. Of course according to their website, grooming prices vary by breed so make sure to ask. I'll happily pay that for the quality of service we got today. We will definitely be returning for all of my dogs grooming needs! read more

I brought my 4 month old puppy in for a first time cut . I told them I knew my puppy had some knots but I DO NOT WANT HIM SHORT !!! Well when I picked my 4 month old 2 pound puppy up he was shaved to the skin. I was in total SHOCK !!! The groomer that did his hair never came out to address me or explain anything to me . I went in with a spunky adorable puppy an left with a shaved to the skin dog ! If there were any issues I should have Ben called before my puppy was shaved. I'm DISGUSTED WITH THIS PLACE AN I AM SICK TO THINK INSTEAD IF TAKING THE TIME WITH A LIL PUPPY THEY FELT IT WAS EASIER TO SHAVED!!!!!! In the photo I can see it is nite an day what they did to my puppy. DISGUSTING!!!! read more

Oh my, I am in love with this place! We saw that a new groomer had opened up and decided to check it out. Not only does my English Springer Spaniel look fantastic now- it was affordable, the staff were beyond friendly, and I felt like my dog was getting spoiled. We will be back! read more

Took my Golden for her first cut today and couldn't be happier with how she looks. She had never been to a groomer before (bad mom dog), showed them a picture, and when I picked her up, looked great! You can tell she had a good experience and I'll definitely be going back. Thanks! read more

Absolutely the best place we've taken our dogs Feefee and Pepper. They love going here. The employees are. Wandherful the dogs

Spotted this business at the Barkfest in Manchester. Chatted for a bit and asked if I can bring in my dog to check out the place to see if she would go in. The previous place she balked at the door and did not want to go in. We were both impressed. They are all so friendly and professional and super warm to my dog. Made an appointment and she loved it. Even bought a toy on the way out. Will certainly be back. Made another appointment already. read more

I brought my husky here a few months ago and I couldn't be any happier with the results! Not only did they do a fantastic job with her grooming but they were so friendly! They were also very understanding with her food allergies and made sure to only use the treats I brought with her. Can't wait to go back - I highly recommend checking this place out! read more

I have a miniature golden-doodle. I have been astonished of the high prices of other dog groomers for a 35 pound dog. Ruff Cuts did a great job on her haircut and it was cheap than the competitors. I also liked it because my dog was not waiting for too long to have her hair cut. She was in and out in 3 hours. That is a major improvement from the 6 hours she spent at many other groomers. read more

My dog received the most care from the second we walked in the door. The owner greeted us and was very friendly. My dog can be very anxious when it comes to grooming but he he left happy and with the BEST CUT hes ever gotten( and we were taking him every 6 weeks). Brenna was so great with him & they clicked instantly . I can drop him off with confidence. The prices are fair and quality of service is impressive. They even have dog treats and accessories in the store front. The shop is clean and the staff is extremely friendly. I HIGHLY recommend it!!! read more

I have been to this place twice and I will never go again. The first time they charged me $5 more than the price quoted to me over the phone to trim the dogs nails. The second time I called on a Tuesday to see if they had time to trim nails on my dog. They said they had nothing available until Thursday. I asked if they had something on Saturday and they said yes at 3:30. Brought the dog in at 3:30 on Saturday and was told I didn't have an appointment, they said it was for Friday. I told them I didn't make it for Friday because I was not available to bring her in on a Friday. They said they couldnt trim her nails because they were busy. I repeat, I will never bring my dog there again. read more

First experience here was flawless. Friendly staff with a clean, convenient location. My senior pup took to the groomer immediately and they took the time to learn about the type of cut I was looking for, and were very attentive to her needs. They were running on time and she was ready exactly when they told me she would be. I highly recommend Ruff Cuts and I will most certainly be back! Bravo! read more

I have a very anxious dog who has only gotten groomed once before and did not have a good experience. But Ruffcuts turned that all around for him. He came out happy and wagging his tail, plus he looked great! The price they quoted me was the exact price I paid and I really appreciate that. Hopefully we will be coming back for years to come! Thank you!! read more

Absolutely wonderful place to have your dog groomed. The staff is friendly and extremely knowledgeable. The best part is how much their love of dogs shines through- I don't think my dog has ever had so many adoring fans in one place! read more

Although the owner and groomer seemed very pleasant and the groom was cute, the shave was performed far to short and not as instructed. My dog experienced several days of trauma and was squealing, licking and shaking due to razor burn or a knick from too close a shave around her back end. I had arranged a visit to the vet when her discomfort wasn't subsiding but the condition improved before this was necessary. Brenna offered to pay the vet bill at the time. read more

My dogs usually don't enjoy being in another place but home, however every time we pick them up from their grooming session they seem to be very happy and comfortable. Their prices are also very reasonable. Very good service! read more

They do a wonderful job here with my labradoodle, Stella. They work hard to keep the environment calm--a huge difference from the big chain store grooming experience! I know that Stella will not be anxious when I pick her up--just pretty! I appreciate the time the groomers take to make sure that Stella looks good and is given lots of love. We will never go back to Petco! read more

Brought my Great Dane & poodle there for the first time. I was sooooo happy. First of all, the groomers are so nice and professional. The cuts came out awesome! For once my dogs didn't want to leave the groomer! Can't wait to go back again. I highly recommend this place! read more

I am passing through on my way home from a beach vacation with the pups and all it takes is 2 days in my parents' lovely pet free condo to realize how stinky these dogs can get. I passed by them on Main St. yesterday and called this morning desperate for a bath. They fit them in! They were willing to call the North Carolina vet to verify rabies certs, they greeted us with kindness and enthusiasm (and the space is super cool too, plenty of parking and next to a coffee shop). My two cairn terriers are clean, smell good and came out HAPPY! I have been to *unnamed chain petstore* where they tremble at the door until I let them out. Not here. For the record our groomers were Robbie and Kim but literally everyone I saw was so happy and pet loving I think you can't lose! read more

I will definitely return. I was very pleased on the cut they gave my Maltese :) thanks again!
